  1. Chips I assume you went for "fish" because they live in the ocean rather than Billy the Fish, a cartoon strip in long-running British comic Viz!
  2. Plymouth FURY A favorite of the Hazzard PD.
  3. Very well explained video. I was was amused that someone so skilled in 3D computer design would use a cardboard template for the chassis extension!
  4. Yellow PINE Construction Company
  5. Boss IRONS his bank notes because he "just can't stand wrinkled money".

Because the Chinese Grand Prix was cancelled, we've had a 4 week wait for an F1 race! This weekend things get back to normal with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from Baku. Due to there being a sprint race today (Saturday), qualifying was completed on Friday. In their first runs of the final session, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc set identical lap times of 1:40.445. If these had stayed unchanged, Max would've taken pole as he set the time first, but Charles set a faster time on his last try to claim his third Baku pole in a row.

  15. Ireland's American car show missed a couple of years due to a certain virus, and wasn't at full strength last year, so yesterday was my first time attending for several years. There was a good turnout, and probably the most Mustangs I've ever seen together, from very early models up to one about a year old. Sadly, there was no General Lee, although I'm sure I saw the owner of the car that I sat in all those years ago. The Road Runner seen above was back again, and this year the Starsky and Hutch collection had grown to three cars, with the owner of one surprising people with its siren. Considering that I've been to a few of these events, and that Ireland is a relatively small place, I was pleased to see a lot of vehicles that I haven't seen before, including an A-Team van. Even a brief shower of rain couldn't spoil the enjoyment of my corn dog!
  16. At 68, isn't he allowed to retire? I'm not saying he has retired, but plenty of other people do by that age. His last listed acting credit was 'Salvage Yard Shine Boys' in 2021. It was directed by Christopher Hensel AKA. Jeb Stuart Duke.
  17. At least the money's going to a good cause. BTW. The McLaren F1 supercar had a price tag of around $1m when it was on sale in the '90s - they now fetch over $20m, so the Corvette may not be a bad long-term investment.
  18. "Order INK. Lots of INK." Manny the counterfeiter in 'Repo Men'.
  19. I've never noticed the phrase before, but I've found a few references online. From urbandictionary.com: A midwestern colloquialism meaning that you could even drive a person who had no manner of sensory perception up the wall because you are beyond all natural levels of irritating. From lifeblogcarpediem.wordpress.com: Across the years, I’ve occasionally used an expression that is a fair assessment for someone who has the propensity to go on and on when you were actually done with the conversation fifteen minutes earlier. I describe it as: “She could drive a wooden man crazy.” From city-data.com: My Granny said, "I swan" which resembled "I declare!" She also said about something annoying, "That would drive a wooden man crazy." I use that one myself.
  20. I don't think that information is on HazzardNet, but we had a member looking for a Vance doll in a 2012 thread, and that contains a link to an article at megomuseum.com which gives very detailed descriptions of the various Dukes dolls. It includes how they just made new heads for Coy and Vance and stuck with the original Bo and Luke packaging.
