  1. Oh, I remember. That's the one where he talks about building the house with Mississippi Lobloley Pine....I think it is....I always wondered if that was a real tree.
  2. Hi Dixie! It's great to hear from you. Keep posting if you have the time. I've missed you hanging around.
  3. LOL Here it is Sunday night and I just turned the TV off because your Cubbies are crushing my Pirates and it is too painful to watch. I wasn't expecting to see the subject come up here! It looks like my Pirates will finish last. Your Cubs are making a good run for the playoffs.
  4. Hmmm, never heard of pharoah ants. I hope they never come around here. Our pumpkins aren't doing very good. The ones that have survived the woodchucks just aren't getting very big. Tomatoes are good though...especially the cherry tomatoes.
  5. science
  6. I've never even owned a debit card or ATM card either.
  7. LOL That sounds like something my dad would do. He reminds me a lot of Uncle Cy Robertson from Duck Dynasty. Believe it or not, I've never owned a credit card. My wife has a couple that she has had since before we met. Nowadays you can't even rent a hotel room without one.
  8. astronomy
  9. colorful
  10. Scarecrow Festival.....what a great idea. I think it would be pretty popular around Halloween.
  11. Hmmm, I don't even know. Please don't worry about it because I'm always terrible with technology. If anybody else has a problem then maybe there's something to it but since it's just me I'm sure we can conclude that I'm the problem, not the website. Thanks
  12. Thanks Hoss but that still didn't work. All I got was a blank white page. I did click the "quote" part and then the message displayed then so I'll do that from now on.
  13. autumn
  14. Yes I did. If you send me a PM I can try it again.
  15. I'll get on fixing that right away MM.
  16. Whenever I get a PM I see the first few words but then can't figure out what to click on to see the rest. I don't remember having this problem before but.....as y'all know...I'm bad with technology.
  17. I've seen all six movies and there wasn't a single scene where a car jumped anything. Despite that flaw they are pretty good.
  18. Thanks JHDuke. I love it when these old threads get revived. I flipped through the 2 pages and seeing the old HN members names brought back old warm memories. Since I answered 9 years ago I have become a Lord of the Rings fan and love all 6 movies. I even ended up reading the 4 books.
  19. Good question. I've haven't really thought about it too much. I suppose Cooter has bailed out everybody in Hazzard County at least once so most folks wouldn't mind letting him borrow their vehicle. It was a little different early in season one. He wasn't as trustworthy. His wild streak was pretty bad, even stealing Limo One.
  20. The folks of Hazzard County are much more exciting than me.
  21. football (American football...do they even have fantasy soccer?)
  22. It was my least favorite episode. Still, the worst Dukes of Hazzard episode is better than the best episode of any other show ever made.
  23. Even though it might not be a perfect GL it's still a GL so I salute your neighbor.
  24. We went out to breakfast Saturday morning and Dierks Bentley's "What was I thinking?" was one of the songs that was playing while we were eating. I always love it when "hood sliding like Bo Duke" comes on.
  25. I don't do much technology so I don't know what loop means but I do know that once in awhile I put my Dukes soundtrack CD in when I'm driving down dirt roads, like on the way to the dirt track. I just love Rosco singing "My old dog his name is Flash. I don't know why 'cause he ain't too fast. He runs two steps then he runs out of gas. In a one dog race he'd come in last." "That old Flash, he ain't too good at chasin' them possums through the woods. He never does a thing he should. He just sleeps and eats his food."
