  1. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news Joseph but I haven't been doing fan of the month anymore since there haven't been as many people logging in. I like the idea of starting it up again so maybe I could do a few starting on May 1. Unfortunately you haven't been on very long and only have 7 posts so if I start it up again you would not get it before other people. If you stay around as an active member I see a fan of the month award in your future in late summer. I hope you'll be around for a long time. You are a great Dukes fan and we enjoy having you here.
  2. Money to Burn -- Every year Boss sends a million dollars in beat up dollar bills to have them replaced with new bills. He hates the idea of destroying money so he schemes up a plan to have his cake and eat it too. The plan really excites him when he realizes he can frame the Duke boys and get them thrown in jail while he's making a million dollars. -- There is a great chase scene to start things off. The General is going over some pretty big rocks in a creek before Enos gives up the pursuit. -- This is Cletus's first appearance in the series. He is the driver for Boss's Hazzard County Armored Car Company. -- From a distance the Duke boys hear an explosion when Cletus is attempting to blow up phone books disguised as a million dollars. Luke says "Are there any volcanos in Hazzard County?" Bo responds, "Well, not since Mr Puckett blew his stack when I brought his daughter home two days late after the hayride." -- This was pretty funny: Daisy tricked Rosco and Enos into chasing her in the General by wearing Bo's helmet. When they caught her Rosco said "I thought you were that no account Bo Duke". Daisy responded "Well, if you can't tell the difference between me and Bo, either you're losing your eyesight or I'm losing my figure." Enos chimed in, "You ain't losing nothing. Now, I got 20, 20, 20,20 vision." -- I loved it when Jesse was on the CB and told the boys "It looks like you might pull this off, God willing." Bo responded "With you and Him on our side, how can we lose?" -- What a great episode. It has a lot of twists in it and a fantastic ending that will sure surprise anybody who has never seen it before. The writers outdid themselves with this one.
  3. Hey Bo, if you have time today after working on the farm, chasing women, fixing cars, running from the law, having donuts and beer at Cooter's garage, straightening the curves and flattening the hills, join us at the Boar's Nest for a buttermilk. 60 is kind of a big deal. Happy Birthday Cousin.
  4. I've gotten so mad at video games before that I quit. Most of the time you cool off and come back the next day but sometimes it can last permanently. I'm not much of a gamer though. The new ones are just too complicated for a simplistic guy like me.
  5. ROFL....If it helps, have her sign up for the HazzardNet. That way every time you're watching an episode she can log in and yell at me. That way we're all happy. You're happy because you're watching Dukes. I'm happy because I helped you watch Dukes. She's happy because she gets to blow off steam to the guy that started all the trouble.
  6. To quote Rocky's manager Mickey when they unveiled the Philadelphia Rocky statue in Rocky III..."A definite ting ah beauty!"
  7. Of course you have to be talented as well. That leaves me out.
  8. Y Sorry but he is not on the HazzardNet. There used to be stars from the show on here....I'm not sure which ones. When I started Rosco was the only one still around. Meadowmufn would know who else has been here.
  9. Wednesday is going to be a big one for Bo....60 years old! One of his fans, yours truly, turns 60 just 7 days later. His Uncle Jesse turns 100 next month.
  10. Welcome to Hazzard County. We are really excited to have you here. May your stay be long and happy!
  11. Thanks for serving. I was in the USMC Reserves for 6 years. (1978-1984). Of course I didn't see as much as a full time Marine but still got to do a lot. I live in Pennsylvania and am not much of a traveler but thanks to the reserves made 4 trips to California and 3 trips to the Carolinas....and one trip to Atlanta around the same time they were filming "Daisy's Song"
  12. This Is really awesome....and yes I do now have the music in my head....LOL. I see there's no gun sticking out through the opening so I guess we're all safe for the moment at least.
  13. Do you mean someone on HazzardaNet who uses the screen name CrazyCooter or the actor Ben Jones?
  14. You're welcome but I had nothing to do with giving you a place. HazzardNet is 100% Meadowmufn. I am truly not exaggerating when I say you are an amazing artist and your talents seem superhuman to me. Even if your art was not Dukes related I would feel the same way. We are really lucky to have you here. Despite Flint's last post there are not enough explanation points in the world to describe our WOWs!!!
  15. Deputy Dukes -- We just finished our watchalong. It was Hoss, Hobie, Flint, Colt and myself. These are always fun. --In Deputy Dukes the boys end up in jail and Boss and Rosco make a deal with them for their freedom and car. They get deputized and dress up as deputies and go to Springville to pick up public enemy #1-#10 (yep, he's a bad boy) Rocky Marlow. The daughter of an old acquaintance of Rocky's (played by Dolly Parton's sister) pretends to be a deputy but is really scheming to murder Marlow to get revenge for his sending her dad to prison. Great episode!
  16. Gotta go check the pressure in the still...or I'll have a moonshot..I'm gone
  17. I had a chance to race him too. It's posted somewhere. A thread called "would you have raced Luke?" or something like that
  18. Thank you everybody. It was fun. Any last thoughts?
  19. And I'm heading outside to work so I'm serious
