  1. Definitely a great form of therapy in times of emotional need. You are a wise man. That last batch of shine is working well.
  2. Tennessee is NORTH of Hazzard
  3. show
  4. I forgot about that Hazzard connection. Thanks Hoss. I'm sorry for your loss Garrett. You must be going through what I went through when Charlie Daniels died.
  5. The way I see it: Everything that exists in your mind exists....otherwise you wouldn't have used the word "exists" to begin with. Conclusion: Hazzard is real.
  6. Funeral was yesterday and just wrapping up some loose ends and recuperating today. It's been a whirlwind.
  7. Thanks. I'm going to be away from HN for awhile. I'm just swamped and overwhelmed right now. Might not be back until Sunday.
  8. I just finished rereading all these posts and I'm glad the thread didn't get deleted as I requested. Unfortunately tragedy has struck again. After it got dark my dad called and told me that my mom never came in after her evening walk. He can barely get around so I went over and found her dead in the yard in a dark spot that the street light doesn't illuminate. It was probably a heart issue or a stroke but unless they do an autopsy I may never know. From what I understand they don't do autopsies on elderly people with a lot of health issues. It's only been 6 hours since it happened so it's still sinking in.
  9. True but any actor could have played a greedy old man. I just didn't get why they didn't find someone who looked more like Boss.
  10. The General Lee arrive at the still site first. Bo, Luke, Bill and Ernie climbed out. "Hmm, Jesse should have gotten here before us" said Luke. Ernie responded right away. "I think I hear a vehicle." A moment later Jesse's Ford pulled in and parked behind the bushes beside the Charger. He got out and grunted. "I haven't been up here for years. It hasn't changed much." Bo piped up, "Well Uncle Jesse, Boss Hogg hasn't changed either. He's still a no good low down sidewinder. I can't believe he'd stoop so low as to frame a geniune NASCAR star." Luke laughed "As many famous country music stars he has framed why do you act surprised?" Jesse sat on a big log. "Now what are we gonna do about this mess?"
  11. I thought the fact that they looked so much different was a bit odd. Maybe Boss and Abe were adopted.
  12. Abraham Lincoln Hogg is very KIND
  13. author
  14. dollars
  15. Can't argue with that!
  16. the big HEIST
  17. More bright side!
  18. I always look at the bright side of things when it comes to season 5. The series didn't end after 4 seasons. And it produced one of the best episodes ever...."Welcome Back Bo 'n' Luke."
  19. rich
  20. .......and the ZERO one looks as good as ever!
  21. Skipper got them both right and Hobie got Spike right. R.P Droopy Cathcarte is the Sheriff from Osage County. Here's an easy one for Skipper that is not a Dukes question...although Denver Pyle was in the episode. I just watched "Divorce, mountain style" from The Andy Griffith Show. Who played Charlene Darling's husband and what is he famous for?
  22. Yes he is. A true fan and friend.
