John Quade played Augie Detweiller in 'Hazzard Connection'. As you said, he also made several movie appearances alongside Clint Eastwood, including Westerns 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' and 'High Plains Drifter', and he was Chola, the hapless leader of the Black Widows biker gang in 'Every Which Way But Loose' and 'Any Which Way You Can'. I posted a picture of him as Chola and Augie several years ago in the trivia thread. Speaking of Clint Eastwood's co-stars from 'Any Which Way You Can', don't forget that his big fight rival Jack Wilson was played by William Smith who was Jason Steele in '10 Million Dollar Sheriff'.

I'm guessing that I have 15-20 of his movies myself. BTW. Guzman is the drug lord who gets shot in his penthouse while Frank DiGiorgio and his partner have him under surveillance.

Clifford A. Pellow (as Cliff Pellow) played Quirt McQuade in 'Mary Kaye's Baby'. I'll have to keep an eye out for him next time I watch 'Magnum Force' (he played Guzman).

I'm not sure if Sanford and Son was ever shown in the UK, although I've watched a couple of episodes online (including 'The Piano Movers' which featured Rick Hurst as a police officer). It's quite different to the original UK show Steptoe and Son on which it's based. One obvious difference is that Steptoe and Son had a horse and cart rather than a pickup truck. There are probably several reasons. Firstly, I think my set came out in 2011 (it might be a later repackage as the original used full-size cases and mine uses the slimmer ones), so the distribution companies likely only have a certain number of years in their contract. When the new company takes over, they realise they can reduce their costs by compressing the video and squeezing more episodes onto fewer discs (mine has three episodes per disc like my Dukes set). Secondly, the US and Europe use different TV systems (NTSC and PAL), so the TV shows have to be converted when they cross the Atlantic.

No, both of mine are by a company called Playback (they also distribute a lot of UK TV shows on DVD). It looks like the new one is a 20 disc set by a company called Fabulous.

That's a bargain. I think my 26 disc set was either €30 or £30 (I can't remember whether I got it here or in the UK) when I bought it many years ago. I don't know if the same happened over the lockdown in the US, but I noticed that some boxsets got repackaged with no additional extras and their prices more than doubled. Maybe the distributors changed, but the Knight Rider boxset is now €90 (€120 for the Blu-Ray). I managed to get the complete Knight Rider reboot series for €2 from a second hand store a couple of weeks ago.
