  1. I was watching Road Pirates today. I thought the first truck driver who Daisy stopped with her legs looked familiar. He was the strong looking guy who laid down beside her and crawled under her car to secure the muffler. They showed his name in the credits and it is Salt Walther. He lived from 1947 to 2012 and drove different classes of race cars. In 1973 he was involved in a horrific crash at the Indianapolis 500. I watched it on You Tube. It was nasty....so nasty in fact that it changed rules that made the Indy 500 more safe. My memory isn't that great but it seems like maybe we've talked about him before here on the HN. Maybe Hoss can post a video of the crash.
  2. It will be fixed right after the commercial break.

  5. Good grief Hobie. You been into your finest again? They just had a good strong wind at their back. Next thing you know you will say that Miz Tisdale had a stuntwomen and didn't really ride wheelies on a post office dirt bike. Are you looking for a fight tonight? I'm your man if you start messing with my Emma. Put up your Dukes.....of Hazzard.

  9. But even your second rate shine is better than everyone else's first rate shine...except Jesse Duke's.
  10. Another flat tire on the General? Time to get the JACK out.
  11. Oh my goodness! How did I miss this? You have done a lot to help me Hoss but this ranks up there toward the top of the list. Thank you so much! I can see the list isn't complete but it's a great place to start. BTW, top on the list is still the picture of Charlie Daniels at the Duke farm.
  12. Lighthorse HARRY HOGG (Just watched Along Came a Duke today. Boss said that was his great- grandfather)
  13. Hmm, do you think there were only 3 episodes where Emma rode a dirt bike? Seems like there should be more but I wouldn't be surprised if there's not. Thank you so much Hoss. You are the most helpful person on the internet. I just got done watching "Along Came a Duke". I love the dirt bike episodes.

  17. Hoss is good with that stuff. He'll know. This might be too tough for Hoss but I'll ask anyways. Miz Tisdale's dirt bike first appeared in Double Dukes of season 4 (I think). In what other episodes did she ride it? Can anybody remember what ep Jesse rode in a sidecar with her?
  18. I don't know about the wall but Cooter would have fixed the car in no time.
  19. Cletus was introduced in season 1 as Boss's cousin in Money to Burn. In "Road Pirates" of season 2 Cletus mentioned his mama. Mentioned her again in season 4. In "Enos Strate to the Top" of season 3 Cletus was called Boss's 3rd cousin twice removed. (It might have been Hazzardville Horror. I have it marked down as the second episode but I don't know if I counted Carnival of Thrills as one episode or 2). Hughie showed up in Arrest Jesse Duke in season 2. Jamie Lee Hogg showed up in the first ep of season 4 as Boss's nephew....Boss's baby brother's boy. Season 6 said Dewey is Hughie's older brother. As I recall, Boss's twin Abe didn't have kids. Is that right? There wasn't any family info given when Boss's big daddy showed up. Silas Hogg was Boss's uncle and like a second father to Jesse. Boss's cousin is Big Dan Hogg of Rapaho County. Boss and Abe were born April 6 1926. But none of this answers Skipper's question.
