Dukes of Hazzard Episodes

Watching the second season on DVD I noticed there was no intro on the episode Treasure of Hazzard. It just goes straight into the theme song. Is this the way everyone else's DVD sets are? Is this the way it originally aired? Any feedback would be appreciated. New to HazzardNet, Brent

Did anybody else notice that the actor who plays Matt Mallory is the same one who played Luke's friend Phil in The Great Hazzard Hijack? I find it slightly disturbing that in both cases his character is pretending that his significant other is his sister, and the female ends up flirting with the brunette Duke boy. I think that's a few too many coincidences.

I remember seeing an episode where the dukes sing " dont let your babies grow up to be cowboys " but i cant remember which episode was that. Can somebody name it ?

I loved this episode! It was really heartwarming how much Rosco cared about Enos leaving.

I saw this episode for the first time last night on CMT. I have to admit to disliking Coy and Vance for the most part, but last night's show made me pause. Watching Byron Cherry play the part of a very shocked and shaken Coy was worth the hour this show was on. Vance seems almost mechanical in his acting, but even he showed some improvement last night. I'm interested to see if these two actors develop any further in the remaining shows they are in. Don’t get me wrong though, they will never be able to measure up to John and Tom, but maybe there is a little something there after all. Just thought I’d put this thought out there.

Well, I like to hear the difference from the phrases used in the original version and the italian one, when I reach. Looking "The carnival of thrills" I noticed this one: Bo and Luke are discussing in the house a little before they go out and start fighting, Daisy try to make peace but Luke stop her and say: (italian version) -So bene che Bo ha più successo di me- that you can read as -I know Bo has more success than me- (with woman) In the english one, he say something like -Bo has a pretty face-. Did I understand correct?

Once the second season DVD comes out in two weeks, everyone can watch the episodes in the order that they make sense. The original airdates were really messed up: for instance, we see Daisy driving her jeep in "Arrest Jesse Duke", but we don't see her getting the jeep as a present until a couple of weeks later in "The Runaway". In some episodes, you didn't know whether she was going to be driving the plymouth or the jeep. Same goes with Rosco's and Cooter's replacements. You didn't know whether Rosco or Cooter were going to be in the episode or their replacements (even though both sets of replacements weren't in the same episode). On a scale of 1 to 10... I give this episode a 9. =) It was neat to see Boss losing his memory. Audrey Landers makes a return visit to Hazzard County. Last seen in R.I.P. Henry Flatt, as a Duke friend. This apperance, she protrays bad girl Billie Jean. Highly recommended over any Coy and Vance episode. LOL Daney

I wasn’t sure if this is the right place to bring up the first reunion TV movie, or not...but the other ‘movie’ thread looks to be mainly about the 2005 feature film, and not the “real” Dukes. Anyway, just watched Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion (1997) last night. I remember watching both this & Hollywood when they first aired—probably still have the VHS recordings of them boxed up somewhere. Out of both reunion movies I like the Reunion one best as it still takes place in Hazzard & Uncle Jesse is still around. But, the only 2 issues I have are the General used & the end...where at the last second Daisy backs out of the wedding & dumps poor Enos—again! …

lets see here ya'll, we got The Great Santa Claus Chase, The closest one to being halloween would be Hazzardville Horror.... hmmm we got anymore ya'll??? I think they should've created some like maybe little minisodes of the Dukes' for the holidays. like for thanksgiving and Valentine's day and fourth of july.

Watching Limo One is Missing again tonight. I remember watching this one as a small child when it originally aired. Fun and hilarious episode, “luve” it, as Cooter would say, lol! But it was unrealistic as well. There were hardly any Secret Service agents, other than the couple in the blue sedan accompanying it. Even in 1979 there would have been more security guarding and traveling with the president’s car. But, still a memorable and enjoyable episode! I’d add some photos for fun, but they’re always too “big”.

Has anyone ever notice that Luke shuts the passager door on the general lee in the Days of Rose and Shine. it's the ridgerunner episode where they have a reunion of all the ridgerunner sit and watching movies. And Boss challenges Jesse to another race. It's when Luke puts the detour sign up to get Jesse back into the race. The first time I watched the dvd I never notice. It's when you really sit and watch that you notice. Jessi Duke 8)

Watching this 3rd season episode again. Love this one...plenty of action, humor, and the plot was fun with Boss Hogg being the target. The scenes with the drunk driver Hobie crack me up ...as nowadays this would be considered a serious & dangerous offense (and rightfully so), but back then a little DUI action was no big deal...maybe a night in jail to sober up & a fine. Also, the hardware store owner, Homer Griggs-(sp?) I thought was kind of gullible & ridiculous to think the Duke boys would actually rob him...I mean, he’s known them & Uncle Jesse for who knows how many years, and how long have the Dukes been coming in there to pay for screen,…

I think I figured out the name that Daisy says that got changed to Lorretta Lynn. Tammy Wynette. I watched the episode a few dozen times today while working on a lil' experiment and I kept watching the scene where Daisy does her shuck n' jive to Lester Star to listen to her tape and without the sound playing I kept watching her as she spoke. At first I was trying to see if it looked like she was saying Dolly Parton....but her mouth does not appear to be saying that. I really think it looks like Tammy Wynette. If I'm right, I find it interesting because Ms. Wynette would end up being one of the singers caught in Boss's Celebrity Speed Trap later in season three (I think…
