i know its posted around here, but search revealed around 600 odd responses, anybody remember what his cb name was?

One of Rosco's famous lines is, "Shame, shame, everyone knows your name." Does he say this line in either of the first two seasons? I don't recall hearing it when I watched the DVD.

Does anyone know how to mimic or act like Rosco? Thought it'll be cool.

The original "Killer Shrews" movie of 1959 was...well, so dang bad, it became a cult classic. James Best starred in the original movie, which is reason enough to watch it if you get the chance. Anyone seen this movie? I caught bits of it yesterday on TCM. Along with James Best being in it, it looks like a generally really good movie. OK, heres a place to give it up for Rosco. Anything that you thought was good of him or that he did well..... For me, I'd like to say Way to go Rosco for: Never giving up being smart enough to make all those contraptions and inventions to get the boys, They were awsome and smart, but never worked. (thats ok) these things don't need to have worked, just something you think Rosco should get props for.... since he never got it from Boss, or anyone else for that matter.

I sent him an email a few days ago, which 'm gonna share what it said, and then I'm gonna share what James said. Well, I'm not going into big depth and detail, but I basically said I was a huge fan of his, and I think he and Sorrell Booke were the REAL dynamic duo. Just today I found this small interview/documentary from a Dutch TV show from 2002/2003 where they visit James Best. This was during the time the TV channel Veronica started re-airing the show which seemed to be quite a big deal. Thought it would be interesting to share. There's some parts which are in Dutch but most is English with some dutch subtitles or interesting video.

I figured this would be the place to gush about James's other works. Has anyone seen The Andy Griffith Show? He was in two of those episodes and I watch them repeatedly. I don't know how to explain it. The man just gets to me. In a good way. Hooper, of course, as Cully. God, I can watch that movie and watch his scenes repeatedly and not get tired of him.
