When the Dukes originally aired my buddies and I were all around nine or ten years old. At that age (boy have times changed) you still were at the age where most of us weren't quite old enough to appreciate girls yet (and most of the girls thought all the boys had cooties lol). WHo misses that car, that Bo and Luke had to run off of the cliff, i know i do, that car was awsome, but i guess the plot had a good reason do take it out of the "cast" if you will.

I just spent 4 days in Cleveland and was looking through one of the city's promotional brochures. They listed famous Clevanders in alphabetical order of their last names. Catherine Bach was the first one listed. Needless to say I was pretty excited to see that......even though they did spell Hazzard with only one Z.

I was thinking about other people who could have been Daisy Duke and one name I am thinking of is Dana Delany, the star of "China Beach". She was 22 when "The Dukes of Hazzard" was cast, so she could have been cast. However, there are things that could have prevented her from being cast, besides Catherine Bach. Ms. Delany was barely out of college at that time and didn't have any experience in front of the camera as far as I know.
