  1. Emma sits down in the living room and Jesse follows her in. After asking Mark permission to start a fire in the fireplace Jesse has one crackling in a matter of minutes. Emma smiles from ear to ear as she comments to Jesse "I just can't get over how beautiful this place is. My sister would love seeing it so full of love, life and Christmas spirit. Mark and Karen have decorated this place so wonderfully for the holidays, it seems like I've gone back in time to when my sister and her family were at their happiest. You know it just makes things so different now. I'll never again go past this place and be sad. Already Mark, Karen and Connor feel like family to me. It truly is a Christmas miracle." Jesse smiled at her and put his hand on her shoulder. Overhearing Emma, Daisy walked over and hugged her and then kissed her uncle on the cheek.
  2. telephone (I'm old enough to remember when a pay phone was a dime)
  3. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  4. You two did better than I would have done if I wouldn't have just seen it. DaisyMae only missed one. On number 10, they were talking on channel 22. Lizzy missed two. On number 6 the truck was originally orange (Waylon even commented that it figures they would be driving something orange.) Also, the little boy on question number 8 was Otis J. Thanks for being brave enough to answer. I know some of those were tough.
  5. For those of you lucky enough to have the newly released cartoon series, there's a Christmas episode on disc 4 called "A Dickens of a Christmas." There's an interesting part on that episode where the ghost of the former Boss of Hazzard County comes back to visit the current Boss of Hazzard County. Here's a super tough trivia question. According to that episode who is that former Boss? (Before you answer that, take a shot at the 15 questions listed below....LOL)
  6. As I type this there's only an hour left of my favorite day of the year. Am I the only one who gets the post-Christmas blues? Well, I don't think those blues are going to be as bad this year. I got the Dukes cartoon DVD set today and I feel like I've fallen in love with the Dukes of Hazzard all over again just like I did when I was 19 years old back in '79. I hope everyone had a joyous day.
  7. For those of you who haven't gotten this DVD set, I urge you to order yours now in case they run out of them. This cartoon series is awesome! I got mine today as a Christmas present and saw that there was an episode on disc 4 titled "A Dickens of a Christmas", so naturally I watched it on Christmas night. I feel like I've just been given another chance at being 19 and falling in love with the Dukes of Hazzard all over again! All the voices are by the original characters and they are in top form. Those voices alone make this DVD set a "must have." The plot is interesting and is a much different twist to the regular series. If you are a Dukes fan (and I'm guessing you are since you're logged into the HazzardNet right now) you MUST buy this DVD set. I have to admit that when the cartoon was out I watched it occasionally but not faithfully. I really don't remember a lot about it. That means that I now get to enjoy a "new" Dukes adventure and I am absolutely thrilled about it. Thank you Warner Brothers for releasing this set. This is one of the best Christmas presents ever!!!
  8. Oh no, there's only an hour and a half left until Christmas Day is over (EST) and nobody's attempted to answer these. I'll admit some of them are tough but hey....ya got a 50-50 chance.
  9. If you want another Dukes Christmas tradition, the cartoon series that was just released also has a Christmas episode. It's called "A Dickens of a Christmas" and also has a scene in it where Boss is visted by three ghosts.
  10. I see you're staying up late like me listening for those bells. Merry Christmas my friend!

  11. You'd better get to bed or you're not going to get any presents. Shhhh, is that bells I hear?

  12. I see you're logged in at midnight on Christmas too. Hmm, is that bells I hear?

  13. Well, it looks like I'm not the only one logged in at midnight on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas!

  15. Miz Tisdale jumped up like an excited little girl. "It's a Christmas miracle! We're saved!" Even Jesse could barely contain his excitement. "Emma's motorcycle broke down. If you wouldn't have come along we'd have probably been out here all night in this blizzard!" Emma got in the car and commented "Hey those folks in that car in front of you look like that nice young couple who done bought my sister's house. I didn't know they had a son. I heard they didn't have any kids at all." Jesse brushed the snow off his shoulders before getting in. "If that's what I think it is, we may have more than one Christmas miracle on our hands."
  16. I'm like you Hoss. I don't read much fiction. I mostly read books about astronomy and the global economy. (The two subjects might not be related but they both deal with a lot of big numbers). LOL I used to read more fiction. My favorite author is Jack London who wrote Call of the Wild and White Fang. One of the most amazing things I ever read is a short story of his about how it felt to freeze to death. The story was so well written you could read it in a heat wave and still get the chills.
  17. Merry Christmas everyone!!! .....and thank you Lord for the birth of your Son.
