I just got a late Christmas present, the book "Them Dukes! Them Dukes" written by Billie Rae Bates. This thing is 414 pages and at first glance looks fantastic. I'm so excited. I'll read every word of it. I was also told that I am getting something in the mail autographed by John Schneider but it didn't make it before Christmas. The exciting anticipation will definitely delay my usual annual post-Christmas blues.

We made national news. Our area is the only place in the USA where it was snowing Christmas morning, even including the Rocky Mountains! We got a foot and have another foot on the way.

I'm big on Christmas music. It's all I ever have in my head for 2 months each year, from mid Nov to mid Jan.

When I was a kid my mom's cousin took me and my brother for a ride down a curvy mountain in his stock car and the hood flew off. Luckily we didn't crash. Hood pins would have been nice!

I'm sorry to hear about your dog MM. Do whatever you can to put yourself in the Christmas mood even though it may not end up being your best Christmas ever. Hopefully you'll get another dog soon. We're going to get a white Christmas. Everything is green now but it's supposed to start snowing in 3 hours and not stop until we get 2 feet.

You're right Hoss. That's the episode. My episode reviews are going to come in handy to double check things like that. This is a good idea Hobie. I just wish you would have thought of it before I started watching the whole series again.....LOL -
My favorites are.... Charlie Daniels, Hank Jr, Loretta Lynn, Waylon, Hank Sr, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton. As far as non-country I like Elvis and Sade. The governor of NY is upset that NY City is still accepting flights from the UK. The odd thing is that it was his political party who thought it was bad when flights were restricted from China.
