Whoa, I just noticed an amazing coincidence. BoJames and Julie both have the same number of posts, 3593 (Nov 17). What's the chances of that!! Thanks for backing me up DaisyMae (and Bo) I'm not sure what point "wha" is trying to make. Perhaps it's legitimate and maybe we'll get a perfectly good explanation. I doubt it but I'll keep an open mind for now.....

I know I'm in the minority here but I don't really mind Christmas coming earlier and earlier. I realize that it's only happening so the retailers can make more money and that part bothers me....but I love Christmas so much, I enjoy starting to hear stuff about it in mid November. I wouldn't mind hearing about it every day.....just like the Elvis song "Why can't ever day be like Christmas" Okay, go ahead and criticize me. I don't mind. Like I said, I'm in the minority and I can understand the reasoning for disagreeing. I'm gone.

Let me throw up one more tribute while we're on the subject. Thanks to all the folks who began the Hazzardnet and maintain it. You people are awesome and so many of us appreciate it. Let's all head down to the Boar's Nest so I can by y'all a buttermilk. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.

The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread
RogerDuke replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
Also from "The Legacy" who was acting sheriff in that episode...Cletus or Enos???? Wilbur Fudge was acting deputy (even though Waylon called him Emery at the end. I think he might have got him mixed up with Emery Potter) Incidently, my all time favorite quote is on that episode. You can also see it on the bottom of all Lori Davenport's threads. "Well, I put myself in the hands of the Lord and He put me in the hands of the Dukes and I guess maybe you couldn't get a better combination than that" ---Lucinda Meadows- 3,820 replies

General Grant wrote a post recently that made me wonder if any of ya'all would want to share the story of the first time you fell in love with the Dukes. I was going to truck driving school for the USMC (Reserves) in Camp Lejeune North Carolina when the series first came out. Everybody was talking about it so I watched it in the rec room of the barracks one Friday evening. From what I remember, it was "High Octane" but I'm not really sure. All I remember is that it was the best show I'd ever seen. What a great balance of everything entertaining.....action, drama, family, plot, romance, great acting and actors, etc!!! From the moment I first laid eyes on the show, I was hooked for life (even though I didn't know it at the time)

Sorry B.L. you missed one . Honest Abe's Log Cabin Sales (and used cars) is outside of town and it's from season 3.
-
That's a great post General Grant. Here's another reason to like Coy and Vance. (I admit we have to struggle to find them).....If it weren't for them, we wouldn't have this thread. This thread sure is providing some of the best tributes to the show I've ever read!!!!!! Despite our occasional (very minor) disagreements, I sure do love all my cousins on the Hazzardnet. I'm gone.

How in the world are you doing this DaisyMae...27 in a row correct!!!! It's going to be sad when this streak ends (if it ever does) Here's your chance to go 30 for 30. To put that in perspective, 10 in a row would be a great streak but you're going for 10 SETS (of 3) in a row. I'm jumpier than a bushy tailed squirrel in a room full of rocking chairs. Good luck. Of course, anybody else can jump in on this too. Which of these were on the show? Honest Abe's Cigar Emporium or Honest Abe's Log Cabin Sales Stone Canyon or Soft Top Mountain (episode names) Hazzard Connection or Chickasaw Connection

Hmmm, that sounds like it involves more computer skills than this 'ole hillbilly has. You kids have fun with it though.
-
I think you're talking about Jeb McCobb's grandaughters? I can't think of their first names but they rhyme. They live in Hazzard Marsh. Is it Cindy and Sandy. No, that's not it, shucks.

Hmm....I'm starting to see a pattern here. Ya got any pictures of Miz Tisdale?

It was at the gazebo in the middle of the square when Boss was getting ready to give his "State of the County" speech. In "The Legacy" what did Lucinda Meadows' husband leave as a legacy at the bottom of Rainbow Mine?- 3,820 replies

This is a scene from the first episode right? That looks like Dennis Haskins on the left. He played Mr Belding on "Saved by the Bell". I was wondering why you posted this. Ya got any nice pictures of her face too?

This is mean but funny. When Boss was talking about the old days to Lucinda Meadows, he snapped at Cletus and said "You weren't around in the old days.....and I ain't too pleased to have you around in the new days either."

DaisyMae and B.L. got them both right and DaisyMae extends the unbelievable streak to 24 correct answers. I don't know what the record was before that but 12 sounds like it might have been it. Can it continue? Which of these were on the show? Pine Creek or Whispering Willow Creek Cottonwood Gulley or Rhuebottom Canyon Snoozy City or Sleepy City I'm getting nervous. Can DaisyMae keep this up?

Right Double X, it was uranium. It was hilarious when Rosco was trying to use a jackhammer to get it. In "State of the County" where did the last bomb go off?- 3,820 replies

Looks like Double X is getting a streak going too, you've gotten at least 6 in a row right now. I see you didn't fall for Paul Ruebens. He was the actor who played Pee Wee Herman. Which of these were on the show? Earl Scruggs or Jim Scuggs Hazzard Lake or Murky Bottom Bog (episode names) The Fugitive or The Desparado

That's a great way of putting things General Grant. Looking at posts like these really makes me realize what a great second family we have here on the Hazzardnet. I'd always fought computers and technology (I'll never own a cell phone) but when someone explained to me, earlier this year, that you could probably find people who also loved The Dukes of Hazzard on this here contraption, I decided to give it a try. Boy, am I sure glad I did. I had a very full happy life before I found Hazzardnet but now, I really feel like my life is even more complete. I feel sorry for people who don't understand why folks like us are so in love with Hazzard County. For me, the Dukes is somewhere between a hobby and a religion. In other words, I model my life around the lifestyle of Hazzard County residents (minus the car jumps) but I don't put them above God. It's awesome to know that there's folks out there who understand. I got a big 'ole smile on my face right now.

Nice post General Grant. You sound like the Dukes 'cause you're..."fightin' the system" I especially liked the part about the true meaning of Christmas. It's a shame that's getting lost more every year.

Welcome to Hazzard County Starskyknight. I hope to own a beat up white Ford pick-up truck someday just like the one Uncle Jesse drives. If I can't swing it, I'll settle for Miz Tisdale's dirt bike. Until then I'll just git around on Maudeen the Mule. She doesn't jump over wide creeks but she's purtty good at stepping over ditches without throwing me off. Plus she doesn't cost much to fill up. She runs on corn ethanol (minus the ethanol) I gotta go....now where's Maudeen hiding?....

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! (did I mention Wow!) DaisyMae has a streak of 21 correct answers. Which of these were on the show? Old Wilson Mansion or Old Weatherby Place Old Ridge Runner Road or Sassafrass Marsh Road Circuit Judge Potts or Judge Paul Ruebens
