On TV This Week

My wife was watching Inside Edition yesterday and called me into the room. They were talking about Paris Jackson's suicide attempt and were interviewing stars about it. As I recall the stars were at some kind of awards show. I'm not sure which one. Anyways, Hazzard County's John Schneider was one of the stars who was interviewed and were wishing Paris a speedy recovery.

Just a heads up ya'll. It looks like Lake Placid 2 will be airing on the SciFi channel on April 28 at 9/8C. John Schneider appears to be one of the main characters from what I can tell.

For any of you Pro Wrestling fans out there, did yall happen to see TNA Thursday night when Cowboy James Storm was giving his promo and he said "Dukes of Hazzard Loving"?

I was flipping through the guide channel and noticed James Best's movie "The Sweeter Side of Life" is on The Hallmark Channel at 9am (EST) tomorrow (Sun) morning. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

In case you haven't heard, The Dukes of Hazzard is now airing weekdays for two hours each evening on TVLand. Check your local listings for dates and times.

I usually wait till after Halloween to start thinking about Christmas but the Lifetime channel is already showing a lot of Christmas stuff including John Schneider's "Poinsettias for Christmas" which I haven't seen yet. It will likely be on quite often. I watched two or three minutes of it tonight but decided to wait until after Halloween for more. It was pretty cool to see Bo.

So on CMT.com, they say there will be another marathon on the 26th. But there is one thing I wonder. Are they doing these marathons just to show them at earlier times or are they trying to finish the series up so they can stop showing it? I want to say there are doing them to get the series over with. My reason: They had all those nights that it should have been on but they didn't. They also went with that long time without showing it. So those are pretty good explanations for it. So what do all of ya think?

CMT will show some of DukesFest during the "Top Twenty Countdown" tomorrow at 4. (It also airs a few more times after that.)

I saw this on the news yesterday, and of course it reminded me of Dukes, especially as it took place in Georgia. The car hit the tow truck ramp at full speed and flew 120 feet (36.5 m). The 21-year-old female driver from Tallahassee survived, but is in hospital. It shows how you must always pay attention when driving.

As I'm typing this I'm also watching "Coal Miner's Daughter" on CMT. It's been a few years since I've last seen it. If any of you have never seen it, you're really missing an amazing story. I was a big Loretta Lynn fan even before she made her appearance on the Dukes of Hazzard but after she was on the show, she quickly became my all-time favorite female country music singer and still is to this day. She's really had an amazing life and is worthy of our admiration and respect. She did such a great job as an actress on the Dukes I wonder why she never did more of that kind of work. I suppose she made more money in music and I suspect she enjoyed it more than acting. …

Tom and John will be on The View together on Wednesday February 20th at 11:00am on ABC. Good news good news!!!

John Schneider is going to be on The Doctors tomorrow morning. They showed a little clip of it this morning and he was defending the Confederate Flag on the Dukes. I am pleasantly surprised that network TV would give him air time to defend the show. Things like this sure help to get Dukes back on the air. The episode will air Thurday May 20 at 9am EST on ABC. Howdy Y'all...I just found out I got a good birthday present! lol... John is goin to be on CSI Feburary 26, 2009(my birthday!) at 9:00 PM eastern time....sorry I dunno the other times...its on CSIguide website...It's episode 914:Kill me if You Can. The guest stars are John and Micheal Weston from House...but woo hoo John! lol...haha...sorry... Well just though Id let y'all know! *The title should say the 26th....not 6th....so 26th...lol.

I was at my parents' house last Friday (I don't have cable at my apartment) watching TV. While searching through the channels, I found "The Dukes of Hazzard" on TV - and not CMT! It was ABC family...it was on at eleven at night - central time. They were playing "Repo Men". I was really surprised to find the Dukes on another channel other than CMT! On the schedule of ABC Family, it shows other listings of the Dukes around midnight, but not every night. I don't know if this was listed other place, but figured I'd place a little note of notices of other sitings of our Dukes. Take care and keep it between the ditches Garrett Duke

Yesterday the Dukes movie (with Johnny Knoxville and Jessica Simpson) was on twice. Hmmm, I think it was IFC....not sure what that stands for. I'm not a fan of the movie but it was still nice to scroll down through the guide channel and see DUKES OF HAZZARD. Maybe someday the series will come back. If they can run the Dukes movie then why not the series? There are only about a trillion worse things on TV.

John Schneider is on a 2008 movie called "Ogre" that is on right now if anybody sees this post tonight. (Saturday March 8...9-11 EST) It is on the SciFi Channel. This Ogre is awesome....great special effects!!

'Trick My What' is premiering this Friday on CMT at 10 pm eastern. I didn't see it posted yet, I am looking forward to seeing it.

Hey y'all, I don't know who here gets the channel, but on 3/24/08 at 3:20 PM and on 3/27 at 12 PM, Eddie Macon's Run is going to be on. The Channel is OMAX. That isn't a typo, it is OMAX.

has anybody heard why they took the dukes off cmt its been since july going on 2 months now i'm a big duke fan anytime other channels would pick this show up like insp or abc family cause cmt wont listen to the fans anyways
