Dukes of Hazzard Episodes

Has anyone else ever considered / noticed that season five's "Farewell, Hazzard" may have been conceived as a possible finale to the show? Think about it. After the show had Coy and Vance in place of Bo and Luke for most of the season (as well as slowly declining script quality), ratings were seriously down on the previous seasons. So it was uncertain for a time if the series would be renewed for another season. As such, "Farewell, Hazzard" can really be seen as a bookend finale to the show. Boss finally succeeds in taking the Duke farm from the Dukes, leaving them homeless and forced to leave town. Meanwhile, a dodgy property developer is conning him and plans to oblit…

I just got done watching the episode "Jude Emery" from one of my DVD sets and found a default. I was wondering if it is just my tape or perhaps just something they did...After Luke throws Elmer - the snake - into Patche's car and Patch runs off...they get out and Patch yells at Luke (but isn't really understandable of what he says...and then Luke says something back. But when Luke says something, his mouth moves but no sound comes out. I was just wondering if it was my DVD that has done this...that is the only episode that I had have that happened to; at least so far. Take care, keep it between the ditches Garrett Duke

I've recorded Dukes episodes on VHS for quite a few years but for some reason, I have never been able to get a few episodes including the 2 parter '10 Million Dollar Sheriff' which starts on CMT on Tuesday, May 31st, 11pm Eastern time. I'll be curious as to what its like since I have seen most of the other episodes at least 5 times each. The only other episode I don't have recorded off TV on VHS is 'The Dukescam Scam' which debuts on CMT on June 8th. Then my VHS Dukes collection will be complete.

1) The part that is supposed to be in Atlanta really looks like it was filmed in Atlanta (the boys seem to be driving on I-20 into Atlanta near the beginning of the episode, and after they get kicked out of the recording studio the first time, when Bo is formulating his plan to go back in, Mellow Mushroom Pizza (an Atlanta tradition!) can clearly be seen in the background.) Between that and Boss' car being chased on what certainly looked like an Atlanta city street, I'm convinced this portion of the episode happened to be in Atlanta. Does anyone know what streets in Atlanta A) this recording studio/Mellow Mushroom is/was on, and What street Boss is on when he's evading…

This episode bugs me only because of that little boys voice! That voice never sounds right to me when ever I see that episode. Does anyone else have a problem with his voice sounding unnatural? I do like it though when Bo and Luke talk about how it was for them after thier parents died. I like any insight into thier past.

Okay, so i have started to watch the episode when Cooter steals the presidents limo. After the first jump it goes to Luke and Bo. I noticed that it was from the first episode. If you look, Bo is wearing a blue undershirt but when it goes to them right after the jump, he is wearing the brown undershirt from the first episode. Has anyone else noticed that?

Last night I was watching "Dukes In Danger" and brothers cat "Britney" watch it as well. I think she was concerned for Flash when she was watching. A while after I had everything turned off and putaway ,Britney came back to her new favortie seat in the my room (on top of some cd starage cases's) and came back and Looked at like I ready for another episode.

I just seen this one last night, it was one of the funniest chase scens I ever scene . the Best part was with kids practicing Track field and the kids landing in the Boss's car.

Maybe she's crazy, but Jam is convinced that there's an episode where somebody gets locked into Boss's vault at the bank or something like that. Amanda doesn't recall such a thing. Is there an episode where something like this happens?

Hi to all Hazzard fans! Does anyone know if the location of the episode "Lulu's gone away" is a real amusement park? I'd like to know almost everything about locations of Hazzard, because I'd love to go there and see where my favourite show has been filmed! Thank you

What episode is it that Boss Hogg has to hide out in the Duke farm? That one scene where Daisy comes home and finds JD in her bed? I'm just so bad at remembering! I feel bad.

There's an episode somewhere in which Enos falls into a car crusher and Daisy pulls him out, but he's knocked out. Then she says, "Enos, if this don't wake you up, nothing will" and she kisses him. What episode is that in? I thought it'd be an early one, but it wasn't in 1 or 2.

Ok I have an episode in my head and I cant remember all of it or even enough of it to figure out which one it is. Hopefully someone can help though. here are the clues. Bo is for the most part not in it. if he is at all its at the begining and is leaving to go some where. at one point Daisy and Luke are running to catch up with cooters tow truck which is the yellow one with the pitch fork(im pretty sure) on the back if I remember correctly daisy has on a black and white striped shirt but that is iffy. I have seen them all at least twice but I cant get it straight in my head which one that one is. any help is greatly appreciated Derrick

I'm researching a film of my book STuart, a life backwards, to be produced by BBC and HBO this autumn, which features an episode from the Dukes, but I can't remember which one it is. In the scene, Stuart is watching the Dukes on his television and a car shoots into the air off the road, after a watermelon has been dropped on the windscreen from a helicopter, then the car crashes into a shallow lake. Does this ring any bells with anyone? Thank you.

Australian Kristopher Kalnins does not like The Dukes. He blasts it saying "To repetitive of a show. Every episode is the same thing. Rosco chases Dukes. They go someplace and lose him. Dukes try to save farm etc etc." When I chat about the show with him, he says "There you go onslaught me with it again!" According to him "Unsuccessful!" If so, then why'd it last 7 seasons 147 stories?

Can anyone tell me why Bo was not in this episode? I found it really boring with out Bo.

Baa, Baa White Sheep was funny, I thought it was really funny when Boss and Rosco went to jail at the end and Rosco said "This is embarrasing" and Boss was standing there with a mad look on his face just puffing away at his cigar. Abraham Lincoln Hogg was really interesting compared to Boss!!! Poor Daisy when she went in the quick sand we almost lost her... .

This one is one of my favorite Season Four episodes. Not only do you once again have the Dukes and Boss working together, Thackery (sp?) is one of the better adversaries I've seen during the series. Not only does he take the time to study out pretty much everybody and everything in Hazzard County, he's got an almost foolproof plan (I say almost because you know it'll be foiled by Bo and Luke) One noteworthy tidbit: Peters is played by MC Gainey...who's playing Rosco in the big screen movie! I almost fell over when I saw him in the cop car with Jimmie.

I’m sorry, but I’ve always thought it was unrealistic & strange that Boss Hogg’s dad is #1: still alive, but #2: he basically looks to be barely a few years older than Boss. Also, he doesn’t look like the kind of man who would have gotten with Boss’ momma, under any circumstances —going by what we know she looked like, with her portrait Boss has (just sayin’).

I like that one part when Boss Hogg says: "I didn't say Bo! I didn't say Bo! I said "Dough!" I thought that was funny!

Every Duke fan knows about Bo blowing up the outhouse and destroying all Luke's car magazines but here is a scene I was just reminded of, when watching The Return of the Mean Green Machine from season 5. Miz Tisdale was delivering the mail in her dirt bike/sidecar when she came across Enos, who was stranded because mean green had pushed his car in the ditch. Enos hopped in the side car and they didn't get far before Boss and Rosco flagged them down and took the motorcycle. They needed it because Rosco destroyed his sheriff's car with a bazooka. Rosco drove the motorcycle and Boss was in the sidecar firing the bazooka at mean green but had a terrible aim and hit…

I am a TV producer doing a show on John Schneider and was wondering which episode Bo Duke wrestled an alligator in.

I want to ask if someone knows why Bo is missing in some episodes: 2 are in the 6th season ("The fortune tellers" and the one when Dewey Hogg came back pretending to be sick, don't remember the title). The excuse was the Bo was racing in some competition. The other is in the 2nd or 3rd serie and they said he went to spend the week-end in the marines reservation. Someone knows which is the true reason why John wasn't in those episodes? Thanks!

Which episode was it that Bo was largely not in? At the end he called home and talked to the Dukes. I think he was doing something with Nascar.
