Oh Roger, that’s not good news at all. Shoot, anything they can do for it? Also thanks for the belated wishes And I didn’t know about that actually, been meaning to look into the animated series more. I know a box set was released by Warner Bros at one time, of the cartoon series. Not sure if it’s still in print or not.

Basically the same thing, celebrating the date of our founding as a nation, July 1st 1867.
-
Howdy y’all, forgot to post this yesterday but how was your 4th of July? What did you do to celebrate? Hope it was a great one! Yee-Haw!

Sorry for the late replies folks, well here in my area, we often throw quite a bash. Rubber Duck Races, Community Wide BBQ, Community Breakfast (early morning) and even a fireworks show after the day is done, just to name a few things. Normally I’m right in the thick of things but this year I had to take a step back because I wasn’t too good health wise. Did still see the fireworks show though

Not too sure honestly hmm….

I’ll be sure to give it a try! Thanks again cousin

Does your hometown remind you of Hazzard County?
Tom Duke replied to LoriDavenport's topic in General Discussion
My hometown is a lot like Hazzard to me, it’s very cozy and close knit, kind of everyone knows everyone sort of vibe. We have a lot of community events, Canada Day, Labour Day (with a parade that runs through the Main Street) and to top off the Hazzard connection, we actually have our very own Boars Nest! The owner is actually referred to as “Boss Hogg” by a lot of people round here too. -
Currently been battling a sinus infection and it migrated to my chest. Been battling it for 3 weeks now.. Wish it would just take a hike. On a positive note, I did wake up this morning feeling better but still stuffy in my nose and a bad cough. Nothing worse than a summer illness y’all

I tried my first beer earlier in the year. Not sure if I mentioned it before lol, Busch Light.. not a huge fan of the taste right off, but that’s only one beer, there are a lot of different brews. Wouldn’t mind just finding something I can stick in a can cooler for a summers day, sit out on my porch and enjoy.

Oh yeah for sure, perfect for that. John Anderson is another favourite of mine.

In 1969, a little Volkswagen with a mind of his own, was introduced to the world in the movie - The Love Bug. Featuring main actors Dean Jones, Michelle Lee, Buddy Hackett David Tomlinson This movie is a Disney classic, and one of the first movies I remember watching as a kid. Way back on VHS. (Showing my age a little bit lol) But it really fired up my imagination, I think I was maybe 3-5 years old and I had an old toy car, wasn’t even a Volkswagen and I knocked together a little Herbie. Was wondering does anyone else remember this great movie?

Howdy y’all, this is just a little thread I wanted to create to help us walk down memory lane, we all remember Dukes, but what other shows did you grow up with as a kid? Interested to see what people grew up with and remember

Duck Dynasty - The Revival now airs weekly on A&E. (Sundays at 9/8c)

Honestly a pretty good comedy series, I’m rather familiar with it as the reruns air quite frequently here. Sheldon is the heart and soul of the show, but they all contribute to its overall success. The writing is great too!

Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians here on HazzardNet 🇨🇦 Hope it’s a great one for everyone, take care y’all! God bless and sincerely, Tom Duke 🇨🇦

I can’t believe it in a sense, but there it is. Rick Hurst has crossed the creek on that rainbow bridge, now not only reunited with his kinfolk, but also a lot of the Dukes family who’ve gone on before him. I’m saddened I never got to meet him, I think it would have been fun to know him. God bless y’all. Tom Duke

Anyone on here remember the show Hee Haw? Presented by Buck Owens & Roy Clarke, and featuring a great variety cast and awesome sketch comedy. Back in the good old days when the whole family could gather round the television.. I may just be 23, but discovering the show on YouTube and then finding a channel that airs reruns in Canada really got me onto it!

Anyone here in Eastern Ontario, or Canada? Would love to connect and chat with some more Dukes fans here in Canada!
