Jeb jolted up and said,"Ya mean you got some and I didn't? You suck!" Bo managed to get himself picked up, Luke lay back on his bunk and finally went to sleep. That next morning, Lori woke up and dressed a little better today. She took her shower, had her morning sickness and headed to the jail before her class. When she left to go to the jail she climbed out whislting Dixie. She walked down and saw Luke glaring at Rosco, Rosco smiling, Lori saw the yelloe line and looked to Luke,"See there thats what ya get fer not controling yerself!" Luke glared at her and simply said, "Ahhhh, YEAH!" then grinned ear to ear! Lori laughed, sh walked in and sat down shaking her head at the line. Luke asked,"So uhh Hows Uncle Jesse REALLY??" Lori sighed,"Well honey... to be honest..no one wants to go to jail, BUT he's like us he wants ya'll outta here as bad as we do, he's leaving the farm to me and Daisy and Coy and Vance..." Luke mumbled something about Vance and then smiled to Lori. Lori looked to the clock and sighed,"Gotta go to that class my beloved blabbermouthed cousin signed me up fer!" Luke looked to Lori,"Ahhh B.L.'s doings huh?" Lori laughed,"I said blabber mouth didn't I?" Luke laughed. Lori saw her opportunity and jumped across the line kissing Luke telling him she loved him and hopefully saw him later. Luke laughed watchin gher dash up the stairs and out of the jail, he watched her climb in. Rosco heard Lori who was outside but he could still be heard,"Ok...that was a warnin-- dont cross that line again!!" He was out of breath just trying to get up and climb up the stiars he was too tired to fight with anyone. Lori laughed and went to her class. Lori sighed and leaned up against the bars weak at her knees,"Baby I know its killing you and its killing me..." Lori took his hand and looked around, Bo and Jeb were asleep and the officer was leaned back in the chair. Lori led his hand to show him what she meant. Luke felt Lori's need too. He left his hand there rubbing her. He closed his eyes and bit his lip really hard trying to keep what little control he still held onto at this moment. Luke's breathing was coming in short gasps, his eyes half closed. Luke knew if he continued he'd embarrass Lori, but she seemed not to care, and then it happened....she was "relieved" Lori gasped more loudly than expected and bout hit the ground on her knees, quivering. Lori still had her hand on Luke and she squeezed. Luke's eye opened wide with suprise at her sudden squeeze. He gasped loudly, almost going to his knees and the sudden relief. "Oh God." He whispered. Lori's hand became wet as did Luke's jeans. There was no denying what had happened. The officer looked to the two and said,"Alright Alright there will be none of that while Im on duty.. " Lori smiled and kissed Luke whispering in his ear,"Finally...." Luke knew what she meant, even if they didn't go ALL they way they still shared that moment together. Lori kissed him again telling her she loved him and she headed up to the top, going home. She climbed in and pulled out, smiling. Luke never got to ask her about Uncle Jesse he would tomorrow though. The officer looked to him and shook her head,"Ya know I couldve helped ya out better than she could." Luke looked the 'lady' dead in the eyes and replied, "You know what you did for MY cousin the other night. I thought it was funny then. I happen to know all about it. I also know that kind of 'contact' with us inmates is illegal. Now that was MY wife. We were married less than a week when I was arrested. I'm not looking to get home anytime real soon and by God if I can help her get through all this you bet I will. And, 'lady' you ain't got A thing that interests ME!" She looked to him and said,"Well if I would have caught you two a few mintues ago you bet I would have interested you!" Luke snorted and smirk,"What ya gonna do..LOCK ME UP?" Bo heard that and fell of the top bunk laughing, Luke had embarrased her..she sat down and shut up. A) Bo hit his head and thought Boss was his Uncle.

Lori walked up and looked back to him, he was worried to death and she saw it.it was written all over his expression. She sighed and wondered how she was ever gonna get out this deal with Boss. She sighed and went out to Midnight climbing in and burning rubber. Luke sighed and only prayed she'd be alright. Bo and Jeb patted his shoulders and sighed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori had changed and went to the site to make the shine, hours later she had the shine made and loaded up. She thought of Luke and looked to her stomach and climbed in. She pulled out heading to Osage County. When she crossed the county line she slowed down like a normal driver would drive, she made to her destination at a railroad crossing and she waited. A man pulled up and paid her, she hurridley unloaded the shine. He nodded and waved going back through Osage. Lori turned Midnight around and sped off. As she was coming across the line she heard a POP! She knew it exactly, a flat! Great! now she was late and poor old Luke would be going into fits! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was late and Luke was ancy hopping around the cell like a barefoot jack rabbit on a hot rock. He got up for the tenth time and walked to the window. He said to no one in particular, "Da-- IT!!! She's late." Bo looked to Luke,"How do you know that?" Luke pointed to the sun,"The sun is there everyday at 3:00... she left early this morning, takes a couple hours to mke the shine and to load it. Plus the hour it takes to get there and the drive back..... she was here at 8:00 this morning she should have been back two hours ago. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori in the meantime was fightin with the bolts on the car hub. "DA** IT!! YOU DA**ED RETARDED THANGS!!! COME OFF THERE!!" She finally got them out and had to chase a straying bolt down! Then, she quickly changed the tire. She climbed in and sped towards the square. It was yet another hour for she got there. Luke was pulling his hair out. Lori squealed the car around the square at least two times she knew of. Pulling up to the jail house, seeing a blonde woman officer there. She looked confused and looked to Luke. Luke.........

Hey General Grant, yes I do love to learn about the civil war, one of my past times actually, its a pretty interesting thing to study on considering it wasn't over lsavery, it was more or less over Economics.

Daisy was about to be in tears, she ran to hug Uncle Jesse. Coy and Vance sighed and both agreed nodding,"Yes' sir Uncle Jesse.." Lori shook her head and looked to Uncle Jesse,"Yes sir..." Uncle Jesse looked to her and said,"I wont be here probably for the birth of that youngin....but, i KNOW ill be here to help it grow..." Lori wanted to cry but only nodded and looked to the clock,"Guys Im gonna head back to the jail house to see Luke... I ran out on him today cause I had to run an errand." Jesse looked to her and nodded, getting suspicious himself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori went their bedroom and and changed into some more comfortable jeans, and a white tank top, she pulled on a over it a hoodie and dabbed her favorite perfume on, she knew Luke loved the smell of it. When she left and pulled up to the jail Dixie hadn't made it there yet. Lori got out and went down. Luke was still fit to be tied. Lori saw him and knew he knew something. Luke saw her and went to the bars, Rosco had went upstairs to give them privacy, ALL three of them jumped her. "WHAT IN THE HE** ARE YOU THINKIN MAKIN A TRIP LIEK THAT? SAME REASON AS TA WHY WE'RE HERE AND YOU TURN AROUND AND DO IT?! AINT YOU GO TNO SENSE?!!" Lori jumped a little and looked to them,"Wooo here now fellers, I aint making THOSE kinda trips!! I aint that dumb! I was making a run to the house fer that danged class im taking! calm down here now!!" Luke looked to her and saw the "truth" in her eyes.... truth was she was lying, but Luke didn't know it. Lori looked to Luke and shook her head,"Ya'll gone delirious in here!" Bo whimpered,"You have no idea!" Jeb agreed, Luke held Lori through the bars, Lori could hear some foot steps coming down the stairs, she looked up them and saw the one and only double crossin cousin of hers, no not B.L., Dixie! Dixie stopped dead, crap it her plan wasn't going to work..she'd have to lead Jeb on more now. She sighed and didn't speak to Lori, Luke didn't pay all that much attention to Dixie, cause she wasn't dressed up. As a matter of fact, Lori wasn't either but, if he did look to Dixie, Lori would kill him! Lori sighed and just sat there her head leaned agaisnt the bars on his. Lori couldn't help it, but she had to lie to Luke...she couldn't tell him that she WAS running shine. Lori sighed and had fallen asleep in his arms. Dixie was watching them, tears were starting to form in her eyes, Jeb looked to her and smiled, kissing her cheek. Dixie smiled and didn't want to hurt Jeb, truth was, he was a sweet guy and very attractive, but not as attractive as Luke. The clock had struck around 8:00 p.m..Rosco came down and looked to the two girls who looked asleep, Luke was combing out Lori's hair with his fingers, Jeb doing Dixie the same way. Rosco made a noise to let the girls know time was up. Lori sighed and squeezed Luke through the bars, not wanting to let go, she smiled to him and kissed him telling him bye and he loved her. Dixie sighed and told Jeb bye going up first. Lori went up and sighed she never spoke to Dixie or looked to her, climbed in Midnight and left. When she got home, she walked in and saw everyone in the living room setting and all. Lori walked in and looked to Jesse,"It gets harder and harder fer me to go there and see all them in there, its gonna be even harder to see you Uncle Jesse.." Lori smiled and they stood there just hugging each other. Lori heard Boss upstairs and banged her head on the bar,"I gotta go honey....I got a TRIP to make." Luke knew something was up and he soon suspected,"Lori.....we need to talk..later, and just WERE are you going? Lori!" Lori was practically running up the stairs. She got up and saw Boss, Bos gave a slight nod, Lori was out the door and in Midnight Rider. Boss had left her a note telling her the size of the load, thank god it was small. Lori sped towards the farmhouse, Boss didn't have to leave directions to one of his sights, she already knew where all of them were. She pulled up at the sight and got out the recipe for the shine. The crates and jugs were there, she sighed beginning to make shine once more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`` Luke however wasn't at all thrilled and he wanted to know exactly WHAT trip she was making, Boss was still atop and so he hollered to Boss...... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dixie went to the Duke farm seeing Daisy there. She smiled and walked over to her in the house, Lori wasn't home yet. Shesmiled and said," Daisy I need to talk to you.." Daisy bout knew about what and smiled nodding. Suppertime rolled around and Lori had made her delivery, simple as that. She had known from her great-great grandpa and Uncle Jesse and the boys, she was a quick study and knew her stuff. When she pulled in, she sighed and walked in seeing Dixie and Daisy at the kitchen table, some what surprised her for some odd reason. Daisy gulped and went,"Ohhh Dear.." Dixie sighed and shook her head. Lori rolled her eyes and went to her's and Luke's room, changing into some more comfortable clothes, she had brung her horse there from Burl Tolliver's place, a chocolate colored, blonde maned rocky mountain. She went back outside and went to the barnm whistling to him, when he trotted up to her she smiled and tacked him up, climbing on she took off on him. Uncle Jesse saw her from the back 40 and sighed. Lori emptied the food and ran to the bathroom. When she got through she came out and sighed, she went back to her's and Luke's room getting dressed for her doc's visit. She didn't have a chance to see B.L. to cuss her out for that class. Lori got dressed and left going to the class. ~~~~~~ Luke from the cell had watched her hearing the engine. She pulled up and went in. Today they were learning how to shop for yer newborn... Ironic wasn't it? After the hour and a half class was over Lori left and went to the Doc's. The Doc Appleby looked to Lori,"Im very sorry to hear about Luke and the others being locked up, but congrats on the baby and marriage though." Lori nodded and smiled, laying back on the table getting a regular physical first, The doc got the wand after putting the jelly on her stomach, and could see the baby. He smiled,"That baby is as healthy as a horse, HE is doing fine.." Lori gasped and smiled,"Really? awww!! Luke'll be happy!" Doc nodded and smiled. Lori was done about 5 mintues later. She smiled and left going to the jail. When she got there Luke was leaning up against the wall, she smiled and hoped down on the bottom step,"Luke!!! I got great news!!" Luke looked to Lori and jumped a little smiling to her,"What honey?" Rosco wa quick and up letting her in as she dashed over to his cell and hugged him and kissed him through the bars,"Guess what?" Luke looked to her and smiled,"What?" Lori giggled and answered,"We're having a Boy!" luke....

Lori wasn't liking this conversation she folded her arms and sighed,"Boss, if you want me to run i will, I'll make my own... it's not exactly like Uncle Jesse's, but it comes pretty da** well close to it, considering ym great-great grandfather and Jesse ran together, I won't use Uncle Jesse's recipe OR his already made products OR his still sights, cause you've got some sights of yer own AND you have the contracts to them...you already get 50% of the profits made... Hogg now tell me if you want me to run or NOT?!" Boss Hogg nodded and said,"Since Bo, Luke, and Jeb are locked away leaving only you left, sides the other Dukes, yer one of the quick and wittiest drivers there is left here in Hazzard, its a deal..." Lori looked around and said,"Well??" Boss nodded and told her,"You start tomorrow night....say after suppertime at the yer farm??" Lori sighed and nodded, she turned around and was about half way out the door,"AND remember Mrs. Duke, if you squeal on me about doing this.... you'll go to the Federal Penetentiary for awhile." Lori rolled her eyes and walked out, climbing back in Midnight Rider and pulling out. she looked to the jail and still saw the faint light, but didn't see Luke in the window. She sighed and drove a little slower..she had to think of just what exactly she was doing here. Something that her husband and his cousins were locked up for, and something that the man that had raised her, was going to jail for. She pulled back in at the farm, Uncle Jesse smiled to her as she walked in,"Food's in the oven darlin..I saved ya a plate." Lori sighed and said,"I may eat it later Uncle Jesse." Jesse nodded, Lori had just remembered too, after her class tomorrow she had to go to the doctor's, she had to get a sonogram done to determine the sex of the baby..something she wished Luke could be there for. She looked to Uncle Jesse and smiled shaking her head, almost in tears. Some of the perdicaments she could get herself into. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luke watched her leave, thanking god she wasn't out screwing around with anyone, not in that sense at least, but she might have been meadling in things she ought not to be though. He laid back down and sighed. He could really use her company right now, just to talk to her and hold her.

She put her hand on her still flat stomach and thought before finishing her answer to Jesse. Finally she said, " BUT..if it gets Bo, Jeb, and Luke out of that he** hole then I'm..all for it." Uncle Jesse nodded and looked to the others. Lori, sighed to herself and thought,"Greeeat..... that's all I need, get caught makin shine for Boss...let Uncle Jesse and the others down, great going Lori you get yerself into the greatest messes you dumba**!" Uncle Jesse had ajourned the meeting and everyone stayed for supper. Lori, however did not. The phone rang and it was Boss, he called to tell Lori to meet him. Lori knew it wasn't good... She hung up and made an excuse that her class was having an evening class or something. She left, everyone suspicious of course. Lori sighed and climbed in Midnight, heading to town. She saw just how many law men were around and she began to tensen up in her seat. She pulled up to the courthouse and climbed out going in to see Boss..... (sorry again guys I gotta go to school, go ahead and post though you basically know were im going...)

Well Lori seen he wasn't gonna stop so she got her wrench and yelled,"B!! DUCK!!" B.L. dropped to the ground and Lori flung the wrench, her being on the softball team in highschool, crakced Cooter right square center in his back. Cooter went hobbling humped over to the garage. B.L. and Lori walked in, panting they looked to each other and gave each other a high five. Luther sighed and shook his head,"Ya'll a sad..." He saw the looks and threw his hands up in an 'i surrender' form. B.L. set down and started banging her head on a chair. Lori was quick to be pregnant, Cooter was running for the jail, he darted around the corner screeching, Luke bolted up to the window."THEY'RE GONNA KILL ME!!!! HEEEELP!!" Luke looked to Cooter and then saw what he thought was two demons sent straight from he**, B.L. stood with the club hammer in hand, Lori had picked up a wrench, both girls were smirking evily and were laughing as if demons DID posses them. Cooter was squealing like a girl as he bolted past the two,B.L. walking after him like she was Jason or Micheal Myers, Lori was right in behind her until Luke called to her,"Lor....whats going on???!! you looked extremely PISSED!" Lori sighed and dropped the wrench setting at the window,"Luke...darlin..I just don't know how long I can keep this up.... me and B.L. and Dixie are ALL dying!" Luke at this point was groaning loudly,"I know it.......GOD if I could only get an hour with you or a day......I'll be ok!" Lori whimpered and squeezed her eyes,"I was thinking the same thing darlin...you just dont know sugar!" Luke took hold of her hand and said,"I aint about to tell you to wait for me... cause i know as beautiful as you are... theres a lot of men around thatd want to be with you.. honey if you have THAT much desire, then relieve it." Lori sighed." Luke, It aint fair fer me to go and break my promise I made ta ya you and God darlin...I don't care, absence makes the heart grow fonder... I can wait... hopefully." Lori looked to the jail and it was like she could smell Luke..his aftershave, Lori screamed like a banshee and was cussing stopming around. She pulled out some work clothes from her car. Luther and Cooter swallowed hard,"OHHHH LORDIE WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!! SHE'S DONT FLIPPED HER LID!!" B.L. looked to Lori and started cussing herself. Lori walked out and pulle dher hair back,"WERES THE GOD FER SAKIN WRENCHES AT??!!" Cooter shook a little at the sight, she was blood red, her muscles flexed. Cooter shakily reached through the toolbox and held it out to her, she jerked it causing Cooter to scream like a little girl and jumping on the desk outta her way. Untellings whos car she was working on, she crawled in under it and went to work,"That no good..... the da** things got a leak.... I swear that son of a bi***.... well i be da**ed!!! COOTER!!!" Cooter swallowed and said,"H..he died...." Lori crawled out,"Yea well I'll bring the holy ghost alive in him if he don't hand me that oil pan." Cooter kicked it in under to her, she cussed at him fer that and went in under. Luther meanwhile, was in the back keeping an eye sos the estrogen filled room didn't overflow too badly with estrogen.. Cooter got brave though adn looked to his two cousins........

Katie Beverly, who lived in Chickasaw County, born and raised, was on her way with her parents to Hazzard County, a neighboring county to them. She heard of land for sale in Hazzard and decided to let her parents know as they had a ranch, she told her mom and dad about the land and they decided to talk to Mr. J.D. Hogg about it. When they arrived Katie pulled up in front of the courthouse in her cherry red 1973 ford mustang. She opened her door and got out looking around, she saw were the jail and bank was, the garage. Boss stepped out greeting them,"Why hello there, Im J.D. Hogg, I assume that you're the Beverlys?" Katie's father looked to him shaking his hand,"Yes sir, Im joseph Beverly, this is my wife Mary Ann, and this heres my daughter Katie." Katie smiled and nodded. Hogg looked to Katie and thought she'd make a great waitress at the Boar's Nest, she'd work perfect with Daisy. Her mom and dad handed the money to Boss and got into their pick-up, but before Katie had a chance to step in her father grabbed her arm and squeezed it tightly,"Get in and drive us there!! you no good brat!" Katie broke free from his grip, grinding her teeth, her father abused her but no one knew but her. Katie climbed in and drove off towards the land when she got about a mile or two out of town her radiator blew up on her. She popped the hood and shook her head standing there. Her father got out and looked around, smacking her across the face,"You dumb girl, you shouldn't have been driving soo fast! We're going on and you best be in behind us here soon." He walked off and climbed in driving past her. She shook her head and sat on top of her car. Meanwhile Bo and Luke were heading into town to get some parts for Uncle Jesse's truck. Luke sat silently in the passenger seat, staring out the window like he'd lost his best friend. Bo smirked,"C'mon Luke, she wasn't worth it! Mindy Lou used you and left ya hanging t' dry!" Luke looked to Bo,"Yea guess yer right." They drove along the road noticing Katie setting there by the road. They stopped and got out looking to her, Bo politlely said,"Why howdy there ma'am may we be of some service to ya?" Katie hopped off the car and walked to the front of it, "My radiator blew up, know were the mechanic is?" Luke looked to her,"Why sure its Cooter Davenport, how's bout we give ya a lift and he can tow yer car for ya?" Katie nodded smiling,"Ok thanks ya'll." Bo looked to her and smiled big,"No problem, purty little lady like you got a name?" Katie looked to them both,"The name's Katie Beverly, me and my family is moving here, we're horse ranchers." Luke smiled,"Well, yer the new neighbors then, im Luke Duke and this heres my cousin Bo." Katie nodded as she walked over to get in, Luke picked her up and gently placed her through the window. Katie looked a little weirded out,"Ya'll climb through the winders?" Bo laughed,"Yea we get that alot." Luke climbed in and they headed for Cooter's garage when a man in a white pickup truck ran them off the side of the road...

Lori knew that if she truely wanted her desire to be relieved she could go and ask Vance she had noticed him watching her she sighed and looked out towards the roads, she took the clothes in and pulled out some of Luke's jeans, remembering the thougths of him when she was down there made her weak at the knees, as her desire built hotter and hotter for him. If she could only have an hour or a day with Luke she'd relieve the tension and desire. She went to the kitchen and cleaned and she continued to clean anyone who got in her way or dirtied HER floor would be got! Lori started fanning herself, "Uncle Jesse we really need an air conditioner." Uncle Jesse looked to Lori and said,"Lori....it aint even 50 some odd degrees outside!" Lori felt hot and she was terribly terribly bothered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bo glared at Luke then to his pants,"Shut the he** up!! it aint funny....I see what ya'll are going through now!" Luke and Jeb both grinned to each other and looked to the guard they whispered things to Bo unmentionable and he was in NEED BADLY!! Luke and Jeb like to have fell off the bed laughing and snickering at Bo. Luke sighed and said,"Fellers we might as well get over it... aint none of us gonna get any!!" Jeb sighed and was almost in tears,"Dont remind me!" Luke let out a shaky breath,"Loris coming today, da** just what I need!! She'll strut through those doors and thats it!" Jeb WAS in tears,"I've went tooo long without any and ohhh god im gonna die" The guard, however notcied Bo and was winking to him and all. "Hey there..." Was all she said and that got Bo to stumble to his feet,"Hey there yerself!" The guard reached through the bars, and was actually relieveing Bo! Luke and Jeb's mouth dropped literally to the ground,"THAT AINT RIGHT!!!! MY WIFE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND CAN'T DO THAT FOR US!!!" The guard smiled and watched Bo's expression. Luke and Jeb got pissed and waited they'd both rang his neck. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori knew that Dixie wouldn't be at the garage today, she decided to pay a visit. When she go tthere though what she saw shocked her. Cooter and Luther......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Luke laid back down and groaned and moaned and went on, same as Jeb. Bo was getting a little tired of it. Bo rolled his eyes as some small blonde woman, a guard, came down, it didn't all tha much interest Luke or Jeb, but it got Bo stirring. Bo bit his lip and whimpered, Luke and Jeb fell over laughing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dixie woke up tired and sore from cleaning and decided to sleep in or at least stay in bed awhile and tried to ease the pain, it did....but she had this burning desire for Luke AND Jeb. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cooter and Luther though............... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori had woken up a couple hours later, feeling refreshed but a little tired. She sighed and got up and headed out to Midnight. When she arrived to the farm she saw everything as it should, everyone working. She walked in and changed into a blue sundress, she pulled her hair back and walked out taking down the clothes. Vance watched her. A good thing like her going to waste, because of his own flesh and blood.. Vance........

Lori really drove to a small cabin that her mother and father had built so they could go on their honeymoon. She walked in, seeing the memories and went to lay down. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Vance sighed as he went off to work with Coy, he wanted to talk to Lori since they got thngs squared up, but he knew she'd never glance at him ever again. Uncle Jesse knew Lori was lying and knew something was up between her and Boss Hogg wasn't good. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luke, meanwhile at the jailhouse, had stayed asleep..he'd finally dozed off still smelling her perfume stronger than ever,his thoughts raced about all thats happened and IF Lori really would wait 10 years for him...

The Federal officer looked at Luke and retorted,"Thats terroristic threatening and if I hear that again it may just be next to 20 years before you get out!" Luke smiled and laid down, smelling Lori's perfume stronger than ever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori pulled up in Midnight, seeing Uncle Jesse up she knew it wouldn't be good. She got out and sighed,"Look...Uncle Jesse I had to go to town to talk to Boss Hogg....my daddy got ahold of him and he had to give me something that he thought couldn't wait til morning." "Lori, child, I know you have family problems of your own. As long as your problems and mine don't conflict we are good!" Jesse said. Lori sighed and nodded, "yes'sir.... if you'll excuse me i gotta go get things ready for breakfast." Lori headed straight to the bathroom though and sighed. She then went to prepare for breakfast.....

Lori had no idea what was up but she kicked the man below the belt, her dropping to the ground, she caught hersel sos not to hurt the baby. The officers looked to the two and they were up against the car. They looked to Boss,"Miss Loren is one of my many buisness associates...we were having a formal buisness conversation when these two miscrients showed up and attakced her, I aint never seen such ill mannerable acts in all my life!" The officers looked to Boss and then to Lori, she hesitated somewhat and lied,"Yes sir its the truth.." The officers took the two men tothe jailhouse booking them. Boss looked to lori and pointed that stubby finger,"You aint off the hook either, I have more around here and you WILL run the shine for me.." Lori sighed and looked to the jail, she could see Luke from the window he looked fit to be tied. Lori sighed and looked to the jail. She went over to it and sighed walking in, she went downstairs as the officer opened up the door,"Ma'am if you can get him to calm down please do so.." Lori nodded and softly said,"Luke?" Luke was only a bit calmer thanks to Bo and Jeb. When Luke saw Lori he asked through gritted teeth, "Tell me you are ok? Or so help me I'm coming outta here on somebody!" Lori walked to the bars and placed her hands around his clenched ones, they were so tense she could see the veins in them,"Easy easy honey, im ok...just had a squabble with a couple of boss's "buisness associates" im ok.." Luke was visiably breathing very hard. Luke knew enough about Lori's history that it may NOT be a good time to talk, "Do I want to hear THIS now?" "No, Honey. But I am fine and so is the baby, Thanks for gettng us help! OK?" Lori sighed and swallowed hard, she hated lying to Luke..now that he was her husband it was even harder for her to lie to him... She pressed her head against the bars and sighed letting out a long shaky sigh. All she could do was say, "I'm fine really! Just please calm down, Honey, OK?" Luke sighed and rubbed her shoulders, smiling. He calmed down and nodded,"Just as long as yer ok darlin im fine." Lori nodded and looked to the clock,"I gotta get home sweetheart.. I may stop by tomorrow and see ya, IF I can make it to town in one piece!" Luke sighed and nodded, he kissed her and told her he loved her. She walked up the stairs as Luke watched he banged his head against the bars. The officer on duty watched Lori walk up the stairs as well, he looked to Luke and with a low whislte he said,"THAT'S yer wife?" Luke glared at him,"YEAH, that's MY wife and unborn CHILD going up those steps! You got something to say about it??" The officer had no brains and replied,"Shhhhhhhh, I don't see HER waiting 10 years for YOU!" Luke wasroyally pissed now.."we'll just have to SEE wont' WE??? I'd bet my memory against your FLESH any DAY!" The officer backed off and looked wide eyed to the enraged Duke. Lori was getting in Midnight and heard Luke,"LUKE!!! I HEARD THAT!! NOW DANG IT I TOLD YA TA CALM DOWN!!" Luke replied, "Godda--! moth--fu----- SOB! Lori if he gets near you TELL ME!!!!!!!!" Luke snorted and set on the bunk. Lori replied, "Da-- IT LUKE, I'm FINE, just PLEASE calm down. I'll be there to see ya tomorrow." She soon pulled out..sighing and cussing a blue streak. Bo and Jeb ried to calm him down. "Da-- IT, LUKE!!! It's OK now!" Luke finally took a deep breath and said, "As long as Lori's fine --- so am I." Bo and Jeb fell over laughing,"little advice on our cousin...I can think of a better thing to do than to mess with his woman...like stick a grenade in yer mouth or up yer a**!!!!" The officer winced and set back. lUKE.......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`` Lori pulled up as it was almost dawn, Uncle Jesse looked to her from the kitchen table........

Lori sighed and nodded,"Ya gotta keep ole Coy outta trouble....me and poor ole Uncle Jesse wouldn't be able to handle him." Vance laughed and looked out over the back forty. Lori sighed and said,"Think i'll go to bed now... thanks Vance." Vance nodded and watched her go in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That night Lori got an unexpected phone call from Boss. He was still at the courthouse. Lori answered the phone and was shocked to hear who it was,"Boss?? what is it?" Boss told her to meet him there immediatley. Lori went in and pulled some clothes on, she got in Midnight and started it up. Uncle Jesse knew she left and so he sat up and waited. Lori pulled up to the courthouse and climbed out. "Whats so danged important Boss?" Boss only smiled and said,"Yer daddy gave me a call....he's in need of some financial help.....Yer the only kin around here to help him...his doctor bill gotta little steep and so he calls his only friend, naming me, fer help." Lori looked to him skeptically and raised an eyebrow crossin her arms leaning against the car. Boss then proceeded to explain,"You run shine for me.... pay me the profits you make....we'l split it 50/50 you send yer share to yer daddy..." Lori sighed, ONLY her father would choose to run with a crowd like Boss. She looked to Boss and shook her head,"Boss...." Boss didn't even have no time to explain and two men stepped out of a near by car."You see here Loren...if YOU don't help me these two will....take care of yer SAFE exit from Hazzard County." Lori looked to Boss,"Yer threatening me... you can't do that!" One of the men stepped up and picked Lori straight up by her shirt collar, Boss nodded and smiled..."I can and I will.." Luke happened to see it from the window, he saw Midnight and knew that behind of her's if he ever saw it! Luke.............

Luther and B.L. kept their mouths shut. they wasn't gonna rat on poor ole cooter. Dixie headed home and took a bath and cleaned more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile as dark rose near Vance sat up, watching Lori from the kitchen. Daisy was in the bed as was everyone else. Vance sighed and saw Lori crying, in the red recliner. He didn't want to talk to her, from the note, but it seems to him that Luke aint doing too gooder a job.Vance got up and went to Lori,"Come on..." He held his hand out to lead her out to the porch. She sighed and took it following him. They sat out on the porch swing, which wasn't missed by Uncle Jesse. "I uhh I guess...that visit to the jail wasn't a good one?" Lori sighed and remembered,"Ta be honest no...it wasn't..... me and Dixie use to be like sisters but now, we're bitter enemies." "Why Lori, ya'll used to be really close and not that long ago?" Lori looked to him and sighed,"Shes got this crush on him and always has!! it seems everywhere he is SHE is too!! Vance said, "I know a certain cousin who could likely relate. It's a small town." Lori looked to him,"Has Luke said anything to you??? Your only trying to be there for me when he can't....I know he may not see it that way... but I mean why cant she just accept the fact me and him is together, and If I can help it will plan to STAY that way." Vance got a bit forward and replied, "Maybe she can't for the same reason I can't accept it either." Lori looked to Vance into his gray eyes,"Vance?? what are you talking about?" "I can't accept it either. I think Luke is a fool. And, I sure don't see you setting around here waiting on him for YEARS." Lori got a but peeved and didn't mean to sound rude or anything,"WHY THE HE-- NOT?? OHHH I FORGOT THOUGH, IM THe HAZZARD WHORE.... JUST BECAUSE I ACTUALLY SAY I LOVE SOMEONE I CANT MEAN IT CAUSE I CAN NEVER STAY WITH ONE GUY FOR THAT LONG!" Vance got loud enough for her to hear him, "I MEANT that YOU are better than that! Luke fu---- up NOT you. You don't HAVE to be lonely just cause he's locked up." Lori's eyes got big,"Vance....do you still...love me?? I can't mess around with anyone I made a promise to Luke and God on my wedding day.." Vance felt bad to put her in such a situation but replied, "I won't ask you to go against any promises Lori, but yes I do and I'll be here if you ever need me for anything." Lori sighed and smiled to Vance, she gave him a kiss on the cheek and softly replied,"Thanks Vance... that means alot to me...." Vance replied, "That would be a 'Thanks, but NO?' I can live with that but you know ten years could be a long time to hold on to a promise on a cold night. The offer is there." Lori had to bite her lip on that one,"Vance.... I can't I...I.." Lori broke down into tears on the porch,"GOD WHY DO YOU GOTTA MAKE THIS HARD ON ME!" Vance took her hand and began to rub it a bit as he said, "Lori that's not my intention at all. Luke is the one making the mistakes that is making this hard on you." Lori squeezed Vance's hand and huddled in his arms,"I love Luke Vance I do...but, I just... I don't know..." Vance........ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Back at the jail Luke grew concerned, on colds night like it had been he had to think of what Lori was REALLY doing...........

When Lori left the jail she was cussing and goin on thinking,"This aint the last time....Me and Her still has a score to settle." See folks the only reason as to why Lori didn't hit Dixie is one. Dixie is underage and they were in the jail. Lori'd plan to get her back, she'd been planning it. Lori headed straight for the house, when she stomped in, Jesse looked to her and shook his head,"Glad to see the ring on yer finger still.....my nephews still alive down there?" Lori shook with anger,"Ohhh this ring aint been back on long.....yea they're fine, a little worked up but fine... I go down there and i FIND DIXIE DOWN THERE!!!" Jesse winced at her tone as she stomped off to her's and Luke's room slamming her door, cussing that would put a sailor to shame. Lori laid in bed and could take one wiff of Luke's aftershave or see his picture and either burst into tears OR the need for her husband grew and the heat in that room would rise higher than an inferno or he** itself. Lori knew from all the stuff that Cooter told her about Dixie's crush on Luke, and it was true that ever day of her life she'd get screamed at by B.L. Lori'd always be pissed and thats what caused her and Luke to fight and just that their timing was wrong, well Lori prayed that their timing was good this time.. she only hoped it was. She came out hours later and sighed, she'd changed into some work clothes and went outside to work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dixie had Cooter cornered......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the jailhouse, all Luke had to do was smell Lori's perfume or just remember the touch of her hand and that was it!! he looked down and started beating himself, all Jeb had to do was the same as Luke only about Dixie, and he was beating himself!! Bo looked to them as they both squalled out,"DA**!!!" Bo sighed and said,"What now fellers??? oh...OHHH!! nevermind.... ya'll a sad sight ya know that?" Luke...............
