Does anybody know what happened? I have been trying to log in every day. It's good to be back. Could I have been hacked or something? If Hoss doesn't know maybe MM can figure it out. I missed you guys. What a weird coincidence I would be able to get back on right after a thread was started about it! I even tried to create a new account with a different e-mail address but couldn't do that either.

I have no idea who these people are that you are talking about....and I don't want to know. They sound like a bunch of humans that make a lot of mistakes. Now, as for the folks of Hazzard County, they couldn't be more awesome.

That's no secret around here. MM is loved and respected around here as much as the stars of the show are.

Trip to Akron went well. I got out tonight and did some cold cold star gazing and now I'm checking out the dirt bike races. We have grandkids spending the night.

Well Spike, the forecasters got it right here. We got a foot. I have to take my grandson back to college in Akron Ohio tomorrow. It's 2 hours one way. It looks like the roads will be clear.

We're going through that right now. People are rushing to the stores and buying stuff like crazy. They are only forecasting a foot. That's not a very big deal for Lake Erie. Oh well, people like excitement I guess. Come to think if it, that why I'm a Dukes fan.....and that's why I like the HazzardNet. Speaking of excitement. I hear the US national debt is at 30 trillion now. Wow, if we keep up this irresponsibility, the debt will get really high someday. (pardon the sarcasm)

I just wonder what they were thinking. Unless they were dumb as rocks they must have known that real Dukes fans were going to be disgusted. That's a shame since the plot really was good. They must have thought that they would gain a higher number of young viewers than they would lose. In the end I'm sure it was a business decision. Does anybody know how much profit it made, if any?

Great job posting this Skipper. January 26 should be a big deal around here but it is usually overlooked and underappreciated for it's hysterical value.....not to mention it's historical value.
