  1. Hey Enos, turn that siren off and turn that car around. Them Duke boys can wait. I want to buy you a buttermilk at the Boar's Nest. Ding Dang, possum on a gumbush.....it's your birthday!!!!
  2. lukefan, you are officially on a roll..you've gotten 7 of your last 7 answers correct. Can you go 10 for 10? Which of these were on the show? M.M. Davenport or B.B. Davenport West Creek Road or Cross Creek Road old gold mine on Pine Creek Road or old silver mine on Pine Ridge Road If anybody else wants in on this, don't worry about lukefan going 10 for 10, this is first come, first serve. Two of these are tough so I can't blame anybody for passing them up.
  3. You're right DaisyMae, it was Crazy Cooter. Hey B.L., the only two roads mentioned in that episode were 76 (runs north and south) and 421. According to my records, there are no landmarks mentioned in that episode. I'm not sure what the answer to your question is though. Here's one from episode #2 "Daisy's Song". At the beginning of this show who was singing Daisy's song ("True Blue Hearts"). Be warned, this is a trick question.
  4. Nice job lukefan, you nailed all 3 of them. Boot Hill is from "Go West Young Dukes" and Cale Yarborough came from Summerville. Which of these were on the show? Larry Bird or Grady Byrd Turtle Creek Road or Tortoise Creek Lane Pringle's Pond or Tisdale Creek Daisyville or Roseville
  5. Yep, you two are right...cricket. Here we go back to the beginning....scene one, episode one, season one. Who wrecked the sheriff's car?
  6. It's good to see that some boys from Georgia won the Little League World Series. I wonder if any of them are from Hazzard? It's possible...after all that kid that hit the homerun that won the final game made that thing fly farther than the General Lee jumping Miller's Creek. Congratulations boys!!!
  7. That was a good stab B.L. You got them both. Which of these were on the show? Boot Valley Cemetary or Boot Hill Cemetary Old River Road or Hogg Highway Cornville or Summerville
  8. I was starting to think nobody was going to get that one, good job Julie. Here's one from "Sittin' Dukes". One of the prison escapees had a pet insect named Herman. What kind of insect was it? (the other escapee incorrectly called it a grasshopper once.)
  9. Hey Julie, Morgan lives in France. That reminds me of a Cooter quote. "Rome Georgia wasn't built in a day". I'm gone.
  10. I'm upset about this. Even though I use my DVDs more, I still like watching an occasional CMT episode. There's something about watching the exact same episode at the exact same time as everybody else that makes me feel bonded as a fan and citizen of Hazzard. Somehow it was comforting to know that they were still there in prime time and available to everyone. Hopefully they'll be picked up by someone else so I can still scroll down the guide and see "Dukes of Hazzard" again. Well, look at it this way, if the folks of Hazzard lost their media link to each other (namely WHOGG and the Hazzard Gazette), they may feel like their community bond has been weakened....but the reality is that what ties us together can never be broken....our love for the Dukes. Thank goodness for the Hazzardnet and the good folks who created it. Having this family here makes this loss a little easier to take. Long live the Dukes!!!
  11. I believe that's "How to Suceed in Hazzard". Here's a couple. Which were on the show? Shady Lane or Orchard Park Lane Judge Clem T. Potstettler or Judge Buford P. Potts
  12. Good job, XXGeneral, it's 9:00. Here's one from "Sky Bandits over Hazzard". What kind of liquid did the sky bandits drop from a helicopter and splat on armored car windshields to block the drivers view and make them run off the road?
  13. Milan might not look like Hazzard but there's a saying "Home is where your heart is". Since your heart's in Hazzard, that's where you're living....just like the rest of the good folks here on the Hazzardnet. I'm gone.
  14. Wow, that was quick...and correct. Here's another. In "The Haunting of J.D. Hogg", what time did Rosco say that him and Flash usually go "nighty night"? Is it 9:00 or 10:00? Speaking of which, I'll catch you tomorrow. I'm gone.
  15. Either that was too tough or interest is the trivia thread is a little low. Kevin Peter Hall was in the alien suit on "Predator". Here's an easier one. In "Enos and Daisy's Wedding", what medical ailment prevented the wedding?
  16. Hey lukefan, last night, I was thinking about this question that you have posted here. I wasn't exactly in my hometown but I was in the closest small city near it. I went to a minor league baseball game (Erie Seawolves in Pennsylvania). Between innings of course they do various things like playing music. They played "What was I thinking?" and I got to hear the part "hood sliding like Bo Duke". It was awesome. Even a city like Erie can remind a feller of the dirt roads of Hazzard County from time to time. LOL I'm gone.
  17. Sorry, the only one you got right was Bluebird Canyon. Those were a little too tough. I could see why you'd pick Winnie's and not Vinnie's. For some reason Vinnie just doesn't sound as "country". Woops, now I'll get a nasty post from some good 'ole country boy named Vinnie. Anyway, the Stovalls were on seperate episodes but, as I recall, they made no mention of them being related. They might have been brothers or cousins. They were about the same age.
  18. Lukefan, the answers to yours are, Play it again Luke, Tiger by the tail, and Cool Hands Luke and Bo. (For some reason, they listed Luke first, usually it's Bo). I wish Country Boy can Survive would have been on. That's my all time favorite song (even though Charlie Daniels didn't record it) Here's 4 tough ones. Which were on the show? Bluebell Canyon or Bluebird Canyon Vinnie's Diner or Winnie's Diner Claude Stovall or Clarence Stovall Dewey Stovall or Hughie Stovall If anyone can get 3 of 4 I'll be impressed.
  19. Well, I guess I'd better give the answer to that last one, it's Waylon Corners. Here's another...from "Opening Night at the Boar's Nest". The tall guy (probably 7 foot) is an actor named Kevin Peter Hall. What Arnold Swarzenegger tough guy movie did he play in?
  20. Thanks Redneck Woman, I think you're right. That's the one I had listed on the bottom two lines of my last post. I think I remember Cooter mentioning Hard Labor Creek. They have to cross into Hatchapee County and face Emmitt "Spike" Loomis. Some of the other landmarks I have on that map are Willet Bridge, Miller's Swamp, Pine Hollow Road and Calico Junction. They take Route 104 to get there. Choctaw County is north of Hatchapee County on that map. Does this sound right to you? Thanks for helping me match the episode to the map. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  21. Hey lukefan, It wasn't a good idea that you put it on the Hazzardnet that you have a tank in the middle of Hazard. You know, ever since Hard Luck Jones got in trouble with making moonshine (episode: Follow That Still) he's been looking for another vehicle. What better place to hotwire it than your town (even though it only has one Z)
  22. Wow Daney, thanks for this info. Is this an annual event? I'm going to see if I can make it. It's kinda short notice but hopefully I can pull it off. I'm gone
  23. According to Jesse, the wedding gown that Daisy ("Enos and Daisy's Wedding") had on was worn by Lavinia when she married Jesse.
  24. The thing that reminds me the most of Hazzard around here is the dirt roads. My dad reminds me of Uncle Jesse (minus the beard). He's an old redneck who would rather be outside than in...and yes...he drives a white Ford pick-up!!! We only have one cop in town and one traffic light (that's one less cop and one more light than Hazzard has). I wish we had a square and gazebo like Hazzard does. That always adds a nice Hazzard-like touch to a small town. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  25. You got 2 out of 3. Boondocks Pike is from season 7.
