  1. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  2. Thanks for the update Garrett. You're right, I'm happy about Kurt and his Charger. Jimmie makes me nervous though. He might not be in the top 10 but he's still the one who makes the leaders look over their shoulders in fear. Don't forget that last year he didn't start off that well. (Not that a NASCAR expert like Garrett would forget that)
  3. Happy birthday Daisy on March 1. We'll meet ya at the Boar's Nest later to celebrate. I hope you didn't run out of buttermilk. We love ya!!!!!
  4. Welcome to the HazzardNet. I see you're logged in now.

Looking at your join date I see you've been here before.

  5. Welcome to the HazzarNet!

I love your screen name. He's certainly worthy of being a hero!

  6. *Walks into jail to report fender bender between Ira Murtchinson and Amos Petersdorf over by the Busy Bee Cafe. Sees what's going on and slips out of the jail without being noticed. Walks over to Cooter's to use his CB and inform the good folks on the HazzardNet what's going on at the jail*
  7. Nice fireworks Hoss! Congratulations to all our trivia players for making it happen. I'm pretty confident it's 50 dollars. I'm not confident enough to bet my farm on it though but I'll bet Hoss's farm.
  8. miles (Gosh, I wonder why Garrett picked 24?.....LOL)
  9. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  10. Bring Lucinda Meadows back into town and have her and Emma Tisdale fight over Jesse. If that's not exciting enough, you could have Strange Visitor to Hazzard break up a fist fight in the Boar's Nest betweem Emma and Lucinda by shooting his ray gun into the ceiling and knocking down a light fixture.
  11. shack (Shaq started his NBA career with the Orlando Magic)
  12. I actually thought of her but as I was visualizing her in my head I talked myself out of it. They look similiar but I'm still not convinced. I guess I should be though because I can never remember a time when I was right after disagreeing with MaryAnne. LOL
  13. Thanks for the offer to play fantasy NASCAR Garrett but I'm going to pass (no pun intended). I'm starting to get involved in other things and don't want to get too overloaded. I joined a fantasy baseball league for the first time so it will be interesting to see how well I can do as a rookie. I'm also a rookie in my fantasy basketball league and I'm in first place in my division but I get the feeling that baseball is going to be tougher. Both leagues are with yahoo. Everybody says yahoo is easy to use especially for people like me who struggle with computers. I'm finding out they're right. I'm manuevering through it pretty well. Now that I've rejected your offer, if you want to join our baseball league, we still have about 4 openings.
  14. What a great tribute BoJames! I especially enjoyed the "really hit me" quote at the end. I've had so many moments in the past 32 years where the show really hit me. Since I've been here on the HazzardNet I've also many times when something really hit me and your post was one. It's so nice to know there's folks out there who love the Dukes as much as I do. I'm not just a fan of the show, I'm also a fan of some of the great folks here....like BoJames! Thanks for putting a smile on my face tonight!
  15. prom (Hey Garrett, the preseason games start today...Go Pirates!)
  16. You got me on that one. I often see people who played in more than one episode....that happened a lot....usually when I see one of them, I remember they were on another episode but can't remember which one. In this case, I can't even remember her being on a different ep at all so I'm really clueless. I hope someone else gets it. I know I'll kick myself when the answer is revealed.
  17. Congratulations on your engagement!

  18. YEEHHAAWWW!!!! Congratulations Daisy! I wish you and Steve all the happiness in the world. Hey, here's some ideas for the wedding. See if you can git on that "My Big Redneck Wedding" show on CMT. Tonight it's on at 2:30AM right after the Dukes of Hazzard marathon. Wait a minute, maybe you could recreate a wedding on the show. How about Milo and Daisy's wedding? Hmmm, never mind that didn't go so well. Hey, how about Enos and Daisy's wedding? Woops, never mind. That didn't go too well either. I got it, you and Steve could recreate the wedding of Emery Potter and Mabel Wooster! Yep, that's it! This is going to be fun. I can't wait! Seriousely though, congratulations again. I'm very happy for you!
  19. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  20. I was watching the local news tonight and got a big surprise. Before they go to the weather, my local station talks about human interest stories that are happening accross the country. When I heard them mention Conyers Georgia my ears perked up. For those of you who don't know, Conyers is one of the locations the Dukes was filmed at when the show was in its infancy during the first 5 episodes before moving to California. Anyways, a 14 month old toddler wandered into the Wells Fargo bank vault in Conyers and somehow the vault door closed. There were no adults inside and the door was on a time lock. After pumping air into the vault for the toddler to breath, eventually the little one was rescued after a relatively long period of time. The incident reminded me of another one in Hazzard County where Boss and Jesse were also stuck in a north Georgia vault with time running out. In that episode (Dukescam Scam...season 4), Cletus looked up and saw them sitting in the vault, exhausted from lack of oxygen. Clueless Cletus asked "Why is cousin Boss and Jesse Duke on the news?" LOL Thank goodness that the child was rescued by the skilled hands of the those who answered the call. It's like old Waylon always says "In Hazzard we tend to like happy endings"

  23. Yep I knew. It's just like the one my dad used to wear. Now we have to wear blaze orange (like the General Lee) because red hats are no longer permitted. My dad drives a white Ford pick-up like Jesse too....seriousely!
  24. Shucks. I just saw it and can't remember his name. I think it was Ira Murkins but I'm not sure. I know when they went and discovered his grave it looked like the same building (in the background) where the million dollars was burned on "Money to Burn"
