  1. Chicago vs. Dallas on Monday night. We still have a bit left on the Applebee's gift card my mom sent us, so we'll probably catch a bit of the game then.
  2. Very fitting, Hoss. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I love Mancini and Andy sang it beautifully. Moon River is one of my favorites. RIP Andy.
  3. Thanks, Rog. That first post was a little premature. Still had some problems, but it looks like I may have fixed things as of yesterday evening. It's been 20 hours since I've seen any symptoms of the issues the site was having. You all probably didn't notice much, but I was seeing the disk space fill up fast on the backend due to these errors. Well, that's a load off my mind... and the server. LOL.
  4. Grumble, grumble. I know you guys haven't seen me around much lately, but I've been here, in the background, putting out fires and restarting the server a bazillion times (it seems). So, if you've smelled any smoke around HazzardNet, that was me! LOL. For quite some time, I've been trying to track down some issues with the new server that have been driving me nuts. If any of you notice any slowness on the site, error messages, etc, please post about them here. If you can PM me and copy/paste any error messages you get, I'd appreciate that, too. I *think* I may have fixed the latest issue that was filling up the hard disk with errors (fingers crossed), but I'm not sure yet. Time to go to bed. I'm on my second overnighter in a row working on this server. On a strange side note, when we first moved HNet to the new server, the chatroom was broken and I never got around to fixing it. It's now miraculously working now. Apparently, HazzardNet is self-healing... except for this one other issue I can't figure out. LOL.
  5. Thanks! Gonna try to get to Applebee's on Monday night and watch the game there while we eat. :)

  6. I'm sorry. One hard and fast rule we have here on HazzardNet, and that all of us mods adhere to strictly, is that you must NEVER go off topic. LOL. Looking forward to what you come up with!
  7. I know. Yay! Unfortunately, the Seahawks games are the only ones we can watch, since we get them over the antenna.

  8. Go Seattle Seahawks! I hope they do as well in the regular season as they did pre-season. Unfortunately, I won't get to watch it since we dropped cable tv last week.
  9. I'm really hoping they're just giving it a rest for now and will re-introduce the show to great fanfare like they've done before.
  10. Congrats and a belated happy birthday!
  11. A little something for the ladies. An 8x10 photo of John Schneider shirtless: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110945899184 Don't worry, fellas. I'll have some Daisy stuff for sale too.
  12. Times are tough. I hate to do it, but I have to part with some of my Dukes of Hazzard collection to pay the bills. I'll be selling these items on ebay and posting the links to the listings here. First up, it's my Dukes of Hazzard board game. The ebay auction listing is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110945820835 If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here. Sorry international fans, I'm only shipping to the US.
  13. One time, the maintenance man sandblasted moss and stuff off our back deck at the apartment complex we were living at at the time. The wood was so rotted that he removed more than just moss. First time I walked on the deck after he was done, my leg went straight through. Funny thing, my family was visiting and I was showing them our new place. They weren't impressed with the deck. LOL. Got a nice ugly bruise, but fortunately I wasn't too badly hurt.
  14. Welcome back, BoJames!
  15. FYI, this thread has been cleaned of images from jake01 because he appears to have deleted them from his photobucket account, so they no longer show. His "What If Cars" thread has been deleted for the same reason. Also, he (or someone accessing his account) has left messages saying he has been banned for being a thief. Nobody at HazzardNet has banned him for anything and nobody has accused him of theft. However, if accusations or behavior like that continues, we WILL ban him. Just wanted to set the record straight.
  16. If y'all haven't already figured it out, Hoss is the man.
  17. Congrats, Tim. Well deserved.
  18. Sorry to break it to you, but Jimmie didn't play the guitar in the Andy Griffith episodes. He faked it. The close-ups of the playing may have been jazz guitarist Herb Ellis, who played Bobby Fleet in the second episode Jimmie was in, "The Guitar Player Returns", but I can't confirm that.
  19. He was in The Grave, Jess-Belle, and The Last Rites of Jeff Myrtlebank.
  20. I would have to agree with Hoss. I think we should have a separate Facebook fan of the month. Facebook is much different than HNet and the level of participation is too. You have only to look at the detail in some of the HazzardNet threads to realize that (the trivia thread, Hoss' locations thread, etc). HNet contributions are much more substantial. Besides, if we recognize someone on FB for a particular contribution that occurred months or even just weeks ago, how are you going to find it on Facebook? FB is a little more ethereal. Everything on HNet is readily available with a handy dandy search function, so folks can look up particular contributions easily. I definitely think we should have separate fans of the month.
  21. I'm still a tad more than a decade from 49 and I was getting stuff from AARP 10 years ago. LOL! The biggest problem I have with them is they keep circulating that article about Robert Culp's death. He's been dead two years already...
  22. LOL. I think I may know what (censored) is.
  23. I know for me, it's too far away, too expensive, and I have lots of other higher priorities right now.
