We had temperatures well below freezing about two weeks ago, but Christmas day is quite mild here (10°C/50°F) although a friend of mine had a brief power cut yesterday during a heavy thunder storm.
Happy Christmas everyone, and Happy Birthday to Meadowmufn.

It wouldn't be all capitalized in British English - for acronyms over two/three letters, generally only the first letter is capitalized, e.g. UK, USA, Nascar, Nasa etc. Sometimes this looks weird because I'm used to seeing them all in capitals on American sites.
The MEETING
Can we please stick to the alphabet in the order that we all learned it?! There have also been recent requests by myself and Roger to put the word you're playing in CAPITAL letters as it makes it easier for the next player - these requests seem to have fallen on deaf ears!
Correct. He continued to play Harry in 16 episodes of the follow-up TV series of the same name. He died in 1991 at the age of 35 after contracting AIDS from a blood transfusion. The part of Harry was then played by two other actors for the remainder of the series. Kevin Peter Hall also played the predator in 'Predator'. He was 7' 2½" (2.2 m) tall.
There's a saying in Hazzard that there are three things folks can be certain of. ;

and Bo and Luke Duke being chased by Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane.
I think that some of the movie ranches belonged to individual studios, while others were rented out to various companies. The first couple of Californian seasons were filmed at Golden Oak Ranch which belonged to Disney. The Valencia Oaks location is about four miles south of Six Flags Magic Mountain near Santa Clarita. Golden Oak Ranch is on the other side of Santa Clarita. Both are roughly 20 miles north of the Warner backlot.
I don't have a grab of that episode, but here's one I posted in my fanart thread for Daisy's Jeep.
Twelve years ago yesterday, Roger commented, "By the way, that's a pretty bad Uncle Jesse wig on that stunt man's head. Couldn't they have found something whiter?"
It could almost be Scanlon disguised as a farmer from 'Enos's Last Chance'.
It was definitely short for Caterpillar, that's why I put the winking face afterwards. Caterpillar used to have a dealership on the way in to Dublin where they'd pose a couple of large earth movers at the entrance. I also have a pair of Caterpillar boots.
Here's one link I found to a previous question about the Roadrunner's reappearance in season 3. I'm sure we've covered the topic multiple times, but maybe it was within other topics.

Have a dig around - even if you don't find that, there's plenty of Dukes trivia and info to keep a fan amused!
Season 2 episodes were shown out of sequence when they originally aired, e.g. Daisy's Roadrunner reappears after it went over the cliff. We've covered this several times on the forum, but as I'm off to bed, I'll have to look out the links tomorrow, unless someone beats me to it.
Another day, another obituary. Yesterday we lost Fleetwood Mac member and solo artists Christine McVie at the age of 79. She was one of eight members of the band inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
I've posted 'Songbird' before, but it was back in 2011, and out of my limited choice of one word song titles in her collection, it's the most well-known.
