    *Jesse drove off down the dirt road for a couple miles heading in the direction of the farm. The boys suspected that their uncle was taking them home and Luke didn't say a word. Jesse occasionally glanced back at Bo in the mirror and noticed that he was froze, not even turning his head to the side to take in the sights. A couple miles later when they approached the Old Mill Crossroads, the boys were shocked to see that Jesse had turned down Willow Road and was no longer heading home anymore. Jesse waited for Luke to ask why, but when a minute went by and he didn't, Jesse began the conversation* "Wanna know where we're headin" ?

    I logged in around 8:10 tonight but nobody was chatting. I'm not able to stay on anyways because my daughter is driving 5 hours on bad roads and I don't want to tie the phone line up in case she needs to call.

    They's two reason I like to use the outhouse. Furst of all, it don't make no sense ta walk all the way in the house when I gotta do my business and git back to work right quick. Second, I do my best stinkin' in the outhouse (I meant "thinking" but the darn backspace button ain't working so I can't fix it) Fer some reason, I feel young again in there. I reckon it's 'cause that's all I had as a young-un. I come up with my best ideas when I've feeling young. In fact, I gotta go now...I feel another great idea coming on......

    Jesse drives truck around the next corner and sees Bo walking. Bo recognizes sound of his uncle's truck but doesn't turn around to acknowledge it until Jesse pulls up to him. Jesse stops pick-up and gives the same order to Bo.

    Hi Daney, I got my Rosco pictures back. They turned out great. Us Hazzardnet folks should have gotten a group picture taken.....I wish I would have thought of it then. Maybe next time.     Well Laura, Bo mentioned that Maudeen passed on a few years ago but he forgot to add that we got another mule and named it Maudeen too. There's really no way we can run the farm without a mule especially with Bo and Luke breaking the tractor so often by trying to jump it over ditches. Besides not having a mule on a farm is like not having an outhouse. It just don't seem natural. I know those boys weren't happy with having to rebuild that outhouse but at least they learned responsibility about keeping the real dynamite seperated from the fake stuff. Poor Luke, he's still upset about those car magazines....or is he?....you tell us Luke....

    Jesse *emerges from Boar's Nest and looks for the boys. His eye catches a flash of someone walking down the road at a distance through the trees. Hops in truck and drives up beside Luke and rolls window down*

    Jesse *second guessing himself as to whether or not he should have let things go that far* Well, Cooter, I ain't sure what I caught and what I didn't. I ain't sure what started all this. I ain't sure what's in that little box and I ain't sure what to do next *hesitates* Sometimes it's best to just let 'em work things out for themselves....I ain't sure if this is one of those times or not

    The good thing about the snow is that it melts and fills our wells up. I used to complain about snow and rain but after seeing the droughts we've had up north here in recent summers and seeing what the poor folks are going through in Georgia (Atlanta could become a ghost town if things don't get better) I don't complain so much anymore. Now the cold, that's another story. BRRRRR!!!!

    So Daisy, who was the first boy you ever kissed? Bo told me it was Ernie Ledbetter and Luke said it was Darcy Kincade. Was it either one of them boys? Before you ask, yes it was Lavinia.

    After seeing Bo look at the present and then turn directly to him, Jesse gave Bo a look that told him that it was time to mend this problem. Jesse didn't have to say a word. Bo knew what was expected of him. He could read every wrinkle and white hair on his Uncle's face. But mostly, he could see through those old eyes into Jesse's soul. What he saw was a mountain of love with a small stream of tears flowing down it because 2 of the 3 people he loved the most were struggling.
