We've even pulled a moderator into this baseball rivalry and it's still a National League affair. Isn't there any Dukes of Hazzard fans out there who like American League teams? Garrett....Cubs Capt Redneck....Mets Brian...Brewers K-Duke15....Reds RogerDuke....Pirates My Pirates gave me hope the first few games but now they've gone back to being the Pirates. Sorry Garrett, I won't click onto a Cubs website. I don't want to risk getting a virus that shuts down my computer for 104 years.
Sorry that I couldn't find your old birthday thread Coy so I guess I'll start a new one. Happy birthday on April 17th. We'll all meet you down at the Boar's Nest on Tuesday to celebrate.
I didn't even know Steven Cannell was an author. All I've ever read the last 15 years is books about astronomy. I used to be a big Jack London fan but I've gotten away from that. And of course, I love the Holy Bible.
We'd rather have folks join of their own free will but we're not proud, we'll accept anybody. LOL Seriously though, we're glad to have you here whatever the reason. Hopefully you'll end up loving the show and will be a lifetime fan. Welcome to the HazzardNet!
I've never really been to a big league game (of any sport) where I was wearing clothes of the visiting team but I've heard it can get ugly especially later in the game when drunken idiots start acting like....well....drunken idiots.
It's amazing how these old posts sometimes manage to find their way back to the front page of the HazzardNet on occasion. Thanks for this interesting information. By the way, I'm related to Clark Gable. His mother is buried near me and shared last names with my grandmother as they were distant cousins.
As crazy as we've gotten with political correctness I'm surprised the PGA even allows Bubba Watson to play. NASCAR thinks he's a bad guy but thankfully the PGA is a little more open minded.
I'm with you Capt. I'd pick the Mets over the Yankees any day although I do have to admit I have the Yankees first baseman on my fantasy team. Today was a big win for my Pirates. After losing opening day to the winningest team in baseball last year (Phillies with 102) the Pirates beat them in extra innings today. To make matters better Alex Presley had the winning RBI and he's on my fantasy team. So, we have.... Garrett....Cubs Capt Redneck....Mets RogerDuke.....Pirates Jump in there folks. Who else wants in on the action? I think Brian is a Brewers fan and Meadowmufn is a Mariners fan.
You're correct Hoss. It's not you. But even though you're correct you're also not correct because you didn't pick the correct answer. Did that make any sense? The correct answer is RogerDuke. From season three, what city does Rosco's Aunt Emma and Uncle Wilbur live in? A) Atlanta Nashville C) Memphis
John is going to be turning 52 on Easter Day. I guess this means we won't be going to the Boar's Nest to celebrate this year since it will be closed. Happy birthday Bo!
Ouch. I feel your pain. The Pirates lost 1-0. It feels good to have the season start. Since both our teams are ranked about the same this should be a good rivalry. Hopefully we'll have other folks jump in here and support their teams.
John Schneider turns 52 on Easter Day. What member of the HazzardNet turns 52 7 days later? A) Meadowmufn Brian Coltrane C) MaryAnne D) B.L. Davenport E) Hoss C F) Roger Duke
From what I understand their calander was based on astronomical events that are just going to repeat themselves. Here's an analogy I use: Imagine I show an alien how our calander works. I then leave the room and the alien starts flipping through it and comes to the conclusion that human beings are going to be destroyed on December 31 since that's the last day listed. It's understandable why the alien would think that since I forgot to tell him that Jan 1 comes after Dec 31.
