B.L. got it right. He was mentioned in "Duke of Duke." Everyone's next assignment is to go down to "General Discussion" (the one toward the bottom under "The Show") and try to figure out the episode in the question "What episode......?" -
I know the scene very well but I'm not sure of the episode. It wasn't "The Ransom of Hazzard County" was it? I'll get folks from the trivia thread down here to help.

I just love Loretta. She's my favorite female singer and Charlie Daniels is my favorite male. I love that southern sound. It's too bad some of these newer singers try to hide their accent. I live in northern Pennsylvania so I don't hear a lot of accents but if I ever moved down south I'd have an accent in a couple days!

Hmmm, I'm not sure what this is but I'm looking for a cologne that makes me smell like Cooter Davenport. If I can't find any I'm just going to rub a little of that 90 weight axle grease on my neck that I have laying around my garage. I sure hope my wife likes it.

Welcome to Hazzard County my lee. It took me awhile to maneuver my way around here too. Of course I'd never used a computer before so I had a lot of learning to do. Let us know what we can do to help.

Alex-Dukes and Hoss got it right. In the regular series Jesse's late wife was named Lavinia or Martha depending on which episode it was. I like to believe that Lavinia's middle name (or nickname) was Martha and that's what caused the mix up. On "A Dickens of a Christmas" from the cartoon version of Dukes, Jesse's late wife was named neither of those two. What was it? Since this is so tough I'll make it 50-50. A) Ruth Elsie -
