  1. It’s great they managed to save the original General Lee.
  2. Currently been battling a sinus infection and it migrated to my chest. Been battling it for 3 weeks now.. Wish it would just take a hike. On a positive note, I did wake up this morning feeling better but still stuffy in my nose and a bad cough. Nothing worse than a summer illness y’all
  3. I tried my first beer earlier in the year. Not sure if I mentioned it before lol, Busch Light.. not a huge fan of the taste right off, but that’s only one beer, there are a lot of different brews. Wouldn’t mind just finding something I can stick in a can cooler for a summers day, sit out on my porch and enjoy.
  4. Oh yeah for sure, perfect for that. John Anderson is another favourite of mine.
  5. In 1969, a little Volkswagen with a mind of his own, was introduced to the world in the movie - The Love Bug. Featuring main actors Dean Jones, Michelle Lee, Buddy Hackett David Tomlinson This movie is a Disney classic, and one of the first movies I remember watching as a kid. Way back on VHS. (Showing my age a little bit lol) But it really fired up my imagination, I think I was maybe 3-5 years old and I had an old toy car, wasn’t even a Volkswagen and I knocked together a little Herbie. Was wondering does anyone else remember this great movie?
  6. Howdy y’all, this is just a little thread I wanted to create to help us walk down memory lane, we all remember Dukes, but what other shows did you grow up with as a kid? Interested to see what people grew up with and remember

    Duck Dynasty

Duck Dynasty - The Revival now airs weekly on A&E. (Sundays at 9/8c)
  8. Honestly a pretty good comedy series, I’m rather familiar with it as the reruns air quite frequently here. Sheldon is the heart and soul of the show, but they all contribute to its overall success. The writing is great too!
  9. Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians here on HazzardNet 🇨🇦 Hope it’s a great one for everyone, take care y’all! God bless and sincerely, Tom Duke 🇨🇦
  10. I can’t believe it in a sense, but there it is. Rick Hurst has crossed the creek on that rainbow bridge, now not only reunited with his kinfolk, but also a lot of the Dukes family who’ve gone on before him. I’m saddened I never got to meet him, I think it would have been fun to know him. God bless y’all. Tom Duke
  11. All good Cousin, I always try to swing by to make sure we catch up when I can though,
  12. Hey y’all, just thought I’d swing by to tell you I got myself a YouTube channel, feel free to sub up! Thanks! - Tom Duke

    Hee Haw!

Anyone on here remember the show Hee Haw? Presented by Buck Owens & Roy Clarke, and featuring a great variety cast and awesome sketch comedy. Back in the good old days when the whole family could gather round the television.. I may just be 23, but discovering the show on YouTube and then finding a channel that airs reruns in Canada really got me onto it!
  14. Anyone here in Eastern Ontario, or Canada? Would love to connect and chat with some more Dukes fans here in Canada!
  15. Rose of Sharon is always a beautiful plant. Been doing a lot of spring cleaning in the past 24 hours, you’d be amazed the stuff you can haul out of storage, that you probably forgot you had! LOL..

  18. That’s pretty neat about Tom T Hall, I’ve been listening to old country classics a lot lately. Anyone know the song - Teddy Bear, by Red Sovine? 🧸 It’s a beauty but it’s a sad one
  19. Well bless my soul, I’m a little late but happy birthday Roger! Hope it was a great one!
  20. Daisy Dukes
  21. I believe that General is a plastic one, from the 2005 movie. I found it like that in a thrift store, he’s a little beat up in spots before I got em. They dug up my street a while back, and I couldn’t resist taking some shots, when the construction team got done for the day!
