  1. Very nice. I forgot all about that horn. I sure wish Emma would have been on more often. Thanks Hoss.
  2. Thanks Hoss. I'm sure some folks here appreciate it. As for me, it sounds so much better on 8-track. *Plugs in 8-track player. Sparks fly. Circuit breaker pops* Hmmm, good thing I still have power to the computer.
  3. Nope. Here's a hint. It's something that happens to your car when it gets old....especially if you drive on roads that use a lot of salt in the winter.
  4. Ghost Busters (marshmallow man)
  5. If it's 25 dollars I think I'll pass. I'm more interested in getting my picture taken with him and talking to him for a little while. Hopefully we'll hear from DaisyMae. We still haven't heard any reports about how things went in Niagara Falls. It would have been nice to see both of them together (John and Tom). I missed it because I don't have a passport and I had to go to my grandson's birthday party.
  6. ROFL That's a good one Hoss. Speaking of Clyde (well, a different Clyde that is) I bet I'm the only one here who remembers an old Waylon song called Clyde. "Clyde played electric bass.... played it with finese and grace.... sat on the porch, ain't got no shoes... pickin' the bass and singin' the blues....." Oh man, it looks like I'm breaking out the old 8-track player later tonight.
  7. Okay MM but you can't win unless you predict a score.....unless you're the only one to predict a Packers win and they do win..... but I have a feeling we're going to get a couple more folks predicting a Green Bay victory.
  8. Here's a NASCAR-Dukes trivia question for you Garrett (or anybody else who knows the answer) On the "special features" on season 1 of the Dukes DVD set (disc 3) they did a "high octane salute" to the Dukes that featured some NASCAR drivers. Here is the list of drivers on that special feature: Larry Foyt Robby Gordon Jason Leffler Matt Kenseth Greg Biffle What big name NASCAR legend is missing from this list?
  9. Hmm, that sounds right to me. I'm agreeing with Charger. I can't believe I couldn't remember Augie Detweiller's name *smacks self on head*

  11. Sorry about you Chicago Bears losing. Oh well, go Cubs!! It'll be here before you know it.

  12. I saw it again last night. It seems like it's been longer than 7 months since I saw it last but I'm sure the date here is accurate. I just love hearing Hazard Kentucky mentioned. In the part of the movie where it's mentioned, Loretta hadn't become a superstar yet. I bet at that point in her life she never imagined she's someday be the queen of country music appearing on the king of all television shows. Loretta is a living legend and I see she's still touring despite being 78 years old. I have so much respect and admiration for her. She's beautiful in every way. I'm so thankful that my favorite female singer had an entire episode dedicated to her on my favorite show.
  13. Your last message here is over a week old but the cold hasn't let up down there has it? Tonight is the first night up here that we're getting below zero without the wind chill factor. Hopefully it will be the coldest night of the winter. Keep warm buddy.

  14. Okay, post your Super Bowl predictions here. I'll get the football rolling with the first one. Steelers-31 Packers-10 (Since everybody's going to be predicting a close game I thought I'd go out on a limb)
  15. Well then it must be the ornery feller who was running the hot engine smuggling ring over there at the old stone quarry in Stillson Canyon. I don't know his real or ficticious name but he would make a better leader of a biker gang than Mel Tillis. I haven't seen "Every Which Way but Loose" since it was out in theaters.....don't laugh, I'm serious.
