  1. We don't care if he's a big Dukes fan or a little Dukes fan, we'll like him if he's a Dukes fan. We'd even like him if he wasn't a Dukes fan (We just wouldn't understand him very well)
  2. Welcome to Hazzard County dschwoyer! From one old redneck to another, let me tell you, you've come to the right place. Everybody here might not be rednecks like us but everybody here loves the Dukes. We're happy to have another member of our crazy family. Buckle up for safety. This HazzardNet moves fast on occasion.

  8. I hope someone can help you croth. I'm not sure that I understand your question. What kind of models do you mean? I remember a few months ago, Emy-Rae Duke was asking about the floor plans for the Duke's house. I just wanted to welcome you to the HazzardNet. It's always nice to meet a new friend who loves the Dukes. We hope you stay awhile. This is a great place.
  9. Can you briefly describe how you felt after filming the last episode? ("Opening Night at the Boar's Nest")
  10. I'm happy for everybody but *sobs* I have to work overtime for the third Saturday night in a row. Have fun. I sure hopes he shows up. If he does, that trivia night could be wilder than a Hazzard County Ridge Runner Reunion.

  12. It looks like Daisy's birthday is coming up again. I guess we can't meet her at the Boar's Nest to celebrate because it's usually closed on Sunday and that's her birthday. Maybe we can talk Boss into opening it if we only have buttermilk....in frosted glasses of course.
  13. I also met you in Canton Ohio last year (1-26-08) I know you won't remember me since you met a couple thousand people that day but I asked you about the reunion show when you did that tribute to Boss. When you responded to my comment that day, I could tell how much you miss Sorrell. You weren't acting. I felt your pain. The scene on that reunion show was one of the most emotional things I've ever seen in my life. It was an honor to meet you and I hope I get the oportunity again sometime.

  22. I can see why people want to see Dukes continue and under the right circumstances I might be open minded to it, but overall, I just want to leave it where it ended at season 7. Dealing with the death of Jesse, Boss and Waylon (and even Miz Tisdale) isn't something I want to accept and so, in my mind, Boss is still running Hazzard County and Jesse is still out plowing the back 40 with Maudeen the mule on a sunny Saturday morning. I have a filter in my ears and eyes that won't permit anything in that changes my view of Hazzard County. Hazzard is heaven to me and since you can't improve perfection, the Hazzard in my heart is forever frozen in a time when everything made sense.
  23. Okay, this isn't a quote from Cooter, It's not even one from Ben Jones. It is a great quote from former Speaker of the House, Jim Wright when he was giving advice to Ben as he was entering politics and moving into his new office in Washington D.C. "When you first get here, you'll wonder what in the world you are doing here. But after just a few months, you'll be wondering what in the world all the rest of these fools are doing here." (page 210 of "Redneck Boy in the Promised Land" by Ben Jones)
  24. Wow, what a thrill to get that insight. Thanks so much for posting that. We occasionally do hear some polite criticism of Coy and Vance but I'm sure we all agree that Christopher and Byron were great guys. It's so awesome to have you here filling us in on these things Mr. Best. Khee, Khee!!! I love it! I love it!
  25. Hey dukefan1, I know you're from Ohio so you might like this story. You just mentioned that two wheel trick. Well, I saw the stuntman that used to do that stunt on the Dukes. He was in a car stunt show in Coneaut Ohio when I was a kid. His name is Buzz Bundy.
