I used to but it's too hard on these 63 year old teeth. So I just grab a spoon and eat peanut butter right out of the jar. I'll be able to still do that even when I don't have any teeth. Lol
I see I got Enos's birthday wish in before I lost my internet. I think the hurricane hit Valdosta Georgia about that time so I bet things were crazy in his neck of the woods.
I haven't had internet for 8 days but let me take this time to welcome you to the HazzardNet. We look forward to hearing more from you. I know how you feel about love for grandparents. It's been a long time since my last one died but they will always live in my heart. And I have a special Dukes connection with 2 of them. When I was 19 and Dukes first came out I would watch it at their house...because their antenna was good enough to get CBS.
(A week ago we lost our internet and land line. They were working on installing a high speed internet line near my area but said what they were doing had nothing to do with the problem....that sounded suspicious. I found out later there was a fire a couple miles away and that was the problem. We finally got our land line back Saturday but no internet until last night and that didn't last long. It's working for the moment though but who knows for how long)
Must be you didn't feel it down there, huh Skipper? The local news said that they could feel it across the NY state line. I'm guessing that is about 50 or 60 miles from the epicenter.
Happy Birthday today to our favorite dipstick deputy, Enos Strate. I hope Boss gives him some time off today. It's Buttermilk Day at the Boar's Nest. Who knows....maybe that pretty waitress Daisy will give him a kiss as he's sporting a buttermilk mustache! We love you Buddy Roe! Possum on a gumbush! Grits and Greens strike again!
I just felt an earthquake and heard things in the house rattle. I looked at the clock and it was 10:43 (EST). I was pretty sure that's what it was and then the local news confirmed it 17 minutes later. No real damage here. It was centered in Madison Ohio.
