Just got done puppy-sitting for my brother-in-law for a week. That was stressful. It's only 5 months old but is twice as big as our 2 year old dog and they never got along all week. And the puppy had diarrhea all week...and brought ticks in and barked in the middle of the night and chewed stuff up. Talk about high maintenence. I'm so glad he's gone. Despite all that, I'm kinda missing him. He did have a lovable side. I bet he's glad to be home too.

CA Highway Ain’t No Hazzard...Or Is It?
RogerDuke replied to MonacoMan's topic in Rick Hurst / Cletus Hogg
I looked him up (spelled Rosey) and he was 6'5" and 290 lbs. I thought he was closer to 400 lbs but that's still huge. I do remember that he was mad about getting the ticket but I didn't remember that it was his mom's car. I can't remember if he was arrested or not but Rosco would have arrested him for littering. -

I'd have a big smile on my face too. I've never sat in a General. -

CA Highway Ain’t No Hazzard...Or Is It?

I watched it but not on a regular basis. My favorite scene was when that tiny car got pulled over and that massive guy got out and was so mad he tore the car apart with his bare hands. No, it wasn't Big Ed Little. I think it was Rosie Greer. -
He's driving the red car with number XXX on the side. But then again, to Hobie they all look like that. Sounds like Hobie Jr will come in first place, last place and every place in between. No wonder Hobie likes NASCAR so much. Jr always wins.

Okay, I'll admit it. There have been times when I have logged in out of obligation and not because I felt like it. That's probably not a rare feeling for us long time regulars. Loyalty is important but so is fun. If you are taking something too seriously and finding out it isn't as much fun you have 5 options: 1) Quit. 2) Walk away for a bit. 3) Attitude adjustment. 4) Limit your time. 5) A combination of 2, 3 and 4. We're happy you reconsidered. Definitely don't worry about feeling all the pressure of the NASCAR reports. If Spike or Hoss don't post updates, people can always Google that info. Of course that's not as much fun as coming to a place like Hazzard County with such strong NASCAR ties. The HazzardNet is a lot of fun and if it ever gets to a point where it's not, just follow the advice of your old wise Uncle Roger....reread this post, go with options 2,3,4 or 5....but never option 1.....or we're sending that bloodhound Flash out to hunt you down and drag you back!

January of next year will mark 20 years since you first came to HN so you are a bit of an institution here. Please check in once in awhile and let us know how you are doing. We like your NASCAR updates but don't feel obligated to do that. You sound busy and we've all been there. Log in any time. As long as HN exists your cousins will be here for you.

What I'm Doing Right Now!
RogerDuke replied to Hobie Hartkins's topic in Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion
Me too Hobie. All I have ever had is vehicles that my wife handed down after beating them for over a decade. Her latest vehicle topped the $30,000 mark. If she loses the key it costs $600 to replace. You can buy an entire car for less than that in Hobie's used car lot....as long as you like red. If you ask me, I'd rather have a car than just a key but she's put up with for these many years, she deserves something nice and reliable. -

That's exactly what I just paid for my new dirt bike....after dealer costs, taxes, etc. Maybe Hoss can post a picture for me. It is a 2023 Kawasaki KLX 300. It is not the SM version and is green, not the gray camo version. -
The General is number ONE

Such a bummer about Chase Elliott. Will make this season much less exciting.
-
That's a bummer but we understand. Check in with us once in awhile if you find the time. You are loved here and we look forward to your return. Maybe Spike will take up the slack.

Today's stuff is junk.....um, except for my 2023 dirt bike.
-
Another scam. I went by Hobie's car lot earlier today. None of those cars are red. I did see a bottle of Hobie's Finest sitting on the hood of a beat up blue AMC Gremlin but it was blue. Hobie, why would you lie and say you have a red car?

Benny the Quill sure carries a lot of INK pens

You forget something Skipper. Daisy was born near you. How far are you from Warren Ohio where Ray Kohn and the Northeast Ohio Dukes are located?
-
I forgot about that. Daisy and Opie born hours apart. I wonder who was born first.
