You're right Kay, I can think of better plot ideas than "Strange Visitor to Hazzard" Let me try to be positive here and word it like this. Instead of saying it's my least favorite episode I will say that it is at the bottom of my favorite episode list. There were a lot of good episodes in season 7 though. My 3 favorites are Happy Birthday General Lee Welcome Waylon Jennings Go West, Young Dukes

I was pretty sad to see how different the Boar's Nest looked when Ben Jones and Sonny Shroyer visited it on the special features on one of the series DVDs (I'm not sure which season that was, does anybody know?) Well, I guess it could be worse. Imagine how terrible it would have been if it would have been torn down to build a housing development or something like that. I'm wondering if Dukes tourists go to church services there just for the opportunity to step inside the building.

Right B.L. Boss's cousin is Big Dan Hogg. Hey dukefan1, I'm thrilled that someone else is asking a question. Not that I mind being the one asking all the time but I always love it when someone else posts a question. I wish it would happen more often. It spices this thread up a little. I hope you have a bunch more. I'm not entirely sure of the answer. I think it's moonshine but I seem to remember that he calls it by a different name. Let's see what other people think. Well Garrett the bad news is that you've been lazy but the good news is that you're still in the contest. The way you worded your resolution gives you a big advantage of being able to judge your progress over the long term. At the end of March (for example, you pick the month) if you feel like you haven't made progress and aren't GOING to make progress you can count yourself out. Remember, this is the honor system. Be honest with yourself.

Wow dukefan, that's one of the most powerful things I've read since I've been here on the HazzardNet. This place really does remind me a lot of Hazzard County because (like you said) it feels like family here. I've written a lot of emotional posts on how much I appreciate the HazzardNet and why.......and I won't take this moment to repeat a lot of those thoughts but I do want to say, from the bottom of my heart, you're a resident of Hazzard County now and we're here for you buddy. We really do care about everybody here and I'm happy you're doing better. Your post was the highlight of my day. I sincerely mean that.

Am I the only one who is still singing Christmas songs in his head? I just love Christmas so much. It takes me a month or more to get those great songs off my mind......especially Elvis.

Hey dukefan, Why don't you start a resolution contest seperate from ours. You could set the groundrules and begin it on Feb 1 (or whenever you want to) If you CAN'T find enough interested people to join you could always ask the folks in this contest if they want to make another resolution. You could call it the "Late Resolution Contest"....or whatever. Use your imagination.

I don't know about the rest of you but so far I like the idea of this thread. It's still too early to tell but I know that making a resolution a public thing has made me much more conscience of my goals and I think will help me by adding a fun competitive spin to it. So far, so good.

You don't have to check in on a regular basis unless you want to because you feel as if it will encourage you to keep your resolution. In that case, it would be a good idea to keep posting updates so we can give you support. I'm sure if you break it, you'll let us know.

Hey Brian, she did something worth watching last night. She whipped everybody's butt in Dukes trivia. It wasn't even close. Nice job MM (has anybody noticed I always do some butt kissing after teasing our Supreme Superior Commander?)
