DaisyMae and B.L. got them both right and DaisyMae extends the unbelievable streak to 24 correct answers. I don't know what the record was before that but 12 sounds like it might have been it. Can it continue? Which of these were on the show? Pine Creek or Whispering Willow Creek Cottonwood Gulley or Rhuebottom Canyon Snoozy City or Sleepy City I'm getting nervous. Can DaisyMae keep this up?

Right Double X, it was uranium. It was hilarious when Rosco was trying to use a jackhammer to get it. In "State of the County" where did the last bomb go off?- 3,820 replies

Looks like Double X is getting a streak going too, you've gotten at least 6 in a row right now. I see you didn't fall for Paul Ruebens. He was the actor who played Pee Wee Herman. Which of these were on the show? Earl Scruggs or Jim Scuggs Hazzard Lake or Murky Bottom Bog (episode names) The Fugitive or The Desparado

That's a great way of putting things General Grant. Looking at posts like these really makes me realize what a great second family we have here on the Hazzardnet. I'd always fought computers and technology (I'll never own a cell phone) but when someone explained to me, earlier this year, that you could probably find people who also loved The Dukes of Hazzard on this here contraption, I decided to give it a try. Boy, am I sure glad I did. I had a very full happy life before I found Hazzardnet but now, I really feel like my life is even more complete. I feel sorry for people who don't understand why folks like us are so in love with Hazzard County. For me, the Dukes is somewhere between a hobby and a religion. In other words, I model my life around the lifestyle of Hazzard County residents (minus the car jumps) but I don't put them above God. It's awesome to know that there's folks out there who understand. I got a big 'ole smile on my face right now.

Nice post General Grant. You sound like the Dukes 'cause you're..."fightin' the system" I especially liked the part about the true meaning of Christmas. It's a shame that's getting lost more every year.

Welcome to Hazzard County Starskyknight. I hope to own a beat up white Ford pick-up truck someday just like the one Uncle Jesse drives. If I can't swing it, I'll settle for Miz Tisdale's dirt bike. Until then I'll just git around on Maudeen the Mule. She doesn't jump over wide creeks but she's purtty good at stepping over ditches without throwing me off. Plus she doesn't cost much to fill up. She runs on corn ethanol (minus the ethanol) I gotta go....now where's Maudeen hiding?....

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! (did I mention Wow!) DaisyMae has a streak of 21 correct answers. Which of these were on the show? Old Wilson Mansion or Old Weatherby Place Old Ridge Runner Road or Sassafrass Marsh Road Circuit Judge Potts or Judge Paul Ruebens

Since we've gone a day without a response here's a clue. She was a fortune teller.

Thanks Laura, it's always nice to get a compliment. I think everybody else can relate to one statement you made that sums up the entire Coy and Vance experience and it's not necessarily the fault of anybody....it's just a truthful, realistic evaluation of the average Dukes fan's feelings. Your statement was "I just didn't feel the warmth of John and Tom." That's common ground that we all share.

I remember when the show was out originally and I lived for Friday night, it didn't really bother me that much when Coy and Vance were on. Sure, I liked Bo and Luke a lot more and I didn't think Coy and Vance were as good of actors but the show meant so much to me (and still does) that I ignored the bad and focused on the good. Coy and Vance were family and if it weren't for them the show would have ended after season 4, which means we would have missed out on almost half of the fun. So, not only did they help Jesse and Daisy through hard times, they helped to keep Dukes around long enough that we had two more seasons after they left. Losing Bo and Luke wasn't the hard part. Losing the series after 7 amazing years was. Thank goodness for the DVDs and the Hazzardnet....and thank goodness for all of you good Hazzard County folks out there who use it. We're all Dukes (and Davenports, Hoggs, Coltranes and Strates) at heart. I'm grateful to anyone who had anything to do with those 7 years, including Christopher Mayer and Byron Cherry. They aren't perfect but they're still Dukes. I'm gone.

You got all 3 right Double X. Which of these were on the show? Lucinda Meadows or Lucille Ball Hazzard County Gravel Pit or J. D. Hogg Granite Quarry Hooper Hill Road or Hopkins Road
-
That would be Grady Byrd played by Dick Sargent. He was in "Jude Emery" and "Officer Daisy Duke" I hang out with a friend nicknamed Three Pack. Who am I?

Pardon me for being a little dense (that happens a lot) but I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do. Would you mind explaining it a different way. Since I have no computer skills (believe it or not, Hazzardnet is the only website I've ever been on in my life) I may be a little slow at getting stuff that may involve computer skills or terminology. Sorry.

Sorry, that one was too tough. I know I would have missed it if I hadn't just seen it. It was Rosco's Mama. By the way, she must be Lulu's Mama too unless they're half-siblings. That would make her Boss's mother-in law. In "The Great Santa Claus Chase", what was the name of the company that owned the 3 trucks they delivered trees with at the end? A) White Pine Construction Company Yellow Pine Construction Company- 3,820 replies

You both got all 3 right. DaisyMae breaks the record with 15 right in a row. (there's no pressure or anything to extend that streak, right DaisyMae? LOL) Which of these were on the show? Amanda Venable or Adam Venable Chestnut Road or Dynamite Alley Orange County or Osage County

I'm Swamp Molly's cousin and I'd just love to wrastle Bo. He doesn't seem that interested though. Who am I?

Should newer movie actors be at Dukesfest?
RogerDuke replied to TimDuke's topic in DukesFest & Other Events
Just to clarify my last post...when I wrote "original series cast members" I am refering to anybody from the 7 years including Coy and Vance. I don't think anyone would interpret that to mean that only Bo and Luke are the "original" but I just wanted to make sure that it was clear that I'm okay with Coy and Vance. -

Right B.L. By the way, I got that by pressing "pause" when the sheriff of Finchburg was looking at Abe's wallet. Abe and Boss were born on April 6, 1926. Does anybody know if that's the only episode that has Rosco's house in it? Whose marriage was the first one in the history of Hazzard County to be annulled? Never mind, everybody knows it's Rosco. This one's tougher. Who caught the bouqet (spelled wrong) when Rosco's bogus bride threw it in "Mrs Rosco P Coltrane"?- 3,820 replies

Sorry B.L., I made up Yellow Lilly Creek. Turtle Creek is real. You got the other two right though. Which of these were on the show? Low Down Road or High Top Road Swamp Molly or Alligator Andy (episode names) Hazzard Shuck and Jive or Hazzard Hustle

Okay, it's a little early for this and I'll bring it up again but I had an idea and wanted to get some initial reaction to it. Even if only one other person wants to do this, I'd like to. I thought we should all try to watch "The Great Santa Claus Chase" (season 3) at the exact same time when it gets close to Christmas. I think it would be a nice way for the Hazzardnet family to get together for a Christmas party. The next few days after that, we could all send posts giving our thoughts on that episode. Of course, we'd have to agree on a time (or even schedule two times). We'd have to consider our family members in Europe and try not to schedule it too late at night for them. This would involve a little time zone coordinating on our part to DST (Duke Standard Time) Any thoughts?
