you should really try fanfic rogerduke, its quite fun when you make up your own character. like for instance, i had my name changed for my character I created about a year ago, Lori. Sorry yall, i was MIA fer awhile my Computer blew up, the ding danged thang just went POW!! so yea im back now!!! and i missed yall on here!

Soory yall i been MIA fer a while but im back!! AND YES HE HAS AN ATTUITUDE!!! some minitures are sweet some aint. I know what ya mean Thunderbolt my mini is definently the lead stud and we just recently bought a new horse too, a teneesse walker, blakc and white stud 2 yrs old.

Lori had managed to pick Dixie straight up by the neck and hang her in the air,"THE ONLY WHORE ROUND HERE IS YOU... AINT NOTHIN BUT A TEENAGR SLUT.... HE** WHEN I LOST MINE I WAS OLDER THAN 16!!! CAN'T SAY NOTHIN TO ME NOW... BUT THERE IS ONE THING I DO HOPE AND I HOPE AND PRAY YER PREGNANT AND THAT DA**ED CHILD KILLS YOU!" Lori dropped Dixie who went after her trying to regain her breathe back, Lori grabbed her and twisted her arm hearing it snap. Luther pulled Lori away and basically slung her off the porch, Lori was breathig hard and had fire in her eyes, Luther looked to Dixie and then to Lori,"You..broke her arm..." Jesse looked to Lori and shook his head. Luther went in and called Doc. Dixie was almost in tears, Cooter walked over to lori and stood beside her trying to calm her down. Lori looked to Cooter and said,"Cooter....if I had my way she'd be in a pine box right now 6 feet under the ground.." Cooter only agreed to calm her down. Dixie......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the jail.........

Lori was in uniform and had her bags packed to go for two weeks. She was smiling like the cat who ate the caniary because she LOVED her job, and not the mairnes one either. She took her bags and loaded them on the bus, a recruiter was going as well, she didn't know were but he was going. Lori climbed aboard the bus and was on her way to Hazzard. Hours later when she arrived, she saw Cooter at the bus stop with Midnight Rider. She smiled at the sight of the car, it had been a year or half a year since she'd last seen him. She stepped off the bus, Cooter grinning as wide as sh was as she tossed her bags, standing in her uniform she hugged Cooter,"Sure is good to be home...." Cooter laughed,"Only cause you get to make trouble." Lori giggled and nodded, she climbed in and they headed for the farm. ~~~~~~` Dixie wasn't asleep and when she heard Midnight's engine roar up the road, she thought, she could tell the difference between Cooter driving and another person driving, and this person wasn't cooter. She looked out her window and saw a nightmare....Lori. Lori got her bags out and saw Luther on the front porch smiling, Lori nodded and headed in taking her bags in. She went to her room and put them up. She came out, out of uniform in her jeans, boots, tank top, and levi jacket. She walked outside and plopped in a chair,"Sooooo Uncle Luther..I hear we have a slight bit of trouble huh?" Luther sipped his coffee Cooter bringin Lori a cup,"Yeap." Was all Luther would answer. Lori sipped her coffee and nodded,"My first victim.... Dixie." Luther nodded,"You'll wait til after im finished with her though." Lori smirked and nodded,"My pleasure.." Cooter leaned up against the porch banister as they all looked down the road. Dixie eased her way down the steps and into the living room, tippy toing you couldn't hear the floor creak. Lori, being in the Marines, had learned a defense mechanism and knew she was back there, she smirked and said,"Were ya sneakin off to Dixie?? sures to my god it aint to see Luke.." Luther looked to Lori and was amazed for some reason as he turned to see Dixie standing like a deer in the headlights. Dixie...........

Around the time Luke and Dixie were off to jail, there was a ring in the Davenport home. Luther answered it and slammed the phone down. Cooter woke up and jolted downstairs... Luther explained to him the problem.. Cooter was enraged and furious..BUT he knew ONE woman that could cause Luke he**, his darling EX wife, Lori. Cooter would call her later. Rosco raised his eyebrows and looked to Trooper Mitchell who nodded in agreement with Luke. Luke was booked. Luther called to pick her up and to see what he wanted done with Luke. Luther and Cooter were furious! He wanted the book thrown at Luke. Luke could hear the commotion upstairs. He expected at any minute Luther and or Cooter to storm down the stairs leading to the cells. What Luke didn't know was that it had taken both Troopers, Rosco, Dixie's pleading, and promises of their own arrests to convince them both to leave the jail. Cooter even told them at one point to arrest him and put him downstairs with Luke. When Peggy, the correctional officer, arrive downstairs, Luke was setting on the bunk Indian style. He had been staring at nothing replaying the nights events. Cooter and Luther gave up and never spoke a word to Dixie. They took her home and went in the house,"GO....NOW!" Luther pointed to Dixie's room and closed his eyes blood red. Cooter was furious but got this evil look on his face and suggested to Luther,"Dad....who better to make the two feel low and down for what they did... than Lori?" Luther thought on what Cooter had said before answering, then said, "Well, I dont' need 'help' handling this situation, but you better call her if she hears it from someone else she'll be all the more mad." Cooter looked to Luther and said,"I aint sayin as 'help' dad I mean...just a small part of the punishment??" "Call her son. But if I get my hands on that Duke I'm liable to kill him! That's why I ani't whipped DIxie yet." Luther was seething mad! B.L. all the while was at Daisy's.. Cooter waited til Luther went to bed and dialed the camp's number. When the operator directed the call to Lori's room, she sighed rolling over seeing it was 2 in the morning. She picked up the phone and sighed,"Hello? Drill Instructor Loren Davenport here?" Cooter smiled and said,"Howdy cousin...we got us a situation.." Lori groaned,"Ya mean to tell me you call me this late just to tell me HOME problems???" Cooter smirked and told Lori about the situation. Lori fell out of her bed with a loud THUD! Cooter winced and said,"You alright?" Lori laughed and said,"You mean to tell me you call me this late just to tell me my EX husband is thrwon in jail because he screwed my baby cousin... cause he thought she was old enough and She never told him????" Cooter nodded and smiled,"Yep...that sums it up.. me and uhh Uncle Luther was wonderin if you could take leave and come back to raise he** with em?" Lori nodded and said,"Tomorrow starts one of our vacations anyways... im off fer atleast two weeks... so yea... Ill be there in the morning HAVE MIDNIGHT READY!!!" Cooter laughed and agreed,"Sure thing cousin...get some rest now.." Lori nodded and sighed, she climbed in bed and rolled in it laughing. ~~~~~~~~ At the jail.........

Luther shook his head and sighed,"Luke, she aint ready to handle that much horse power.." Luke sighed and nodded he wasnt fighting with Luther. Luther sighed and shook his head telling them he'd see them tomorrow. Luther left and headed home. Luke and the others....... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori had just recruited MORE men... this makes about the 100th group of cadets shes trained. She had just finished up her others and sent them to her co DIs, Sergeant Larry Skye and Drill Instructor Gary Bean. Shes been working with these two since day one and knew every thing that they had taught her and she was still learning herself.

Lori, meanwhile was practicing drills in front of the mirror, It was always necessary for a drill instructor to practice first instead of going out there and trying to wing it infront of the cadets. The war was growing and more and more men were begin drafted and sent off. Lori had been told that she WOULD more than likely be going herself soon. She sighed and continued to practice. Cooter.......

I was a little girl when i fell inlove with them.. my momma talked about them and she raised me the way they was raised, Well when they first aired them on CMT is when i first watched them.. I automatically figured out whothey was, the very first episode i watched was Daisy's song... I member that like it was yesterday...the general was getting ready to jump and my mom hollered at me.. i got mad too...

Lori rolled over in her bed and sighed, she thought of all the things that has happened in the past and all that may happen in the furture..She though of Luke and Dixie and quickly changed the subject to something more or less like how her horse was or how Cooter and Bo and the others were...

Lori rolled her neck around and sighed, another bus load of men who were drafted was sent her way, she looked to them her hands behind her back, feet apart. She watched as they lined in front of her and they all whislted and looked her up and down, Lori stood straight and then yelled to them to dop and give her 20. One of the men, who were doing the push ups mumbled something and Lori got down and smirked,"Welcome to the Marines maggot." Lori got up and watched them, when they stood they were sent to their barracks and then to the classroom, were Lori was already in there seated and waiting. Lori proceeded to give them the speech she gave all the others before. Today they had a Sergeant, who had been there for a couple or so years, to finally be promoted to a DI. Lori being one of the senior DIs had to promote him and at the ceremony. She stood tall and spoke through the mic,"ATTEN--TION!!!" Every cadet stood straight and listened. Lori began her speech,"Segeant Bryan Little is one of the most trust worthy Sergeants I know here at Camp LaJune, He is to be promoted on this day, to Drill Instructor Bryan Little, for his outstandinf valor he has shown us over the course of his time served here." Lori looked to Bryan and then said,"Sergeant repeat after me," Lori began to say the Drill Instructor Creed,"These recruits are entrusted in my care.I will train them to the best of my ability.I will develop them into smartly disciplined, physically fit, basically trained Marines,thoroughly indoctrinated in love of Corps and Country. I will demand them, and demonstrate by my own example, the highest standards of personal conduct, morality and professional skill." Bryan recited each line word for word and saluted Lori, Lori saluted him back shaking his hand,"Sergenat Bryan Little, you are now Drill Instructor Bryan Little.." After the ceremony Lori went to her room and sighed, she set down after the hard days work and just thought.

Meanwhile in NC, Lori had been busy with her promotion. Ya see Lori had been the first lady to become a drill instructor for the men's corps, she was dressed as a drill instructor should be and she was meaner than he**....well, meaner that what she was already. She had already trained over 200 men to be sent to war and was making sure the men knew what the name,"United States Marine," truely meant. At her graduation she never wanted ANY of her family there, except for Cooter and Uncle Jesse, and they both came too. Uncle Jesse had promised her that he would stick to the story of her being in Jonhson County, Cooter was proud of her. Lori knew she'd probably never get over Luke, she had wrote to Cooter many times explaining to him her feelings, Cooter, of course, wrote back and tried the best he could to help her. Lori made no effort to come home when over the course of 6 months she had vacations, Instead she was busy playing at local bars and all, her music, there was a talent scout there one time, and he did seriously think of recruiting her into the music business, he talked and got her number and all, she thought,"Just ANOTHER man..." She didn't know he was a talent scout from Nashville. Surprisingly Lori had NOT been court-marshaled, she had behaved herself and acted the way she should. She never thought twice of Dixie or her big birthday and she never regretted sending those gifts. She couldn't honestly stand the thought of them two together they just didn't fit right in her mind, not that they weren't cute together or anything, Lori figured it was were they were cousins, she didn't know anymore, she wasn't sure what or who to believe. The war had officially been started and the boys were called to war in North Vietnam, south Vietnam was allies with U.S. (they supported and helped the U.S) Lori had been training men by the numbers getting them ready to leave.

NIGHT OF THE PARTY~~~~ Luke, and the others had a cake and all prepared, the car was stashed around out back. they all waited for Dixie to arrive. Luther and B.L. and Dixie pulled up. Dixie walked in and saw the decorations and all and smiled. There was one gift that Luke had, it was requested that HE give it to Dixie from Lori. He wasn't sure he wanted to or not. Dixie walked in and they all talked and all, Jeb's band playing. When it was time for gifts, Luke looked to Dixie and sighed,"This one is for you from Lori...." Dixie smiled, well maybe Lori DID care about her. Dixie opened it up and saw a big note that she read aloud without thinking,"FOR YOU AND LUKE TO CELEBRATE WITH.... WHEN LUTHER FINDS OUT HE'LL WHIP YER ALLS A**ES HAVE FUN COUSIN!!" Luke dropped his head as Luther and Jesse were shooting daggers, Dixie turned blood red and dropped the gift shaking her head, Lori would STILL somehow manage to destroy her big night even in ANOTHER state!! There was another from Lori that was a little more meaner than the condoms, Lori wrote," Since I love you ever soooo much here ya go.... my favoritest cousin in the world..." Lori then proceeded to buy Dixie a vibrator, saying,"JUST IN CASE LUKE COULDNT FULFILL HIS DUTIES..." Luther was furious with the gifts and was madder than a wet hen cause he couldn't whip her, he knew shed be whipped enough. Luke turned blood red, yep... Lori managed to ruin the gift part of the birthday..... Luke took Dixie outside,"Luke... I knew Lori hated me... she said so herself...but why would she do that?" Luke sighed,"It wasn't you AND she doesn't hate you.... its...me." Dixie shook her head, she knew Lori held grudges and all, but she said she was over Luke... "Luke, Lori said she was over you though.." "Dix I really hope she has. I knew I should have waited at least unti after your birthday before I even thought about starting anything with you. But, with Lori she's never going to be able to accept seeing me with someone else." Luke thought to himself about remarks that people had made to him over the years about him and Lori. They had said it didn't matter if they were mad, dating, friends or what that anytime the second one entered a room that the others eyes lite up the room. Luke knew deep down it would always be that way even if they both seriously tried to move on, but he-- he'd done everything he knew to do. He had even married her. Where did that get him? Divorced and still she had started trouble for him and anyone he'd dated OR TALKED to since. He knew she hadn't moved on, and he hadn't moved on either.... least not yet... he** he's tried and tried too. He led Dixie to the back were the finished car waited.....

Lori's Drill Sergeant or Instructor walked in and announced,"Professionalism starts here, You will go through this course as you went through your recruiter training when you first enlisted,But a big part of the course curriculum focuses on drill and learning the Standard of Operations manual - the bible for recruit training. We want YOU to be a leader first and a DI second.treat your fellow drill instructors with professionalism, too. IF you make it, remember this.. "Be firm, but fair and demanding to recruits," said the drill instructor,"Use the leadership traits and principles and that will help you be a successful DI." Lori and the others nodded and all said,"Sir Yes Sir.." Lori knew she was home again. (sorry fellers i had to double post here... it wouldnt let me edit and i forgot to add this bit!! )

Dixie let out a shaky breath and sighed,"Well.... Lori uh... Lori actually said that she wasn't going to work on the party..cause shes pissed...I uh..I also heard her and Cooter talkin one night... B...she hates me... she said so herself..." B.L............... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori meanwhile was welcomed back with opened arms, as soon as she stepped off the bus she was thrown into uniform and her hair was pulled back, Lori, unlike other women, was off to be a drill sergeant, for the Men's corps.. Lori went into the women's barracks as requested were as she went through the whole speech as she did when she fisrt arrived there years ago. Only now she hoped that she would be the one to make that speech herself to new recruits and to teach them what it means to have the title,"United States Marine." Lori and the others stood at attention and kept their eyes straight ahead, not watching the drill sergeants sos not to get intimedated, they kept their eyes and ears wide and open. Lori loved her work their..it was definently better than Hazzard County.. Lori had three months to spend in the class room, they were sent off to their first days training..

Lori stood still and watched the Dukes go, she saw the others set down, she didnt. Luther returned as promised gun in hand. He checked first to make sure the Dukes were gone. They were. He turned to see BL, Cooter and Dixie setting on the couch like little puppies with the tails tucked. Lori had her arms crossed and her legs apart one foot turned out pointing towards the couch."Loren, my problem is with BL unless YOU want to buck me. Then, we'll have our own go around FIRST!" "BRING IT ON THEN!!!! IM TIRED OF STANDING AROUND HERE WATCHING THESE YOUNGINS GET INTO TROUBLE FER STUFF YOU DID WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER!!!! IT AINT FAIR!!! AND GOD KNOWS I SHOULD BE THE ONE TO KNOW LIFE AINT FAIR... LUTHER, THEM DUKES IS THE BEST BUNCHA BOYS YOU'LL EVER SEE ROUND HERE IN HAZZARD WOULD YOU PREFER ERNIE LEDBETTER TO COME AROUND AND SCREW B.L.????????" Luther was full of attitude but for once Lori had made since. He stood still thinking for a long minute before he layed the shot gun down. "DA-- IT! I just want what's BEST for you all. I don't want My WIfe or YOUR DADDY trying to said I DON'T try to raise you kids right. God knows I've tried!" Luther looked defeated. Dixie and Cooter and B.L. were all eyes wide and their mouths open. Lori spoke once more firmer in tone,"Uncle Luther...we're grown up, we can manage to take care of ourselves... we thank you and appreciate all the time and work you put into raising us, but Uncle... A bird's gotta fly... B.L. is a grown Lady..as is I am and Cooter a grown man... Dixie, however... I know yer still raising her... and B.L. and I having guys over aint the best thing to be teaching her but I'll tell ya this if that girl is to stupid to understand the risks and all of that then its her own fault we ALL have taught her!!! AND as for my father he could care less Uncle Luther and you of all people know that!" "You all may be big enough to take careof yourselves but I won't be disrespected in MY house." Lori sighed, he was being difficult and she knew it, "Luther you think it fair that me and Cooter and B.L. pull our weight around here but STILL this place isn't considered OUR home??" "IT IS YOUR HOME for as long as you want it. But, as long as there is breath in me it's MY rules!" Lori threw her hands up in the air,"WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER PREACHING TO YOU!!!! ITS ALL YOU EVER DO TO US!!! HOW ON GODS GREEN EARTH ARE YOU GOING TO STOP US..DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE MORE YOU TELL US NO THE MORE WE'LL DO IT!!!" "NOT IN MY HOUSE!" "MY GOD LUTHER DONT SET THERE AND TELL ME YOU HAVE NEVER DONE SOMETHING YOU WEREN'T SPOSE TO DO AND WAS IN THE SAME BIND AS KONRAD WAS HE** I DONT THINK POOR OLE COOTER WOULD EXSIST,I've done the MATH between your wedding and his birth!!!" By this time Dixie, B.L., and Cooter were watching this cold war being fought wondering who would win.. He just looked from one to the other with pain filled eyes, turned walked out, got into the wrecker and left for the garage. Cooter and them all said in amazement,"Wow.... Lori you really DID do it this time.... dang.... that was....amazing!" Lori shook her head and snapped,"Git this winder fixed and ill be back.." Lori shot outta that door and into Midnight leaving Trigger there, she sped on to the garage catching up with Luther. She got on the CB and,"Uncle Luther.... please.. pull over, what I said back there was uncalled for and...well Im sorry.." Luther couldn't win, he pulle dover and got out,"Loren...what you said...was...true... and I know I can't stop you... or BL..or Cooter... I just....I just dont want my youngins taken away from me... or my sweet little Dixie..." Lori rolled her eyes and said,"Go back home to yer sweet little innocent im a goodie goodie Dixie and keep em happy do what ya like..as of now I am going back to the marines and FAR FAR AWAY from here.." Luther sighed and nodded,"If that's what you have to do I'll support you." Lori bucked up,"I dotn need no support from no one, specially this family.." Luther dropped his head a bit, "I'm sorry you feel that way Loren." Lori grunted and turned the car around,"DONT BE!" She sped off towards the house to pack. When she arrived back they all were asking her questions. Lori ignored them and picked up the phone and dialed Camp LaJune's numbers. When the operator answered she only nodded and said,"This is Private Loren Davenport.." Cooter and Dixie and BL all knew then. Lori nodded and hung up going to pack, she came back and Luther had made it home, she left and never spoke a word to anyone. Lori tossed her things in the back of Midnight and climbed in, Cooter followed her out and went with her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They arrived to the bus stop and Lori sighed,"Sorry Coot...can't take this he** hole no more..." Cooter nodded and hugged her tightly watching her leave once more. Cooter went to the garage and saw Luke and Bo pull up he sigfhed to them as thy asked what was wrong,"She's gone...."
