  1. Jesse *rubs sawdust from firewood bark off his hands while continuing to sit on wood pile and looks at Luke* Well don't stop now boy, I'm all ears
  2. *reaches for ropes holding supplies on Maudeen's back* Grab that other side Bo and let's git this in the cabin. We got a lot ta talk about.
  3. You folks is right. Them city people can be greedy. Look at that Lester Starr feller and how he stole Daisy's song...he's from Atlanta. I suppose they ain't all bad though....
  4. Hey Bo, if you ever get time, the trivia question thread now has 87 pages so you have an ocean of questions to look though to pick your favorites. Here are the other musical guests in addition to the ones that North of Border listed. Mel Tillis (twice) Loretta Lynn Freddie Fender Donna Fargo Buck Owens Milckey Gilley Waylon Jennings Stella Parton and Janie Fricke were singers but only acted on the show
  5. You have answered 43 in a row correctly Alex. What is Boss's father's name? A) Jefferson Ulysses C) Davis D) Rutherford E) Earl F) the series never said
  6. Don't forget about Boss's "Big Daddy". Also, Boss's mother-in law was on "Mrs Rosco P Coltrane". You probably wouldn't want to count his aunt-in-law Clara Coltrane or his Uncle Silas Hogg since they only showed his house after he died and not him. Laura, Mabel Tillingham is called Boss's cousin on "Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough" Closed captioning spelled her name Maybelle and the credits at the end spelled it Myrtle.
  7. Well Laura, if these kids would stop their bickerin' I could git a word in edgewise and answer ya. Sure it bothers me that me and Boss ain't the best of friends no mores but I knew when he was young that he had a greedy side and we'd part ways in due time. When we was kids, I was closer buddies to Abe, (Boss's twin) but Abe never was much into runnin' shine so me and Boss became closer when we got old enough to drive. Of course, years after that Boss started caring more about money and less about family. I suppose he learned that from his Big Daddy. Abe ended up more like his mom, in the way he follows the Good Book. She was a good Baptist, ya know.

  9. Well folks *looks in all directions nervousely* I see DaisyMaeDuke isn't logged on so I guess I should announce that her streak has ended. There was never a lake named Farm Lake but Barm Lake is from "To Catch a Duke" (season 3) It sure sounded like Barm to me and to double check, I used "closed captioning"...sorry Daisy..You hold the world record of 59 though if that's any consolation.. *ducks and runs for cover knowing that he will live until DaisyMae logs on and reads this post* It's been nice knowing you fine people
  10. *smiles a big ol' sentimental smile* Yea, ya know when I was a youngster, only the rich folks had cars so we had ta find some other ways ta haul stuff around. *pats Maudeen again* 'Course that was before Maudeen's time...but not before her grandpap's time *smiles again lovingly*
  11. Alex has answered 42 in a row correct. Tim, good job adding "glow in the dark orange" to that list. That was some good thinking. I wouldn't have thought of it. Incidently, "Southern Comfurts" is the episode where they painted the General green. In addition to "Happy Birthday General Lee", the General also was black in "Little Game of Pool" (I noticed Tim mentioned that the General was black in two episodes) Does anybody know what episode they converted the General into a 4 wheel-drive was?
  12. Jesse *gazing off at the horizon* Well maybe it's best I don't go stickin' my old nose where it don't belong. 'Sides, I haven't made it a habit ta keep you boys out of trouble before ya git into it....but it does seem ta be my life's work ta git ya out of it once yer in it. *looks at Luke saying nothing but Luke could tell just by the way Jesse was looking at him that he wanted to know about Bo's accusations*
  13. Scrooge
  14. Jesse *sees Bo and smiles as if he hasn't seen him in days and not hours* Bo!!! It's good ta see ya. *looks at Maudeen then back at Bo* It's been quite awhile since Maudeen's been out here. I'm havin' trouble rememberin' how long it's been. She seemed to enjoy the trip though. *pats Maudeen's hind quarter as she nibbles on weeds that were growning beside the willow tree.*
  15. I'll hold off until you post your question. If you haven't posted it by Tuesday evening (EST) I'll just respond to your two answers.
  16. I'm pretty mad at you Jessi. Who do you think you are by making the statement "People are so easily offended now a days" That statement offends me. LOL
  17. *finishes trip to cabin and looks around outside but doesn't see Bo anywhere. Ties up Maudeen to a willow tree next to cabin*
  18. Luke, when it comes ta love, ya can just throw all that wisdom out with the bath water 'cause it don't amount ta a hill of beans. *looks to ground and back up at Luke* So, are you sure that the Judge doesn't already know?
  19. *Walks through the back 4O on the way to the cabin with Maudeen faithfully following. While walking, Jesse recalls a lifetime of memories in this field alone. As he leaves the field and enters the woods, he wonders if those memories will all have a tragic ending*

  21. Right Bo and Alex. It's 3. Who was the only singer to get caught in the celebrity speedtrap in season 5?
  22. sugar
  23. It's nice to see that you've mended your ways and gone from a lurker to a poster. Just kidding....welcome back to Hazzard County Kelly. Buckle up for safety.
  24. tough
  25. Jesse *loads up Maudeen with supplies, tying them with rope so they are secure* Well Maudeen, it looks like there ain't enough room for me up there too so I guess I''ll just have ta lead ya out there. *grabs rein and begins walking with Maudeen following* *laughs* You haven't been out ta the cabin in years, have ya?!!
