Lori looked to the paper and saw it needed Luke's signature, for her Economics class. When she pulled up to the jail, Rosco followed her to the top as she walked down and the sight she saw sickened her. She looked to Dixie and stopped dead,"I can't believe you....of all the girls in the Davenport house....I WAS the worst one, apprently since I left, what you gotta try to be more like me now?" Dixie was about to retort when lori looked to Luke, not only did he have the ohhhh sh** look, but as Dixie being the only female around, he HAD that look too. "Well Lucas....I THOUGHT we could make it work...aint even been married a month and you want to make moves on my cousin and have THOUGHTS about her that a married man shouldn't have!!" "Lori! What in God's name are you talking about? I was looking out the window thinking about YOU!" "I haven't said ten words to her, have I?" He looked to Bo and Jeb and Dixie. Lori rolled her eyes and shook her head,"Ohhh please...fer once in yer life tell me the WHOLE truth! and not something half baked!!! I left hours ago and look!!" She pointed downwards on him, him seeing that he was excited. Luke knew where she was pointing and WHY. He said, "Yeah, I've replayed those those few minutes with you about a hundred times since you left. I'm a whole lot bored and a he-- of a lot in NEED! So sue me, OK?" Any other time he would have been embarrassed but to have said that in front of Jeb, Bo, Dixie and especially Rosco but right now he didn't care. Lori looked to Dixie and knew that uke knew she had developed and grew up she pointed to the top Dixie was wearing,"AND THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT??!!" Luke repeated himself, "I've been looking out the window for awhile now. I hadn't even noticed the top but Honey yours is a sight lower!" Lori had the good graces to blush some. Dixie looked at Lori and couldn't stay quiet any longer, "Yeah Lori, what are you trying to do drive the man CRAZY? Not to mention Bo and Jeb here! I mean we KNOW they ain't gonna get none for a he-- of a long time. Why make that harder on them?" I at least had that much respect for my boyfriend! Seems you would for YOUR HUSBAND!" If I'd wanted to dress like a hooker I'd have worn that black outfit you had hanging in the closet that only comes to here! -- Dixie held her hand to her nipples. That why you quit taking those birth control pills half way throught the month THREE months ago when you and Luke were dating???? "Lori I'd like to hear that one myself?" Luke said from behind bars, he was ALL ears. Lori looked to Luke and pulle dout of her wallet a doctor's order that read something similar,"allergic to the Birth Control Pills she was taking....." Luke looked to Lori and sighed,"Well that explains that..." Lori shook her head and looked to Dixie,"You went through my stuff didn't you?" "I cleaned house all day,You are married now ...... You don't live there anymore,Care to tell your husband WHY you still have letters from HIS cousin?" Lori looked to Luke and said,"I left all my old highschool memories in under my bed and miss I haven't got a life so i go snoop around my couisn's old room finds them, me not having a chance to go through anything." Luke just looks at her skeptically, raising one eye brow. Lori put her hands on her hips and snorted,"ohh my God.... you don't even believe me.. so tell me Dixie did you find my back book?" Dixie sweetly smiled,"Sure did...Ohh yea B.L. wants to kill you for having Andy's phone number in it." Lori smirked,"Tell me Luke...if I really wanted to do ANYTHING with ANYONE don't ya think I would have brung them with me? when I moved in with you?" Dixie interupted, before Luke could answer, "Not if you had them memorized!" Lori found it funny and replied,"Too many to memorize cousin! Dixie replied, Yeah RIGHT! Besides, all you needed to do was memorize LUKE'S then you could call VANCE anytime you wanted RIGHT?" "Why call Vance when I wanted Luke?" Dixie replied, "That may have been so THEN, but Luke ain't REAL avaiable NOW!" She smiled an evil smile. and added, "Is he?? But, Vance sure is!" Lori walked over to Luke and rubbed his chest, "Well cousin my all means if you want Vance go after him...I've got mine." Dixie replied, "Vance ain't who I intend to get and KEEP!" she was holding Jeb's hand as she raised an eyebrow." He's your 'back up plan not mine" Lori looked to Dixie and saw EXACTLY what she meant.."You say Jeb couisn....but you don't mean it.... Vance ain't my back up plan...like I said I have my Duke boy right here." Dixie replied, "That's good! IF you can keep him! GO for IT!,I give you a month you'll be in the hey with someone." Lori smirked,"Dont think the keepin him will be such a problem cousin." Dixie replied, We'll SEE!" Lori stepped up,"You've got one time to touch Luke.... while Im married to him and I SWEAR TO GOD YOU'LL TAKE A DIRT NAP WITH THE WORMS!" Dixie smiled sweetly and replied, "I wouldn't think of touching YOUR man, but that don't stop him from WANTING to touch ME!" "HEY! LADIES! COOL IT!!!! My dog is on the porch in this fight, OK?" Luke replied. Lori's heart dropped to the bottom of her stomach, she turned to Luke and said to Luke,"So.....it...is true, you and her DO have something... I was stupid to think I could marry you and be happy... not with HER around apparently not..." Lori sighed and looked to her hand she took the wedding band off and handed it to Luke,"Here I won't be needin it seems yer girlfriend here will more than me... sorry I couldn't be as good as miss perfect here." Dixie flew off the handle and grabbed Lori by the throat! "He ain't did NOTHING WRONG! YOU are just looking for an excuse! You wont to be able to blame Luke or ME cause you can't keep your pants on!" Lori took Dixie's arm and twisted it around,"YOU EVER TOUCH ME ONE MORE TIME..... I swear to my god itll be the last thing you'll ever touch!! Luke's the only one I've been with and you can't except the fact apparently that me and him is married!! but no as long as the baby of the family is happy and gets the fu**ing man she wants, she doesnt care whos life it is she screws up!" Lori may have gotten Dixie's left hand behind her back but Dixie still had her right hand on Loris' throat. SHe squeezed hardre and said take that BACK! NOWW! Luke looked at Rosco and said, "Rosco da-- IT stop them or let me out to do so!" Rosco took in the site and actually thought about letting LUke out to stop them but he decided to let them fight. Lori took Dixie's other hand and knocked her across the face,"I AINT TAKIN NOTHIN BACK DA** IT!!! CAUSE ITS THE TRUTH!! Lori then proceeded to tell Dixie,"DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I GOT BIT**** OUT AT BY B.L. BECAUSE YOU WENT CRYIN TO YER ROOM OVER HIM!! I GOT YELLED AT EVERY G** D*** DAY OF MY LIFE OVER THAT! ALL BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO BE HAPPY!!!!" "Lori I really don't know why you are so insecure. I have never been more than Luke's kid sister. I don't know why you are so bent out od shape, but I know me, my boyfriend, your HUSBAND and Bo are gettin damm tired of your hysteria!" Lori looked to Dixie and said,"ohhhhhhhh ok.... so uh thats why you took off crying when we got back and told everyone that we were gettin married? "Yeah I felt bad for Luke marrying a WHORE." "better than seeing him screw around with some teenage slut!" "least I dont want PAID!" "least when I start something with someone...ohh say Tommy Rogers, I finish it!" "I didn't start A thing, and I da-- sure ain't gonna let a slez bag RAPE me!" Luke knew that this ws gonna involve him somehow. he held his breath and waited.. "So you get Luke to come to the rescue cause you couldnt handle him?" "For your FU--ing information, I HAD handled the situation -- All Luke did was give me a ride HOME!"" "you sure thats ALL he did?" "Yeah and stay there till time for Cooter or Dad to come home." "Cooter's told me some things Dix.... some things as to why im so insecure about Luke, and as to why im soo protective,Especially around you." Just to prove Dixie like Jeb and not LUke she reached throught the bars with one hand and pulled him closer. She layed a kiss from he-- on him while with the other hand she rubbed the front of his tight jeans making them tighter. ................... The only problem there was it also made Luke's jeans tighter and he groaned in discomfort, "SH--! Would you quit already? DA--!" Lori rolled her eyes,"ohh please that all you can do??" Lori looked Luke in the eyes and reached down, grabbing him and sfotly massaging him."gotta be gentle and not rub soo hard" Luke closed eyes enjoying Lori's touch, but said through gritted teeth, "Would you please stop already, huh?" Dixie grinned and stroked Jeb more, only softer. Jeb had about all he could stand, he backed away and shook his head. Luke took Lori's hand and brung it to his mouth and kissed it, placing the ring back on her finger. Lori sighed and looked to Luke. Both girls left...................

Lori's tears dropped like rain as she looked to Luke she saw the formations of tears in his eyes,"It's not yer fault baby... you did what was right..what you were spose to do...you went back and helped and thats all that matters....i guess to be honest...its all my fault really, if it hadn't been for me NOT telling you sooner that I was pregnant then you wouldn't have gotten caught and neither would Bo or Jeb... the fault is all mine and I take the blame for everything...I was being stupid when I never told you.." Luke looked to her and wiped the tears from her eyes. He hated to see her cry, in doing so he choked up the words and let his own tears fall, Bo and Jeb looked and sighed to each other shaking their heads, this was a hard time they all were going through but Luke had it the hardest. ""No, it's not your fault. YOU knew I'd show my a-- and I did." Lori choked up,"But you were only doing what came natural to you honey..." "Yeah, flying off half cocked. Do you have any idea how many times over teh years Jesse Duke has warned me about that?" He said in serious thought. Lori didnt take it seriously she giggled and looked to him,"I think we ALL have warned you bout that temper.." Luke smiled and nodded, seeing as it was dark out."You bes get home for Jesse comes lookin fer ya.." Lori sighed and smiled to him nodding, she kissed him and told him she loved him, walking out she told Bo and Jeb good night. Lori left the jail and went back to the farm. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When she arrived she sat and told Jesse about what Roach had said, Jesse nodded and smiled. Lori looked around seeing that Vance must have been in the bed already. She sighed and went to her's and Luke's room she pulled the covers back. Later that night as she laid there she felt warmth beside her, no one was with her, but she felt it..... Vance never replied to the letter he just threw it away and sighed.

At the jail, Luke had mailed the letters, as Miss Tizdale was about to make her run she grabbed the letters and headed for the Duke and Davenport and all other stops in Hazzard. As she arrived at the Duke famr Lori was out by the mailbox walking Maudine around, she'd been favoring her left foot and Lori decided to walk her. Miz Tisdale pulled up and handed the two letters to Lori. Lori smiled and thanked her reading two from Luke, she smiled but grew awefulyl suspicious of the one to Vance from Luke.... ohh lord was all she could think of. Lori read her letter on the front porch once everyone went in. Vance read his in Uncle Jesse, and Coy and his's room. Lori smiled and read the last line, "You said you thought we could make this work if we both tried. Please don't replace me with Vance. Luke." Lori decided to go pay dear Lucas a visit, 1.because she wanted too and 2. because she loved him and 3. she was gonna show her dear cousin Dixie that SHE was Luke's wife NOT HER... and she'd just have to accept that fact. Lori went in and took a shower, having not left the house in days, she put on her jeans and a low cut tank top, her boots and her jacket. She walked out and smiled to everyone telling Uncle Jesse she was going to the jail to see her husband. Uncle Jesse smiled and nodded,"Just be careful and watch out.." Lori nodded and left the house getting in Midnight Rider. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When she arrived at the jail she saw Agent Roach outside talking to some big wigs she smiled and nodded to him all polite like, Agent Roach looked to the man and told him to excuse him for one moment. He gently grabbed Lori's arm saying,"Excuse Mrs. Duke? I was wondering, Jesse HAS told you about the talk me and him had hasn't he? I figured he'd talked to the family about it.." Lori nodded and smiled,"Yes sir he has." Roach smiled and said,"the ATF is willing to deal with Jesse, could you tell him to meet at the courthouse....say Friday? around noon?" Lori smiled and nodded,"Yes sir I'll pass the word along...thank you." Roach nodded and patted her back, returning to the man. Lori continued through the doors, seeing Rosco behind a desk,"HEY!! pencil pusher.... I wanna see my husband." Rosco jumped, ignoring her comments about him being a pencil pusher. He led her down the stairs and opened the door for her, Lori smiled seeing Luke laying on the bunk.. "Got yer note Darlin' sorry I aint wrote to ya....seems B.L. signed me and you up for a home economics class....and I decided to take it...to learn to be a better wife,"She looked to her stomach,"And mother.." Luke got up and stood straight going to the bars. He laughed at the idea of B.L. doing that, it sounded like her. "I...I really am sorry for all this sweetheart..." Luke gently said hugging her through the bars. Lori pulled a seat up smiling to him, she took his hands through the bars and began,"First off.... Vance will NEVER fill your shoes.. he will never be as good as father as you would be or will be to our unborn child..Darlin; I aint blaming you for turning back to help yer cousins....he** if it would have been me and Cooter and B.L......or Dix.. Id turned back and did the same. No one is blaming you sides Bo and Jeb but they'll get over it... I will admit I ain't slept one night in that room... I've always fell alseep on the couch or in the recliner.. it don't feel right without you being there behind me every night to keep me warm. Luke, im going to tell you something I've never told ANY man in my life and its the god's honest truth....I WILL wait for you.... whether it be 20 or 30 years instead of ten...I'll wait. I'll hate it fer a child cause you wont be there but.... so help me god though that youngin WILL know who it's daddy is and the meaning and the expectancy of having the last name Duke.... to know its daddy is Lucas Keith Duke and not Vance Duke.....yes me and Vance have had our history and it has honestly has been better than mine and yours at times....but our love is stronger and he WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER take your place at that house.." The words had helped Luke, especially coming from his wife...the words he needed to hear, she'd spoke them with the kindest voice. He smiled and kissed her through the bars. They sat and talked, til it was growing late outside. Lori sighed and looked to Luke. He looked over to the far corner of the room and saw a blanket he looked to Lori and asked ever so sweetly,"Darlin' could you go over there and get me that blanket. Lori smiled and walked over to the corner beding over slowly, giggling some then slowly raising back up to turn to see Luke biting his bottom lip and watching as he tried to adjust his pants to loosen them on him. Lori sighed and looked in behind her at her bottom and then to Luke,"I hate what my momma gave me it always gets me into trouble." Luke............

Luke recieved the letter and sighed. He wondered though, HIS WIFE....AND HIS WIFE'S EX was living in UNDER the same roof....he tensed at the thought, and got sick all the more to his stomach fro writing to Dixie. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori still stayed in her room, plotting out how she was going to break the news to Luke that IF he was writing Dixie and NOT his own wife, that they would get a divorce. Lori had came out of the room only to go to the bathroom and sighed shaking her head. She'd head straight back to the bedroom and cry more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vance couldnt stand it so he wrote to Luke telling him that hell write to Dixie but not his own wife, SOME HUSBAND HE WAS! ~~~~ Luke had recieved Vances letter, and couldnt lie to him so he wrote........

Cooter nodded and looked to them,"Fellers..its pretty bad... I know Dixie has "feelings" for Luke...Lori speculates..and what strong relationship between Dixie and Lori there was is now gone.... I've seen Lori go around cursing Dixie, and Dixie doing the same. Dixie was writing something and it had Luke's name on it but I didn't know what it was." Coy and Vance shook their heads, Vance still loved Lori,"Well she's got too much to worry with so I ain't gonna tell her, something her and Luke should fight about." Coy nodded to Cooter's statement. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luke handed the note to the sheriff letting him drop it off to the post office. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Vance got home and saw the frustrated look on Lori's face he smiled. Then he smile went to a frown,"Hey Lori.....can I uhh...talk to you.?" Lori sighed and got up,"Yea?" Vance took her to the couch and said,"I gotta tell ya this... Luke and uhh. Dixie.... well Cooter said he saw some kinda note from Dixie going to Luke or was about him...." Lori's heart had fell 10 stories high and shattered. She had tears in her eyes and said,"I told him I loved him....he...he..lied to me..." Vance knew it was the hardest thing she'd ever have to hear and it broke her heart. Lori went to her's and Luke's bedroom and cried... looooong and hard. she never came out for supper that evening either.. Vance was highly pissed and upset......

Coy and Vance looked to Cooter and replied,"Lori is breaking down as is Daisy, we're pissed and Uncle Jesse had talked to Roach." Coy and Vance told Cooter about the talk Roach and Jesse had. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luke recieved the letters and read them, Bo and Jeb wanted to know who it was. Luke was reading it gritting his teeth and biting his lips. He never knew Dixie felt that much, then he thought,"Ohhh sh** if Lori found these his goose would be cooked." Luke looked to Bo and Jeb trying to read the letters. Later that day he got pen and paper and replied...... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori sighed and got dressed she went to that class that B.L. signed her and Luke up for.

Jeb plopped on the bed and cussed,"Shut Up!!! Bo!!! my lord!!!" Bo looked to Jeb and muttered, Luke shook his head and went to his bunk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ That night Lori didn't eat supper, she cleaned up and went straight to bed, when she changed she could feel a breeze blowing from the window.. it was shut but she could still feel it. She laid down and instantly grew colder. She didn' t have Luke sleeping in behind her to keep her warm. She cried herself to sleep.And she wasn't the only one either, Dixie did too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That next morning, Lori was up at the crack of dawn, outside on the porch drinking coffee. She was in her sweats and all, she didn't feel like gettin dressed. Lori saw a strange black car pull up to the house and a man in a suite get out. She stood up and looked, Agent Roach looked to her and nodded,"Mrs. Duke...is Jesse home?" Lori nodded and went in the house getting Uncle Jesse. Uncle Jesse nodded and looked to Roach,"Agent..what brings you here?" "Well, Jesse I wanted to come tell you I am sorry for court. I was forced into making the arguement for no bond. And I'm sorry that I had to.I've been thinking as I told my superior who thinks you are out of buisness now that I know you could have others drive for you or you could drive yourself Jesse I know making moonshine goes way back in your family but I also know how much those boys mean to you I don't know if you or the ATF would go for any deals but would you consider going out of 'business' perminately if we could work out a deal to get the boys sentences lighter?" Jesse nodded and replied,"If it'll help me find out it can help my boys...ill be interested." Roach nodded,"yeah I can't promise anything but if you are willing to talk I'l let the proper people know. Trust me they want you out of buisness not those boys. Jesse nodded and smiled to Roach... ok, you've got me.." Roach chuckled and nodded,"Ill see what I can do.." Roach got in his car and left. Jesse went inside and talked to the others, everyone had high hopes too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the garage........

Cooter jumped 10 feet in the air as they all yelled at him. He smiled and shook his head looking to the others. He took a seat by B.L. and Daisy on a haystack, Lori and Dixie fightin to get beside Luke on one and Hilery beside of Bo. Cooter looked around and said,"All this fer me?" Lori nodded and smiled smacking Dixie in back the head behind Luke,"Sure is.." Dixie reached around and pulled to Lori's bra it making the loudest smacking noise in the world, Lori got embarrassed as Luke looked to her with a raised eyebrow. Cooter laughed and shook his head. He didn't know which one of the girls would be lucky enough to grab Luke but Im sure they'd fight til death over it. Poor Ole' Hil liked Bo and it was soo obvious too. Cooter.........

When they led the boys down to the cells, they allowed visitors. Uncle Jesse and everyone went down to see the boys. Lori stood in the back waiting. Dixie and B.L. was still embarrassed from earlier this morning, with the doctors visit and all. Luke saw Lori and the tears, it was all he could do to retain himself. Roach had heard of their wedding and had felt terribly bad. Dixie looked to Luke and was in tears, Jeb was looking to Dixie and comforting her. B.L. was shaking her head, Daisy was going into fits and Jesse was torn up. But he'd talk to Roach though, he sighed and knew it would break the family generation but he'd do it for his boys. Lori finally made it up to Luke and was in tears,"Da** bars!!" Was all Luke could say, he couldn't get to her to comfort her and it killed him to see her cry like that. Knowing that he could only try to comfort her was gonna have to make due. Lori looked to him and whispered,"I love you..." And somehow those words stung him, knowing he couldn't lay beside her at night, or he couldn't be there for her when his child was born. He sighed and sweetly replied it back to her. telling her it'll be ok and all. Lori felt she should be in behind those bars as well she helped them at one time. Lori sighed and saw that Roach was giving her a sorrowful look saying,"Ma'am time ta go.... come again tomorrow." The words hurt Lori as she looked to Bo ad Jeb and hugged them through the bars, kissing Luke one last time. Luke watched her go and felt that he should be shot right now.. Roach looked to her and said,"Im awefully sorry Mrs. Duke..truely I am." Lori nodded and walked on out were she saw Jesse waiting on her. Uncle Jesse took her by the arm gently and led her to her car.....

Lori got in and there was silence among the car. "Well...proof enough fer ya Dix..B.L.??" The girls only nodded and hung their heads. Cooter was about to die laughing. "member that night me and him stayed in Jonhson County?? bout ohh say a week or so ago?? well what does that paper say how far along am I?? ya'll should be ashamed of yerselves." Dixie looked to Lori and quietly spoke,"So uh...you tellin Luke now or what?" Lori shook her head,"If Jesse can bail them out I'm waiting." Dixie nodded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori made a pitstop before the jail to the post office, when she opened a letter that said,"To Mr. and Mrs. Duke..." She began to get concerned, but when she saw Home Economics clas, and included the following: 1. Parenting 2.Economy 3.budgeting 4.shopping--groceries (nutrition) 5. the needs of a family Lori climbed in and showed the letter to B.L. as it had the person who refered her and Luke to the class. B.L. swallowed hard and sighed, laughing a shaky laugh. Lori shook her head and read that it started tomorrow, at 10:00. Lori sighed and drove to the jail. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When they arrived at the courthouse Lori and the others met up with Jesse....

Dixie nodded. She was on the verge of tears herself for all the boys but didn't want to cry here. She was waiting on Lori who had dried her eyes and looked through the bars kissing Luke. She walked up and looked to Lori,"Cousin....Im gonna need you to come by the house..I gotta talk to you." Lori looked to Dixie and gave her a weirded out look,"O--kay??" Dixie walked on ahead and went out to B.L. and Cooter. Lori walked out with Uncle Jesse were he proceeded to tell them what was going on and such. Lori looked to Cooter, B.L. and Dixie who were glaring at her for some odd reason. Lori walked over to them,"Mind tellin me what ya'lls problems are?" B.L. looked to Lori and screamed,"YOU WHORE!" Lori looked around and looked to B.L.,"What is wrong with you?" B.L. looked to her and retorted,"YOU ARE HAVING A CHILD BY ANOTHER MAN!!!" Lori looked to Dixie and her mouth dropped,"You dirty little no good sorry lowlife that I call a cousin.. you wanna know whos it is??? come to the doctor with me tomorrow and you'll see... cause then I'll make a pitstop to the jail to tell get Luke to verify my story." B.L. and Dixie both wanted to go to hear this one. Everyone got in and left. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the Davenport Farm B.L........... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the Duke farm Lori had helped with the supper, seeing as it was only going to be her and Jesse. Vance and Coy were out visiting sick family relatives and Daisy was at work, late shift. Jesse looked to Lori and asked,"What was that all about this mornin?" Lori looked to Jesse and sighed,"Uncle Jesse, I got pregnant before the wedding night and Luke thinks otherwise... Dixie and B.L. believe the same and its all screwed up. I gotta go to the doc tomorrow just to prove its his kid!" Jesse looked at Lori, "Did Luke say he thought you'd been wiht someone else?" Lori looked to Uncle Jesse,"Luke hasn't but B.L. and Dixie have." Jesse gave her a slight grin, "You should be worried about your husband not your cousins opinions." Lori smiled and nodded, finishing up supper she cleaned the dishes and went to the couch to set down. Uncle Jesse had went to bed. Lori had the lamp by the recliner on, and sat there thinking of what her and Luke would do with this child if it lived. She knew it was Luke's and she was glad it was his. Lori fell asleep in the recliner..that next morning......

Both Lori and Dixie were looking at each other Lori looked to Dixie and shook her head,"Figured youd be here." Dixie retorted back,"Well see I thought you'd be out scewing some other guy tonight and I figured Luke needed someone." Lori looked to Dixie and said,"Ohhh I already did that, by the way tell Jeb I'd like my underwear back." Lori rolled her eyes, she thought how stupid could Dixie be. Dixie looked to Lori like she was on crack! Lori saw Jesse talking to the officers, Lori went downstairs to were the boys were at and looked to Luke who happened to look up at her. Dixie had tumbled down the stairs to go and see "Jeb". Lori rolled her eyes and went to Luke's cell and propped up against it and said,"Welp... when you say if its gonna be anyone gonna get caught runnin shine in this house its gonna be me, you sure do mean it don't ya?" Luke sighed and got up going to the bars,"Im sorry, I couldn't let Bo or Jeb get caught and not me, all cause I wasn't paying attention, because I was thinking about why you tricked me to get you pregnant!" Dixie was enjoying this wayy to much. Lori looked to Dixie and looked to Luke,"Soon as eavedropper over there leaves I'll tell ya what I was trying to explain to ya before!" Dixie looked to Lori and said,"Well surely to me cousin anything you can say to Luke you can say to me, Bo, and Jeb." B.L. and Cooter were up top listening in and snickering. Lori looked to Dixie,"If I wanted my business spread around Hazzard, no worser than what it already is, then I'll tell you, cause I know you you'll run to B.L. and flap yer jaws and she'll run her big mouth to the county!" B.L. was insulted and her mouth dropped. Cooter laughed. Uncle Jesse looked to them and shooed them home. B.L and Cooter went outside and said,"I think we may have a married couple, a cousin, and two friends in jail here soon." Cooter agreed and they ran back to the garage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori looked to Luke and shook her head,"You are aware just how MUCH time you'll do now right?" Luke swallowed and nodded,"Well yes.....I've been told all this before." Lori nodded and sighed looking through the bars,"Why Luke??" Luke looked to her and answered honestly,"You....I wasn't paying attention..." Lori sighed and looked to Bo and Jeb and said,"Sorry fellers I got ya'll caught..." Bo and Jeb looked to her then glared to Luke," It's A-OK Lor....." Lori saw the looks and lowered her head. Dixie looked to Luke adn gave him that same look she gave him that night he took her in his arms. it went Unmissed by Lori. Luke looked to her the samy way, and ohhh boy folks. Lori looked to Luke and said,"Ohh...ta give ya something to think bout..why yer spending time in jail..me and this youngin be at home waitin...I got pregnant wayyy BEFORE the wedding! I went to Doc's and he told me...I've not been going to the Doc's here lately because of YOU..I was afraid you'd find out and get mad??!!!!" Luke's face was burning up,"Y..you mean that's way you told me you had it taken care of?" Lori nodded and said,"I didn't want to tell you because I was afraid I'd lose this one like Caitlyn Marie..last time I was at Doc's though, he said it was doing fine and growing normally, but seems to me you really could care less about me or the kid...told ya something was going on with you and Dixie.." Luke knew she saw look and had to tell her,"Look.... before me and you got married or was even seeing each other....Dixie was in a tight spot, with Tommy Rogers, and I saw her by the road... took her home and stayed with her...nothing happened though I swear to it, thats why..uh...me and Tommy fought though..." Lori nodded and looked to him,"Ok..guess I aint got no control over one situation, but the other..... you fought him to protect Dixie??? don't tell me you don't feel something for her...cause I know you do...you wouldn't have fought him if you didn't have feelings for her." Luke looked to Lori and said,"Yer being unreasonable....If he would've done the same to you or B.L. I would've gotten him too and you know that.." Lori sighed, he did have a point, if his family was endagered he'd fight til death, but she still knew SOMETHING was going on between them two, but she agreed and nodded. Luke looked to Lori and said,"But..... I guess its too late to say im sorry fer over-reactin at the house, I guess I was just afraid that the same thing that happened to Caitlyn Marie will happen to this one, whatever it may have been." Lori sighed and replied,"Too late ta think of that now darlin', I guess I better go.." Luke reached through the bars and tried to hold her as much as he could without letting a tear slip, Lori let hers fall and looked to him. Luke............... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile Dixie was back at home.........

Luke arrived at the site and started drinking the shine. When Bo and Jeb arrived, Luke was ready to go so he took off, leaving the radio off, Bo and Jeb were trying to catch up to him, When the blue lights flashed. Agent Roach was blocking their way and caught them. Luke had turned to see where Bo and Jeb was. He saw the lights of the cruisers. He checked the radio whic was turned off. Luke cursed! He turned the radio on to hear Agrent Roach radio for him. Luke sighed and cursed. Agent Roach said, "Duke we have your cousins and the load. We know yo are involved. Turn yourself in now or face the consequences!" Luke swore! He flipped radio cahnnels and tried to raise Bo or Jeb with no luck. Luke turned the car and headed back t where Bo and JEb were stopped/ He saw the shine on the ground and saw them be put into the patrol car. Luke thougth of Lori and his expected child IF she told him the truth. He knew they atarted the run together and would finish it. He said aloud, "Lori, forgive me. I got to go to them!" he headed back to the apot where BO and Jeb where being arrested to turn himself in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` They notified Uncle Jesse who went down to see the boys. Bo and Jeb pointed to Luke saying it was his fault. Luke looked to uncle Jesse and told him. Uncle Jesse looked to them and said,"Well get use to these cell walls boys..." Uncle Jesse the.......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile Lori had stayed in hers and Luke's room listening, alomost asleep she heard the ATF run a liscense plate CNH-320.She knew that was the General's Tags and likely Luke driving him! Lori ran through the house and got in Midnight heading towards the jail house. ....

Before Luke could answer Lori sprang through the house dressed in her normal t-shirt and sweats and sprang off the couch and on to Luke's back,"HEY EVERYBODY!!!!!" Luke was glad he had good reflexes as he caught Lori in mid air. He mumbled, "Sh--! What if I'd dropped you?" Lori giggled and kissed him with a big ole smack! "I wouldve fell and went BOOM!" Luke shook his head and said, "Yes you would have!" Uncle Jesse looked to Lori with his eyes wide and his mouth held tightly shut. He tried sooo hard not to laugh cause to watch her dance around the living room then the kitchen was unbearable. He looked to Luke,"Although I don't quite remember yer aunt doing that.... Luke, is she ok??" Luke gritted his teeth before answering. Then, he replied, "I certainly hope so, Uncle Jesse, I certainly hope so!" Lori walked back in from the outside and said,"Its a tad bit nippy.... im cold now...coffee!!!" Luke made a high dive for the coffee pot tripping over Uncle Jesse's chair trying to keep her away from it,"NO NO COFFE FOR YOU...ITS BAD FOR LORI!!" Uncle Jesse was literally flipping back in his chair laughing. Luke looked to his uncle and shook his head, he then picked her up and carried her to the room and plopped her in the bed. "You stay here.... don't move." Lori bit her finger and nodded sticking her tongue out. Luke said,"I swear I...I'll never.... just..are all women that bad with marriage?" Uncle Jesse was about to reply when he saw Lori poke her head up through the kitchen window, scaring the piss outta luke. Lori giggled and said,"HEY! LUKAS!!!! COME OUTSIDE AND PLAY ITS BEAUTIFUL!!!" Luke rolled his eyes at Jesse, and replied, "I'll, .... ah, ..... be, ..... right back!" Luke ran outside screaming after her,"LOREN CRYSTAL DAVENPORT!!! WILL YOU GET BACK OVER HERE IN THIS HOUSE NOW!!!" Uncle Jesse was laughing as Bo adn Jeb came in as did the others. they looked to one another and then to Luke carrying Lori in his arms by his side, Lori giggled and went,"Hoooowdy fellers!!" Everyone cracked up. Luke..............

Cooter dropped his head and was thinking,"Ohhhh sh**!," but instead said,"Luke was uhh checking on Jeb to make sure he didn't drink tooo much." Lori nodded and said,"On count of Dixie." Cooter swallowed hard and sighed,"This gonna cause ya'll to fight?" Lori answered honeslty sipping the coke,"Probably..." Cooter shook his head and sipped his beer. Luke saw that Lori was back and sat beside her Lori looked to him and shook her head. Luke was thinking,"What have I done now?. and then he thought again,"Ohhh lord maybe she knows why I talked to Jeb.. sh** im deader than 4:00!" Lori looked to Luke and then to Dixie and said,"Im going home k?" and got up and left. He followed her out side. "Lori. What? I would have been ok to have stayed home tonight. You are the one who wanted to come here. I came to make sure you wre ok. I can leave too?" Lori nodded to him,"Yea...I aint stoppin ya.." She got in and pulled out heading home. Luke followed her, as they arrived the house light to their room was on. They tried to make their way through the house with less noise as possible but didn't succeed. Luke hit a chair and Lori bumped into him, both chuckling and giggling. Lori slipped in their room and tripped over the night stand,"I swear someone spiked my Coke!!! hehehe!!" Luke tried not to let her know he was laughing and was glad neither one had turned on the light yet. Lori could sense he was laughing at her and twirled around only to hit him, she laughed and went,"OWW!! YOU HURT MY FACE!! Luke grabbed her arms to keep her from falling. "I hurt you? You ran into me! By the way why were you only drinking Coke? or was it spiked with something?" He was beginnign to wonder since she was acting a bit giddy. He thought after several beers if anyone should be tripping over their feet it should be him. Lori bit her tongue and doubled over in laughter,"I don't know!!! hehehehe!!!" Lori looked to him and walked around as if to inspect him. "Luke?? are you like a machine..cetain buttons..,"She smacked his rear end,"You push..you get some sort of reaction.." Luke gave her a strange look. She was acting a bit tipsy, but replied, "What kind reaction you lookin' for, Darlin'?" Lori looked a bit sly and replied,"A different reaction than the ones ive always gotten hotstuff..." Luke grinned from ear to ear, picked her up and put her on the bed. He began to undress her as he proceeded to nibble every spot on her body that he knew or thought might be ticklish! Lori squirmed and squealed as he did. Luke tried not to spoil the moment by saying,"Hush baby..or you'll wake the whole county up!" Lori giggled and squirmed more, screaming into a pillow. Luke bout near passed out on her. Lori was giggling and sighing and groaning all at once. Luke was fightin tryin not to laugh at her giggling, it sounded like a squirrel. Lori jumped a little and squealed,"Ouch!! dang it!" Luke looked to her and continued,"What?" "that hurt" "im sorry" "can't you control it no better?" " im tryin!" "OUCH!!" "what now?" "you dided it again" "dided?" "shut up!" Luke sighed and laughed as he was finished for the nigth. He kissed her as she lay asleep on his arm snoring. ~~~~~~~~~~~` THAT NEXT MORNING......

In the house, Lori and Daisy heard the General Lee fire up and leave Lori looked to Daisy and said,"Well nice of him to tell me." Daisy laughed and shook her head. Lori'd get even with him... she figured if he could leave without notice so could she. She did the dishes and waited for them to get back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ B.L. meanwhile had heard of this Home Economics class, even gots to were you take a baby home with ya, B.L. grinned evily and headed to town, signing Luke and Lori Duke on the list laughing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` When Luke arrived home he kissed Lori and went to the bathroom. Lori was in her jeans and a low cut tank top, with her boots on. She walked out and left, her and Daisy both. She went to the Boar's Nest and saw Cooter. Cooter smiled and hugged her,"Howdy Cousin...seems like ages since I last seen ya." Lori smiled and said,"Well Cooter, its only been a day or so." Cooter nodded and said,"The house was quiet this morning..." Lori laughed and nodded, ordering a coke. Cooter looked to her,"Uhh I saw Luke here while ago.." Lori nodded,"I know it.... He never bothered to tell me either... just took off." Cooter whislted low and said,"I take it thats why yer here huh?" Lori nodded and smiled. they sat and talked fer a while. Lori had told Jesse she'd grab her a bite at the Boar's Nest, she was sorta hoping she run into B.L. or Dixie or Cooter. Uncle Jesse agreed and all. Luke however didn't like the fact that she took off and never told him so he....

Jesse looked to her and smiled and replied,"Well he does love you and he probably didn't think you were mad at him." Lori sighed and nodded, Luke still hadn't got up yet. Luke was still laying in the bed waiting on Lori to return when she didnt he set up and covered up staring at the edge of the bed. Lori sighed and went back in. "Luke??" Luke looked to her and sighed,"I wanted to hold you near me last night and you wouldnt let me.... you hate me." Lori sighed and sat her coffee on the edge of the table,"No sweetie I dont I jut dont want you to snap at me like that.... it aint gonna kill me to run some runs with you." Luke sighed and didnt feel like fighting he only nodded and tried to get up, but the sight of seeing Lori take her slip off caught him. Lori smiled and said,"Wanna finish what you started this mornin?" Luke smiled wide and said,"More than you know.." Lori laid back and the bed began to shake. Uncle Jesse could hear the muffled moans and giggles and growls coming from their room and shook his head laughing.

Luke sighed as he helped Uncle Jesse unload the last of the shine, taking the money. Luke looked to Jesse and said,"Do I honestly have to go back home...I know she's plottin my death right now....." Jesse only laughed and patted his shoulder. Luke whined and climbed back in. ~~~~~~~~~~ When they arrived home Luke out and smelled the food. Bo looked to him and said,"If she poisoned it cause of you, I'll murder you!" Luke gulped and walked in. Lori was setting on the couch reading. Luke sighed and smiled, good she wasn't pissed anymore. OR so he thought she wasn't. They all sat down Luke beside of Lori. Dasiy, Bo, Jeb on one side. Luke, Lori, and Coy on the other, and Vance at one end as was Uncle Jesse on the other. They said grace and began to eat. They all smiled to Lori and thanked her. Luke was trying to thank her under the table by running his hand up her leg only to find that he was getting smacked back. He tried playing footsie with her, she kicked him in the shin causing him to choke once. When everyone was finished eating Lori did the dishes and didn't speak to Luke. Daisy was laughing on the inside but didn't show it on the outside. After supper, Luke followed Lori to the porch and sat beside her he pulled her close to him and tried to get her in the mood and started kissing on her neck and rubbing her shoulders, Lori admitted it..it drove her crazy..she felt the desire to tear into him and have a go with him right there on the porch, but instead she got up and sighed walking in. When bedtime rolled around it was like being at the Walton's house, everyone saying good night and all. Lori changed into a short slip..and Luke in his boxers, he took one glance at her and shuddered, he hoped and prayed that she wouldn't be mad when she laid down. Lori laid down and turned the light off sleeping away from Luke. Luke was dying as he looked down at the covers on his side.... he whined and tried to go to sleep. That next morning........

Before Dixie could answer they heard Lori coming she was humming Dixie when she walked down the stairs with her suticases, she only had two. she had everything else packed but shed get them later. Luke looked to Dixie and smiled,"Reckon we'll see ya'll later." Lori smiled and walked out telling Dixie goodbye. Luke walke dout and sighed looking to Dixie and smiling. Dixie's heart melted. Lori and Luke climbed in and sped off towards the farm. Once they arrived, Lori climbed out and looked to Luke and shook her head laughing,"Aint lived in this house fer 9 years, and now im married, to the man my mama said I should settle down with.. funny aint it?" Luke grins and sorta laughs a little, then replies, "Well, I always heard God had a since of humor. As much as I've ran from mariage and all, it seems a little strange to me too." Lori smiled and got her stuff out of the trunk seeing Jesse in the kitchen, he smiled to her and said,"Welcome back home Mrs. Duke." Luke smiled and looked to her, Lori looked to Uncle Jesse and smiled saying,"Glad ta be back Uncle Jesse." Lori went to their room and saw it rearranged,"Woo.... looks at tag bit different there.." Luke nodded and took her things, laying them on the bed.. Lori smiled and sat on the bed looking to him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That night before supper, Daisy was at work and Uncle Jesse sat at the tables with the boys and Lori. Uncle Jesse looked to the boys and said,"Alright, Jeb,Bo ya'll ride with me.. Coy, Vance, you'll run blocker fer Luke, and Luke you'll be in the runner runnin the load, with me Bo, and Jeb in behind with another load. We're heading to Chicasaw and to Capitol City fellers." The boys all nodded and Lori looked stumped. Luke kissed her and was the last one out the door,everyone else was loading some jugs and things up. Lori looked to Luke and said,"But...but... Why can't I go? That aint fair I wanna go!!" Luke led her away from the others. He was trying to keep this their business and not involve teh whole clan. "Look, Honey, I never like you running shine before you were my wife and now that you are I won't have it. First, there is no need for you two. Second they are getting too close to us. Third, I just don't want you too." Lori looked to him and her mouth dropped open and quickly sut with her arms crossed,"Luke Duke!!! WHAT exactly DO you expect me to do?? Stay home, cook, clean, barefoot and pregnant at the stove??" Luke knew the others were bound to have heard her. If she wanted them involved so be it. "I EXPECT you to be my wife! Not out here running ridges! It is too dangerous right now If anyone is gonna go to prison for running shine it will be ME NOT YOU! You ARE NOT GOING! I won't stand for it,i said NO, YOU are MY wife and will LISTEN to ME!" Lori drew the line at the last statement,"Well... YOU are my HUSBAND and you aint the only one that wears the PANTS at this house! I don't take to kindly to be given demands darlin you bes be learnin that right real quick for I KNOCK it into you, I"m your WIFE not your property! not your slave,I may be your wife but I dont' have to listen to YOU if I so very well choose not to!" "I ain't demanding nothing, Lori, but you AIN'T GOIN!!!" Bo and Jeb was to the side, Jeb had bet Bo that they wouldnt fight but Bo had thought different. Bo looked to Jeb and said,"Told ya they would!!!" Jeb smirked,"Wait'll he gets home though, it'll be water under the bridge!" Bo rolled his eyes and went to the runner waiting. "Well love birdies are we done yet?" Luke looked to Lori and sighed,"Look...I just dont want ya to go sweetheart.." Luke kissed her on the cheek and headed towards Bo and the others. Lori stomped off into the house, changing into an ACDC shook me all night long t-shirt and sweats, she pulled her hair back in a messy bun and went to the kitchen, getting the chicken out to fix supper.

Dixie sighed and got up, going to the kitchen to make breakfast for the two. ~~~~~~~~ Bo and Jeb had awoken and went to the house to get cleaned up and dressed. Lori would be moving in today and they could already imagine the arguments, who's gonna run the shine in the house?? who tells who to do what.... Bo laughed at the thought and shook his head. Vance remembering his times with Lori had been just that..memories. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dawn was breaking just outside of Hazzard in the small hotel room as Lori stirred in the bed and smiled looking to the ring on her finger and then to the sleeping man that lay beside her. She smiled hearing him snore and go on. Lori crawled out and went to the bathroom, she was beginning to get the morning sickness, as quietly as she could, she did her business and took a quick shower. Luke had stirred and strechted and yawned in the bed before rolling out, his hair sticking out everywhere. He scratched his head and pulled his clothes on. He looked down to his hand and sighed, seeing the ring... praying things would work out. He smiled when he saw Lori step out wrapped in a towel unaware that he was awake. He watched her get dressed and smiled to her as she turned around blood red. She sighed and smiled jumping back on the bed and hugging him. He smelled the jasmine and vanilla and had always loved that smell. Lori looked to him and nodded,"We best be going...I gotta go home and pack my things up and we gotta get it to the farmhouse. " Luke nodded and smiled. They walked out and kissed each other climbing in. Lori sped on to the Davenport farm. When she arrived she saw Dixie still at home, she sighed and climbed out looking to Luke. She walked in and smiled to Dixie,"Im sure gonna miss ya cuz.." Dixie nodded and smiled, looking to Luke.. Lori went to pack, whislt Luke and Dixie talked.......

Lori was tapping her finger on her mouth and said,"Might we go ahead and get a divorce then??" Luke shook his head and said, "You can't believe that old wives tale can you???? You are stuck with me." Lori laughed and looked to Dixie,"Sorry cousin.... hes mine!" Dixie replied, "Never argued the point Cousin!"She added "You seem the one doubting it!" Lori laughed and replied,"We'll see whos doubtin what here soon....." Lori winked to Luke and took his hand, running out to Midnight. Luke looked to her and said,"A little rushy arent we?" Lori sighed and climbed in,"Fer what I have planned yes." Luke shuddered and smiled widely. You see, Lori had the candles lite at the "Good" hotel, she had the blue teddy in the bathroom waiting. When the two arrived Lori led him to the room, were it smelled like coconuts from the candles. Luke smiled and looked to her. Lori led him to the bed and pushed him back she whispered in his ear,"Ill be right back sugar.." Luke was already hurting, why did he have to wait, he stripped to his boxers but when he saw Lori step out in the blue teddy he knew what was about to happen was worth waiting for! Lori strutted over to the bed and as soon as she got there the teddy came off as did his boxers...... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THAT NEXT MORNING....

Lori looked around and never drunk anything. Luke walked back over to her as he watched Jeb talk to Dixie and Dixie must have approved. Luke wrapped Lori in his arms and laid his head on her shoulder, "We did it honey.." Loir smiled and put her hand on her stomach, hoping she wasn't pregnant, knowing that she was though,"Yea..we sure did." Uncle Jesse stood up and said a few words,"Now I know that these two youngins here have a history together, but hey they must love each other, everytime something bad happened tween em theyd always come right back and still love each other, a toast to the new bride and groom... may you both be HAPPY....." Luke and Lori caught the last part and smiled shaking their heads. Lori smiled and got up with her guitar. Lori screamed and was in her ACDC t-shirt, highway to hell, and was in her jeans. She managed to curl her hair as it hung loose and had her makeup on. She pulled her levi jacket on and rolled her sleeves up,"I aint got no time to fool around with ya'll i gotta go." She had her dress out in the car and climbed in speeding off. Cooter looked to them and pointed,"CHANGE....NOW!!" The girls laughed and changed. When they were done they all went to their cars and got in pulling out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Uncle Jesse waited with Luke and smiled,"Todays the day son..you ready?" Luke took a deep breath and replied, "Well, I regret a couple of things about last night, but, ah, yeah. Yeah, I am. More so than I ever thought I would be." Uncle Jesse nodded and said,"pre wedding squabble?" Luke nodded and said,"You could say that.." The judge came in and set his bail,Uncle Jesse paid it and got him out. Uncle Jesse ran him home so he could take a quick shower and get ready. When Luke stepped out, in his tuxedo that Lori loved soo much, he stepped out and let out a shaky sigh. Uncle Jesse smiled and nodded, they headed to the church. Lori was on her way whilst everyone else was there. Rosco had his spped trap out and had caught Lori in it. Lori cussed and sped on. Rosco was trying to catch her when she crossed the county line to chickomohony and looke dot the clock, she was LATE AND BAD!!! she was spose to have been there an hour ago. Everyone at the church was waiting. Luke was ancy, and was sweating. Someone from the back jumped up and hollered,"I knew she wouldn't show up!!" Luke had thought she woudnt and realized that maybe they wasnt mean tto be. As everyone stood up Lori swung Midnight in and ran inside busting the doors wide open. Everyone gasped and looked to her. Luke looked sorta smug, and told Bo,"I knew she'd be here." Lori caught the eyes on her and her t-shirt. "Listen ya'll I wouldve came dressed as a regualr bride would be but I guess all that matters is that Im here." Lori stepped up and looked to Luke, in his tux. She smiled and sweetly said, taking his hand,"You look amazing sweetheart." Luke looked at her still in her jeans, "You do too. Take you're time. I'll be here!" Lori looked to Luke and said,"You really want me to change?? right now? and here i thought you wanted ti over and done with? I want you to be happy. You didn't plan to be in jeans. Go change!" Lori smiled and ran off saying as she ran,"Be right back ya'll!!!" Everyone sat down and waited. 10 mintues later, the music began and Luke's heart raced. Lori stepped out to the isle, with the veil draped over her face, a soft pink strapless dress that came to the top of her feet, white open toed high heels, the dress had one pink rose in the middle of it at the top of it. Lori smiled and walked up. Luther giving her away. They went through the whole thing, and as Luke was placing the ring on her finger, he wondered could they stick to their vows.... Lori was wondering the same thing. The precher pronounced them the new Mr. and Mrs. Luke Duke and said he may now kiss the bride, Luke raised her veil and smiled to her, kissing her. Everyone was looking at them amazed and followed them out, Lori then proceeded to change as did everyone else and they headed for the Boar's Nest....

Lori had all her wonderful gifts put up and was actually enjoying the times with Daisy, Dixie, and B.L. Cooter pulled up and both him and Bo got out. Walking in they looked to the ground and said,"Uhhh Lori....we've uh..got some bad news... they may not be a wedding tomorrow...more like s funeral.." Lori's heart dropped in her chest,"Why..." Cooter said quite frankly like,"Luke's been arrested fer fightin Tommy..." Dixie looked to Lori and hung her head in shame and let out a little eep sound. Lori looked to Dixie and quickly thought something was up. she sighed and said," Uncle Jesse know?" Cooter and Bo said,"We was hopin you'd go down and see him...Uncle Jesse dont know.... We know its bad luck to see the bride before the wedding but... this is serious." Lori nodded and got up and changed into her jeans and an acdc t-shirt. She pulled her jacket on and looked to B.L. and Dixie who was setting up and watching,"We'll stay home and clean up Lor.." Dixie replied all to soon for Lori and she shook her head and stormed out, al he-- has broke loose in Hazzard folks! Cooter got on the CB to Uncle Jesse, Uncle Jesse sighed and said,"Well tell him I'll be down in the morning to bail him out.. get him out for the wedding" Lori got on,"IF he makes it out alive!!" Uncle Jesse winced at the tone and sighed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luke was in the cell, sobered up to. he felt his lip and winced as it hurt. Lori charged through the jail doors and made her way down to the bottom. She saw Luke behind bars and spoke firmly,"I let you throw a bachelor party and THIS is what happens?" Luke looked down at the floor and tried to think of something to say to her. It wasn't working. Everything he came up with didn't seem enough, finally he said, "I'm sorry. I really didn't plan it this way either." Lori sighed and saw the stupid grin on Rosco's face, Lori gave him a deat glare that would make the devil shake in his cowboy boots, Rosco nodded and went upstairs. Lori looked to Luke through the bars, pulling a seat up smelling the roguish perfume on him,"HOLD UP A MINTUE COWBOY...just WHAT exactly HAVE you been doing??" Luke looked confused and asked her,"What are YOU talking bout?" Lori reached through the bar and yanked on his shirt,"Smell that????? dont ask me WHAT am I talking bout!!!" Luke now knew what she was talking about. He must have perfume on him from Mabel's girls. "Lori, someone, I figure Bo had a couple of Mabel's girls stopped by." Lori looked enraged,"WHOS GIRLS???????!!!!!!" Luke swollowed hard. He hoped, thought that everyone knew Miss Mabel. He didn't want to explain this to Lori. Not now and especially through bars. Rosco desided that he'd help Luke out, "Why I thought everyone knew Miss Mabel the rolling Madam." Lori sighed and glared at Rosco,"I KNOW WHO SHE IS!!!! THE QUEEN OF THE WHORES!!!!! BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT!!!" Rosco stepped back up and quietly went to set down. Luke sighed and took a couple steps backwards hoping she couldn't reach him if she desided that she wanted to. Lori looked to Luke and said,"Who had strippers come in??? apprently I aint good enough fer ya!!!" "Lori, I swear I had nothing to do with them showing up. I had no idea they were coming. I don't know who's responsible but I sort of figure it was Bo at least in part." Lori nodded seeing the look on his face,"How'd you get the busted lip?" Luke looked down and touched it again, jumping slightly,"Well....Tommy, walked in and i was in the bathroom hoping that they'd be gone by the time I got back, and Tommy grabbed my shirt..... Me and him had a go around earlier and well... we had another I fought him and the cops.... and thats why im here." Lori shook her head," I bet this ties in with Dixie somehow...It don't surprise me in the least bit....no wonder she acted the way she did at the house.." Luke looks confused, "Dixie? Why do you think it has anything to do with Dixie? He started on me when I was going back to the backroom." Luke knew no one knew why he and Rogers had gotten into it. "What do you mean? How she acted at the house??" He added Lori sighed and said,"Cause she has feelings for you and you more thn likely liked her or still like her." Lori added to her statement,"Had a shameful look on her face, like she was HIDING something." Luke wasn't in the mood for this tonight. He sighed, "I told you, Dixie is like a sister to me. Like you are to Bo and Jeb, which is why by the way they moved their beds into the barn til we could build another room. CAuse you are like a sister to THEM and they know I"d like to share my bed adn room with YOU, my wife." Luke replied, "Well, I don't know what's going on with her, but I told ya where I stand." Lori didn't accept the answer but agreed anyways with him. She smiled and nodded to him seeing his lip she touched it softly with her finger. Luke sighed and looked her in the eyes, Lori reached through the bars and kissed the sore spot Luke groaned a bit as it hurt. Lori sighed and said,"Uncle Jesse will be here in the morning to get you out so you can make it to the church house." Luke smiled and nodded rubbing her arms. Lori smiled and kissed him again,"I gotta go home and get up early see ya tomorrow..hopefully." Luke nodded and kissed her again, going to lay down. Lori walked up and had returned to home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` That next morning........

Later that day, when the men were all arriving at the Boar's Nest. Uncle Jesse and Luther were all at a table nearst the bar. Bo was out back with the strippers that arrived. He told them were to hide and to get ready for when they rolled the cake out. Luke was setting inside when Tommy came in. Luke saw him and pushed him back out the door. "I gotta score ta settle with you..." Luke drew his fist back and knocked Tommy out,"Stay away from Dixie don't come near her again." Tommy looked to Luke and said,"Why should you care fer her?? yer gettin marrid to her cousin..." Luke knew if Lori found out about this she'd more than likely call the wedding off. Luke backed off and shook his head going back in. Tommy sat outside fer awhile. Bo smiled as he saw Luke and walked in..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile at the farm, the women were in the house and all was quaint, gossip was spreading around the room and Lori was bored out of her mind. When Dixie mentioned that they should let Lori open the gifts, she was half asleep on the couch.... B.L...........
