I just got some pictures back from the stunt show. My wife took one of me standing beside the General Lee. It was lined up with Boss's Caddy, Rosco's sheriff's car and Jesse's truck....all perfect replicas and all are in the picture too. I felt like I was living out the episode "Carnival of Thrills." It's a picture I'll value my whole life.

I only ever experienced one hurricane all the way up here on Lake Erie. I was 12 when Hurricane Agnus struck in 1972. I think we've had rain from other hurricanes up here but nothing as serious as Agnus. Since I'm in western Pennsylvania I didn't even get wet from this latest hurricane but the poor folks on the other side of the state got flooded.

Is it just me or does it seem like we're drifting apart a little bit here on the HazzardNet? I suppose it's only natural. Families tend to do that in these busy times. But it's about time we reversed the trend. Starting Thursday Sept 1st we are going to be holding a monthly chat room meeting to keep better in touch. It's not going to be easy considering we have folks in Europe and folks on the United States Pacific Coast but we just can't sit back and see ourselves drift apart like we've been doing. I'll post a reminder a couple days before every month's end. Then, on the first day of every month, I'll be in the chat room at 7:00 pm EST hoping to talk to some of my Hazzard County friends. If only one other person shows up that's fine. It only takes two people to hold a meeting. If a dozen folks show up that's even better....the more the merrier. I might log in a little earlier to talk to our relatives "across the pond" but I'm not sure how much sooner I can get on. We'll have to deal with that on a month by month basis. I look forward to Thursday evening. It's going to be like a Hazzard County Reunion! Hmmmm, what's the difference if we clicked on "chat" or "flash chat"?
