  1. Hey Joseph, who's your favorite current NASCAR driver? Who is your favorite retired driver?
  2. Ya got the Roger Duke here WOLFMAN. How ya doing this fine evening sir?
  3. I did something similar yesterday but not with cactus. I have mint, lemon balm, asparagus, live-forever, horseradish and chives and they accumulate a lot of leaves and stuff in the fall so if I don't clean things up they won't grow as good. It looks like another day of firewood and mowing today. A little cold for the dirt bike. Maybe I'll get a campfire going tonight.
  4. Thanks Hoss. My wife was a big MASH fan so she appreciated you posting the picture.
  5. Besides being a General, what did his character act like? Kinda funny....he was a General on MASH but he hated the General on Dukes.
  6. At reunions my family does the Buttermilk 5.00. Each participant drinks a quart of buttermilk and runs around the barn 5 times. If nobody makes it without getting sick the person who made it the furthest is declared the winner.
  7. Would that increase the chance of accidents?
  8. Last warm day here for awhile. We're supposed to get a week long cold snap. I've been riding my dirt bike a lot and working on next year's firewood. In People's Choice that I watched this morning Jesse was cutting firewood. I'm also putting together a brand new trampoline in hopes that I'll get too see grandkids someday and yesterday I mowed my yard for the first time this spring.
  9. Thanks for posting this. I bet the numbers in tv viewing will be through the roof. People are so desperate for LIVE competition of any kind.
  10. CooterPeople's Choice....season 2 -- Thelma Claire Rodgers (TC) comes into town with the intent to run against Boss for the position of Supervisory Administrator (different than County Comissioner....not as much work involved but the position pads Boss's wallet). Her father was cheated out of beating Boss for the same position years ago. Boss tricks election official Emery Potter and his fiance Mable Wooster into going to Chicamahonny so TC can't register but the Duke boys go there and interupt the wedding to get Emery back in time. Despite Boss's attempt to rig the election it ends in a tie and the boys have to run to Chicamahonny to interupt another wedding attempt after they learn Emery was the only person who didn't vote. Emery and Mabel end up getting married on the back of Cooter's truck on the way back to Hazzard. Emery voted for TC seconds before the deadline which gave her the win. Boss is furious when he finds out Rosco never voted. -- An hour before the deadline Emery said that everybody had voted. Then we found out Bo and Luke hadn't. Then we found out Emery hadn't. Then we found out Rosco hadn't. -- TCs husband and son showed up at the end of the episode. I didn't like that she never told Bo and Luke about them. Also, they wouldn't have been flirty if she would have been wearing a ring, which she wasn't. -- In yesterday's review I mentioned BB in unit #2. In this one Cooter has #2 but it is a blue pick-up truck, not green. -- Cooter's baseball and mitt are back again. -- Rosco has a pretty ugly attempt of hood sliding in this one. -- When Boss said he might win the (rigged) election unanimously Rosco replied "It might not even be that close" -- After seeing a road sign that said DIP and the using the dip to jump the General over a hay wagon Waylon said "I thought dip meant down"
  11. Hmmm, memory ain't what it used to be. I'm not sure what I did so don't take too much time looking. I'm sure these 2 will help thegenerallx out.
  12. Granny Annie....season 2 -- Granny Annie forces the Duke Boys to take money for fixing her roof even though they don't want it. They spend a 5 dollar bill at the Boar's Nest. Boss finds out that it's fake and makes a deal with Big Jim Downey for the engraving plates even though Boss has no idea where they are. (he blames greed). The Dukes find out that Boss knows about the fake bills and go back to tell Granny and she claims it was money from her late husband's moonshine deals. (Jesse said they were never married). The Dukes figured out Granny was counterfeiting the fives but Rosco followed their oil trail there and got the engraving plates and gave them to Boss. Boss doubled his asking price but Big Jim bought them anyways but Bo, Luke and BB Davenport (Cooter's other cousin) stole them in a classic shuck and jive. After Big Jim got his money back from Boss he was driving him away to kill him but a tied up Rosco made a tearful plea to the Dukes to save him which they did....with the help of Jesse, Daisy, BB and Rosco who got loose. -- The Oak Ridge Boys are the first celebrity victims of Rosco's speed trap. They sing early in the episode even though everybody else ends up singing at the end...except Mickey Gilley who sings twice. -- I just love these old Southern ladies....Granny Annie, Swamp Molly and Emma Tisdale...and all 3 love Jesse. -- I love the scene where Granny is driving Enos's patrol car and he's a passenger and they're singing The Old Rugged Cross. --BB's truck is listed on the door with Cooter's logo as Unit#2 even though it is only a pick-up, not a wrecker. It says BB and not Cooter. -- While racing BB at the beginning Bo said to Luke "Why don't you let him win just this one time?" Luke responded "You sure are generous when I'm driving".
  13. Me too. Hey Hoss, could you work your magic and dig up that map making thread I did where I listed all the residents, roads, businesses, water, landmarks and other counties?!
  14. I didnt have to major in English. My parents taught it to me before I even went to kindergarten.
  15. I don't believe you. I think it's magic.
  16. I don't care who you are...now that's funny right there.
  17. Italy (I have no idea who that is but I'm guessing he's Italian)
  18. I was watching the news today and they were talking about a movie that is out for streaming (or whatever that fancy stuff is called). It is titled "Arkansas" and stars Vince Vaughn, John Malkovic and (Thor's brother) Liam Hemsworth. It's about a small time Southern crime boss. I suspect that he isn't as nice as our favorite small time Southern crime Boss but still, they have some similiarities. I don't remember who wrote the book but the same guy who wrote the screenplay is also the same guy who directed it and stars in it. He said that the boss character reminded him of his grandfather. The name of this writer/director/ actor is Clark Duke! Yep, he's a Duke boy! A Duke boy with a grandfather like Boss Hogg. Well, we had Bo once believing Boss was his father. We had A Duke planning to marry a Hogg (poor Daisy has her heart broken). So I guess anything can happen.
  19. Those are Hazzard County prices! Speaking of that, I'm in the middle of season 2 and there are still gas pumps at the Boar's Nest. A distant memory bell is ringing here. Wasn't somebody here awhile ago wondering when the pumps disappeared?
