  1. For those of you who missed the trivia thread with this answer, yes, the Hazzard Cab Company is correct but she also worked at the Hazzard County Gazzette. I'm gone.
  2. On the courthouse sign it lists Axtell Bail Bonds and Victor's Bail Bonds is a business on a side street not too far from the bank. Now here's a super tough one....which street is Hotchkiss Funeral Home located on?
  3. Remember when the General Lee was painted green in "Southern Comfurts"? That's how green with jealousy I am. On the other hand, I'm happy for you. Have a blast!!!
  4. I thought that Rosco looked a little older than 48 there....thanks for that tidbit Meadowmuffin. Here's another one....what is Jim Bronke's occupation? I don't think he was ever on the show but we sure saw his name a lot.
  5. Thanks Grandad. I wish I would have listened better when you were telling me all your old World War II stories. I may not have paid enough attention to those stories but for what it's worth, I paid a lot of attention to other things you taught me and there's a lot of you in me today. I miss you and Grandma and I love you both. Thanks to every one else who served their country with pride and dignity.
  6. Good job on the green General Lee answer MinDuke. How about this one...which episode mentioned that Rosco's age is 48?
  7. Correct. In back to back episodes in season 3 they had her at the Hazzard Gazzette, Cab Company and Post Office. Considering she had 3 jobs, it's amazing she still had enough energy to ride wheelies and flirt with Uncle Jesse. I wish he would have gone on at least one date with her. What would have looked more romantic...both of them in Hazzard Swamp on her dirt bike or both of them at a drive-in-movie on Maudeen the mule?...don't answer that, it's not really a trivia question...just a fun thought. How about this tough one, in which episode did they paint the General Lee green? Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  8. That's a tough one. I had never really thought about. I guess I liked Coy a little better but it's close.
  9. She was a country music star. She wasn't a big name like Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette or Dolly Parton but she was big enough that most country fans knew her. By the way, her boyfriend in "Happy Birthday General Lee" was also in "The Great Hazzard Hijack" (season 3). He was a friend (and co-thief) of Luke's old Marine buddy.
  10. There are two answers but you are right about the Hazzard Cab Company. By the way, JulieDuke beat you to the correct answer in the "Ode to Mis Tizdale" thread. ...who can get the other? Incidently, the Cab Company was from season 3.."The Hack of Hazzard". I'm gone.
  11. Does anyone know what the official spelling of ole is (as in "good ole boys")? Is it 1) 'ole 2) 'ol 3) ol' 4) ole' or something different? Also, did we ever officially determine which one was really Denver's birthday, May 11 or Dec 25?
  12. Here's one that is on "Ode to Mis Tizdale" but since there are more viewers here, I'll repost it. In addition to the post office, which business in town does Mis Tizdale work at?
  13. Welcome to Hazzard County. I haven't been with the Hazzardnet that long myself (due to my computer illiteracy) but now that I'm here, I'll never leave. The people here are like a big happy family and we're glad to have a new member. I hope you love it as much as I do. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  14. Here's a trivia question for you. In addition to the post office, what other business does Mis Tizdale work in? A lot of you know the answer but who will be the fastest to get it up on a post?
  15. I like the title of the number 10 song on that list but they spelled it wrong (LOL). By the way, is the correct spelling in the Dukes theme song 1) ole' 2) ol' 3) 'ol 4) 'ole ?
  16. Seeing it all get started in season one was awesome. I especially loved the Georgia episodes because the scenery reminds me so much of where I live. Of course, they could have filmed it in the North Pole and the show would have been a hit and I still would have loved it as much. It's just that, all those trees make me feel like I'm in Hazzard County when I see how much Georgia and "my neck of the woods" are alike. I'm gone.
  17. I appreciate your response...especially the part where you said you won't own "The Beginning". I saw the 2005 movie when it was in theaters because curiosity got the best of me. I didn't go out and buy the DVD or anything and told all my family members not to ever buy it as a gift for me. I have to admit though, I can see why it did appeal to some people. In fact, there were parts of it that I really liked a lot. If that's all the worse changing the Dukes would have gotten I could have accepted it a little, but when "The Beginning" came out...well that definitely sealed my attitude about why they shouldn't try to change perfection. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  18. I see your point, however I've never had a "watching paint dry" moment when viewing a single minute of any of the original series episodes. If you have, I'd sure like to know when. I'm gone.
  19. My all time favorite John Schneider song is "Number 34 in Atlanta". What a great song with such a great message. How many people out there know it?
  20. I was wondering who your favorite character is that only made ONE or TWO apperances on the show. Mine is Abraham Lincoln Hogg but I also liked Loretta Lynn, Cale Yarborough, Rosco's Mama, Cooter's daughter, Swamp Molly, Hard Luck Jones, Tammy Wynette and Milo Beaudry. I'm not sure if Waylon would qualify since he was on every episode. "She don't understand they keep showing my hands and not my face on TV." Miz Tisdale is also one of my favorites but she was on more than 2 episodes. Does anybody know if the Beaudry's were on more than two? Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  21. I couldn't resist this Waylon quote from the conclusion of "By-Line Daisy Duke" in season 3. It sums up how many people feel about not altering the original Dukes (like the latest movies have done) "Ain't it nice to know there's a place in this old world where things never change."
  22. Here's a good Uncle Jesse quote from "By-Line Daisy Duke" (season 3). "J.D., why don't you go fry yourself a snowball."
  23. Hey Julie, I probably should know this so I'm risking sounding dumb. I've heard of that but I'm not sure what it's about. Could you give me a brief idea of the plot? Thanks.
