I was talking to a guy from Tasmania today about his home. I knew it was SE of Australia but didn't know it was part of Australia. The analogy he used was Hawaii is part of the US even though it's an island. Of course Tasmania is closer to the homeland than Hawaii. It's a pretty fascinating place with an interesting history.

If I ever moved to the southern US I would pick up an accent in days. Charlie Daniels is my favorite male singer and Loretta Lynn is my favorite female. This makes me wonder if some southerners weren't happy when Dukes came out since the accents weren't that strong on the show. Some characters had them but overall I don't think they were very strong.

If I heard Daisy Duke's voice and Miz Emma Tisdale's voice without seeing their faces I could tell which was which. If Jesse Duke and Flash both had masks on I'd be able to tell which was which. If they took the 01 off the General Lee I'd still be able to tell it from Cooter's wrecker. I'm acting a little silly tonight Hobie. Did you slip a little of that mountain dew in my root beer when you were visiting this evening? I thought it tasted different.

If he goes to jail Cooter will just get his wrecker and hook a chain up to the outside window bars and pull him out....or Daisy will flirt with Enos and get the keys.... or Luke will shuck and jive Cletus...or Uncle Jesse will find some dirt on Boss and hold it over him until he lets him out.

I'm a lifelong Steeers fan. I live less than 2 hours to the north of Pittsburgh. I liked them even before they won their first of 6 Super Bowls. If the Patriots win they'll be the second team with 6 rings so Go Eagles.....plus they're a Pennsylvania team. I really wanted to see both Pennsylvania teams get in there. Oh well...Patriots are a great team. I don't like them but their greatness can't be denied.

Anybody with that last name will have a lot of fans. If I change my name to Roger Earnhardt people might actually like me!

LOL every time I saw a driver crash last year I told myself "I bet Garrett picked that guy this week."

I thought The Jaguars were going to beat the Patriots but the Patriots had another one of their miracle fourth quarters. Shucks! Right now the Eagles are leading 31-7. It looks like I'll be rooting for the Eagles in the Super Bowl unless something drastic happens here.

I can't understand why she would be dating a loser like Aaron Rodgers when the best moonshiner around thinks she's attractive. Does that make any sense to you Hobie? I mean, what's more important in life, fame and fortune or the ability to make your own sipping shine? She has a strange set of priorities. Maybe she's sniffed too many racing fuel fumes.
