Okay, y'all I got a question. Did Doc Appleby have a first name that we know of? I ask becase I mention it in a story I've been posting and I've had him in other stories before but even I can't remember if I ever used a first name for him! LOL I can't remember for sure one being used on the show so I thought I'd toss the question out there to all y'all in the know! There is a name that comes to mind but...I wanna see what y'all think first. Thanks!

Hey ya'll. Here's a question for ya. Who are your favorite bad guys from Dukes? There were all kinds of them. Funny (Squirt and Bubba), Ugly (Jethro Brothers), Dumb (Laurel and Hardy), and downright scary (that big ol' doberman dog!). Besides the recurring antics of Boss and Rosco, who were worthy advasaries of the Duke boys?

You know, out of all the characters I got along with, it was her that seemed to stick out. Miss Tizdale wasn't any ordinary Grandma/mother figure. No way, she rode the motorcycle like with was nothing. If you wanted to get your mail, you better pull out your ID, it doesn't matter just how long you have known her. I like her little green hat. She would wear these cute little dresses. Miss Tizdale's hair was always up in a bun. So good job, mail lady, it is about time you were given some recognition for the work you do.

I'm wishing there would have been more eps with Sheriff Little, and that we would have got to see some bad-natured rivalry between the Sheriffs of Chickasaw and Hazzard County. I enjoyed Sheriff Little because he had it in for everybody, equally. He had no use for the Dukes, and he couldn't stand Rosco, and he didn't like ol' Boss Hogg. One gets the impression that Sheriff Little didn't like Hazzard County as a whole - or, he was somewhat jealous of it's freewheeling antics. Chickasaw County always seemed like it wasn't any fun. The Queen of country music turns 89 today. She's in poor health but don't believe those internet stories that say she's gone. Loretta is.....and always will be.... my favorite female singer. Her voice is as unique as a voice can get...just like her friend Patsy Cline. When you heard their voices you didn't have to stop and ask who it was. We love you Miss Loretta.

I'd like to see Jeb mentioned more. Does anyone have seens from that show / of him? It was the show about the sword. He is the cousin that was with Bo and Luke when they got caught running the moonshine. He was on Probation with them only he lived in Placid County. In that show he helped Bo and Luke escape by 'taking custody' of them before they were sent to prison by acting like an officer. Dixie

The rumors are true! I've picked up Don Pedro Colley and added him to my roster! Don became interested in acting by accident, after joining some friends for a play rehearsal. He is probably best known for his roles of Gideon in the series, Daniel Boone, in the Beneath the Planet of the Apes film as Ongaro, and as "Sheriff Little" in the TV series, "Dukes of Hazard". I was thinking about this the other day, watching one of the episodes... and to be honest, I wasn't paying attention to which season it was from. But when I was a kid, I used to watch Saved By The Bell. For those of us who have seen or remember the show, you'll note that the actor who played the principal of the school, Dennis Haskins, was also an actor on the Dukes of Hazzard. He played one of the bad guys in one, or a few episodes.. I can't recall if he only appeared once or multiple times. I just found it cool how he turned into a big name actor after a small stint with the Dukes (although I'm sure he obviously had to work his way up even after the Dukes). It's just n…

Coy and Vance were just doing what any actor who has the opportunity to be on a hit TV show would have done. they took the job they did not take john or tom's job, they were pawns of Warner bros. to cohere john and tom to come back to the show. it so happens that john and tom had a legit beef with warner bros. they were getting cheated in money due them on merchandising. as we all were. coy and Vance were brought on the show not to replace them that is impossible anyway but were brought on to make john and tom give into to warner' bros. demands. it was hard for the new guys as the fans resented their dressing and acting like john and tom they were just reading the scripts…

Well, just got through watchin this episode and wondered if anyone else liked it as much as I did... seems to me that poor old Luke meet a new friend in it....Patch....poor Luke Patch picked on him too much.

Ok in the reunion it was said that Buzz and the double 0 were the only one to ever beat the General Lee in an overland race. My question is what was Buzz's last name or did they get it? I haven't watched the reunion in a couple of years and my VCR is down. Help?? Of course we know that the only car to beat the General Lee in the show was Amy's #13 Lucifer! but I'm not sure is they called it an over land race so this may be the difference! Dixie

I must be dense or something but did you know that that kid is the same one who plays the main tall kid whose name I cant remember in the episode The Boars Nest Bears? Please tell me I am not the only one who didn't notice this.. Anyhow, hasn't he grown!! lol He's also got a lot cuter.

It has been reported that Samuel E. Wright has just passed away. He was Enos's police partner in the TV series Enos. Unfortunately, Enos never came out on DVD so only us folks who were lucky enough to see the series when it originally aired know what a great duo Enos and Turk were. I didn't know this but he was also the voice of Sebastian on The Little Mermaid. He was 74 and will be missed.
