Tom Wopat/Luke Duke

This is information I found from various articles from his official website. Well, he was married and divorced twice. He has five children (from oldest to youngest) Lindsay, Adam, Joey, Taylor, and Walker . He's 6'1, his full name is Thomas Steven Wopat, and his ethnic background is Polish. All in all, he's still handsome at 53 (I'm 25 (almost 26) and I'm lusting over someone who's the same age as my uncle).

I posted this under John's section but wanted to cover it here too. Tom and John are in concert together on April 12 & 13 at the Fallsview Casino in Ontario, Canada. The casino website does not yet have tickets on sale. Tom's website, however, confirms the concert. Here's the link to all of Tom's upcoming appearances, as found on his website. I've got the direct link to the casino box office under John's post. I coulda reposted it here, but I like to mix things up. You can get to it from this other link anyway.

Tom did awesome fight scenes? Just wondering which was ya'lls favorite. My favorite is in "Lulu's gone away" at the amusement park.

So how long have y'all be a fan of Tom's/Luke's? My 9 year old daughter is a big Tom fan. She just started watching Dukes this year. When ever she comes here to Hazzardnet, she comments on how John is getting all the attention and not Tom!

Does anyone know where I can find Tom's early albums? The ones from the 80's and early 90's when he sang country music. I have been looking all over the internet and cant find them anywhere. I have been able to find most of John's but cant find Tom's.

Did anyone record it ? I have tons of Dukes related videos & DVD's that I can trade for a copy of Smallville with Tom Wopat. Send me a email for a complete list of my stuff to : PORKYS1982@SBCGLOBAL.NET Thanks , Ben

SMALLVILLE Tom Wopat will reunite with "Dukes of Hazzard" co-star John Schneider, who plays Jonathan Kent on the show, for one episode. Tom plays a childhood friend of Jonathan Kent. This I have to see, I did read somewhere it would be on the 6th episode of the 5th season. Not sure when the new season starts, but it's nice to see two great men reunite in other projects.

I didn't realize until today the musical Chicago is coming to the Benendem Center in Pittsburgh next week. That's a no lose situation, I love live theater, Chicago is one of my favorite musicals AND Tom Wopat. And for twently bucks for the peanut gallery tickets, ya'll know I'll be there. Maybe I can convince him to come perform at our community college theater where I'm Vice President of the Theater Guild. Yeah right. Pendragon

As a huge fan of Tom Wopat (have you not guessed yet!) it has come to my attention over the past few days how different Tom looks now compared to when he was younger. Quite frankly, I can't decide, I like the way he looks both now and then! What about you?

Did you know in that episode Tom took an unexpected Punch and wound up a beauty of a Shiner and to top it all off he had a 2 week headache can you believe that the man who played Catfish Lee hit our man that hard He was left with a bruise on the end of his eyebrow that looked pretty bad.

Tom is going to be on the View June 12th.

Why did Luke Duke always get hurt alot?

Well, my favourite characters is always Bo, but I find Luke very cute when he's worried about his younger cousin, for example in "my son Bo Hogg" and in the 1st episode of the 6th season, when Lulu has been kidnapped, and Bo lays in a roulotte, unconscious

Lazy punk that I am, I copied this tidbit from Tom's newsletter. Just to be honest. ************** Tom Wopat and his band will be performing LIVE at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York City this Monday, June 20th! The performance will be streaming live online, so mark your calendars, set your reminders, and tune in at 7 pm EST to Birdland's Livestream channel. Monday June 20th - 7pm EST / 6pm CST / 4pm PST LiveStream - http://www.livestream.com/birdland

Why was Tom asleep in the General in the beginning of certain episodes ? like in " Sky Bandits Over Hazzard "? cause i remember reading that it takes him awhile to get his motor running Coffee is the only thing he can muster early in the morning so maybe he didn't have his Coffee ?

I really found this funny: Bo and Luke went to Atlanta to get something for Jesse I think.. Anyways Bo and Luke come out of some city building and hop in the General and Bo starts to take off like he always does, FAST. Luke: "Bo!!!" Bo stops and says "What?!?!" Luke: "This ain't Hazzard!!!" I cant remember much about that episode but I remember having a good laugh. If anyone knows the episodes name please let me know I'd love to watch it again. Thanks

I heard from a little bird that Tom is accident prone behind the scenes this was from John's mouth he said that Tom falls down in the bathtub at his home when he is not on the set of Dukes and he has had a number of close calls in real life and on the set of Dukes so I ain't kidding about this.

How many of you watched the two episodes of "Home Improvement" Tom was on? I loved them both and he was so hot!!! I have those episodes saved on my DVR to just watch over and over again.

I didn't know this but on that interview with Tom on the 4th season", he says that he actully read for the part of Bo before he got to play Luke". So what I'm wondering is why did he get the part of Luke and not Bo ? even though I know that they were having trouble finding someone to play Luke I just was wondering how did it end up going to John instead.

This Thursday after Tom gets off stage at Catch Me If You Can, he will be logging on to his Twitter channel to answer your questions! Make sure to follow him here (http://www.twitter.com/wopatofficial), then mark your calendar for Thursday 4/28 at 11pm / 8pm PST. See you there!

I got this from the Wopat webcrew this morning. Update as of 1/7/2013. Got this from Susan. Hi Kimberly! Just wanted to let you know that the preoder will be launching a bit later this week now. hey everyone im a new dukes fan, just wanted to ask a quick question. when Tom appeared in cybill did his character have a dog called duke?.

I have acquired quite a collection of Tom's music over the past six months, including alot of his old country stuff (which is briliant!). Has anyone heard the 'live' version of "Road Home" that Tom has done somewhere along the road? I have it and it's my favourite of all! I'm just wondering if anyone else knows it?

Hi Happy Birthday Tom ,I hope you have a wounderful Day. Love Ya

I found this some where else and thought it was cute... 1 THING I LEARNED FROM THE DUKES OF HAZZARD Welding the doors of your car shut increases your coolness. You can't sit there and tell me that you didn't think the way Bo and Luke got in and out of the General Lee wasn't cool. Opening and closing the door like a normal person just wasn't good enough for these guys... they had to weld the doors shut and keep the windows rolled down to get in and out. The conventional way just takes too long! Bo and Luke were masters of the art of getting into a car through the window. Once these guys started doing it, soon everybody was foregoing the time-consuming steps of actually o…
