  1. I guess this quote applies to our day today as well. I do seem to be over my cough and chills but I was really exhausted all day even with a lot of sleep.
  2. Unless the guy's DVD player doesn't work. This thing is about 25 years old so it's no surprise. The door won't open to put the DVD in. My wife has another one stashed away in the closet. It's old too but must work since she's not the type to keep something around that is useless (even though she keeps me).
  3. Well Spike, look at it this way. When you do find your next place you will appreciate it so much more because of what you have been through. And when you appreciate things you are a much happier person. This jerk that has been terrorizing everybody will never be happy so you will end up the winner. It's like Waylon always said "On the HazzardNet we tend to like happy endings." (or something like that)
  4. That's awesome that you are always looking for a Dukes connection. You are a true fan.
  5. It was good hearing from you again ralmcg. How have you been lately?
  6. That is a good point. I bet that guy will start up the reviews again tomorrow. Just a hunch.
  7. It's a bit depressing how slow things are here on the HazzardNet.
  8. Are you going to look at a third one anytime soon? It's always nice to have a cool wife. My wife keeps her cool better than I do but it sounds like yours has mine beat in the cool department.
  9. Thanks Spike. It's been a rough day for me but my wife made a little progress.
  10. Another bad turn. I have covid-19 now. I started getting symptoms last night but it's in full gear now. I'm sitting here on the hottest day of the year and I'm all bundled up like it's winter. I haven't done anything all day and I feel like I've just ran a marathon. I have a cough and upper respiratory congestion but it's not too bad. The health department said it's safe to say I have it and a test isn't required under these circumstances. So, statistically I'm in the "probable" category even though I clearly have it.
  11. Now that's funny. Thanks for posting it!
  12. I got a great comet view last and the forecast looks good tonight. Check it out if you can in the northern sky under the Big Dipper. You will get a better view if you get in a dark location and use binoculars. The best time is an hour and a half after sunset.
  13. Thanks for asking. The situation has gotten worse. I have twin daughters (actually step daughters). They have husbands and five kids total. Add my wife and I and it totals 11 people. We were all together a week ago and now 7 of the 11 are sick. I'm still fine but I was being more careful than the others. A lot of people are starting to say that everybody will get this eventually unless they develop a vaccine and that presents a whole other set of questions. The big question is: can you get it again? Definitely unchartered territory.
  14. She didn't have a very good day but we're hoping for a better one tomorrow. I'm trying to decide if I should call Doc Appleby or Doc Petticord. Which one do you folks think is best? I'm still symptom free for now.
  15. Bad news. My wife has it. I don't have any symptoms yet but we're both under quarantine for at least 2 weeks.
  16. I've seen Comet Neowise in the northern sky the last two nights but they weren't very good views because of some clouds. Anybody else get a view?
  17. I'm starting to get a little nervous. Our daughter and her family left this morning after spending a week here and everybody felt fine. It wasn't too long after they left that my wife started coughing and went downhill quick. She developed a fever and chills. She's going to call the doctor in the morning to see about a test. We're in northwest Pennsylvania and they came from northern Virginia so neither are hot spots but that doesn't give us a lot of comfort.
  18. The founder of HazzardNet, Meadowmufn, also has Rosco as a favorite character. In fact, they were personal friends. Rosco used to be on the HazzardNet and used to come into the chat room. Young folks like you are truly the future of Hazzard County. You are vital to carrying on the tradition and I can't express enough how much us original fans appreciate you. Have you gone down to Rosco's section in the characters forum? He has a birthday coming up this month.
  19. LOL....that's why they always struggled for money to pay the mortgage....their insurance was so high from all those wrecks!
  20. Since you have national health care over there Hoss does the government pay for hospital bills in a car accident or is the responsibility of the auto insurance company?
