Daisy and B.L. are both right with all 3. Daisy has 165 in a row correct (and 223 out of 224) Which of these were on the show? Crabapple Canyon or Cottonwood Gulley Gary Butler's Law Office or Butler County Fairgrounds (episode names) The Prosectution Rests or Witness For the Persecution

That's great Lori. I'm not surprised that your teacher is smart enough to recognize a good paper when he or she sees one. After all you folks in Hazard are pretty smart...even though you don't spell so good. (Hazzard should have two zs even if it ain't in Georgia)

Happy birthday Luke. I'll meet you at the Boar's Nest for a couple buttermilks. Bring Bo with you. You'll need a designated driver. Make sure he lets you drive there though. (Bo's always hogging the steering wheel.)

Don't be confused about how the press is twisting this. Scientists are not trying to create a Big Bang or black hole. In order to do so you would have to have an infinite ammount of energy and that's not something that can be found on a shelf in some lab. They are trying to recreate conditions AFTER the Big Bang....or at least as close to it as possible. In doing so they can learn a lot more about how the Universe began. I think scientists are making a mistake by trying to become God-like but if you study this enough and don't just listen to the press (they love to make things more dramatic than they really are....boring doesn't sell newspapers) you'll find out that we are a long way from creating black holes. I do have two big concerns with this particle accelerator. Is it going to be a complete waste of 9 billion dollars that could have gone to something better...and...if it's not, and we do learn a lot, will we use the technology to make weapons even more powerful than the ones we have now?

Hey, speaking of the General Lee, check out my number of posts...LOL (for those of you reading this later, at the time of posting, it was 1969)

Great pictures TomBo. It sure was nice to see current pics of Coy and Sheriff Little. I hope Big Ed didn't get mad and rip any fenders off your General. He still looks like he'd have no problem doing it. Your General is a thing of beauty!!! Well done!!!

I see the last post here was July 24 (by Julie). Has anyone else seen it since then? I was in the video store yesterday and almost got it but we rented two other videos instead. Does anybody know if this was a movie in theaters or is it a "made for DVD" video? I see Daryl Hannah is in it too.....Also, Amad Assante...that name sounds familiar but I can't put a handle on it.

Before I discovered Hazzardnet I didn't really know anybody else who shared my intense love of the Dukes. That why everybody here means so much to me. I truly feel like a part of a large family with a strong common bond. Things like Lori's school paper simply make that bond even stronger. Thanks for the offer of the Kleenex General but I think I'm okay. I think my tears were just allergies. For some amazing coincidence, my allergies seem to always act up whenever I read posts like that.

Another what episode is this question ;-)
RogerDuke replied to Darkrin's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Episodes
Well Darkrin, the good news is that you now have an excuse to watch a lot of episodes. Here's what I recommend: 1) watch episode number one of season one 2) watch episode number two of season one 3) watch every episode after that, in order, until the end of season 7 4) If you haven't found the episode you're looking for, repeat steps 1-3. (even if you have found it repeat steps 1-3) -
Welcome to Hazzard County natey57. That's a sweet ride. I'm the owner of a Yamaha motorcycle too. Mine looks a little more like Miz Tisdale's than yours. It's usually pretty muddy too. It likes to jump stuff so it is a little bit like the General.

Bo, you just put a smile on my face. I loved the idea of this thread and then it never seemed to take off. I can't wait for you to get it going again. Don't make them too tough...LOL *Smiles again*

Lori, if you don't get an A+ on that paper, yer Uncle Jesse is hopping in his white Ford pick up and going to have a talk with that teacher. Not only do you deserve an A+ for that paper but it was good enough that you should get an A+ for the entire semester without having to do anything else. (Ignore my bias toward all things relating to Dukes. I do have a tendancy to get carried away on occasion.)

I think about Hazzard every time I hear the song "Holler Back"
