I get along great with my mechanic and also consider him to be a friend. We talk about politics a lot and have the exact same views on just about everything so I always like to turn the conversation in that direction if he has time. He's like a lot of older redneck mechanics....he is a bit limited when it comes to some of the higher high tech computers but besides that, can fix just about anything.
Ask him if he's drank any pond water lately.
Our daughter and her family arrived today and will be staying with us for a week. It's going to be fun and hectic. Graduation party Saturday and family reunion Sunday.
Hmm, I haven't been able to log in for 2 days. I thought the problem was with HN but apparently it was with my tablet since everything is fine now and I see that others have been logging in. It just said "This website is not available"
Count me in Hobie. You always do the Buttermilk 5.00 every year around my barn and the least I can do to return the favor and race in the Moonshine 400.....although it isn't quite as fun as when that Popcorn Sutton feller used to be in it.
Absolutely a perfect work of art. It is completely impossible to tell this from a real car. Usually the engine gives it away but not when you build cars. The dashboards can often show imperfections too but not when you build cars. Sit back tonight and admire it and don't be humble about it. You earned the opportunity to be proud of your work and talent. Thanks again for sharing this. We're grateful you let us be part of it.
Oh no, it sounds like you are an offendaphobic. Years of therapy and medication can fix that. The first thing you need to do is stop watching Dukes of Hazzard. According to liberals, it is the cause of all the world's problems. I saw it on CNN and they wouldn't lie.
I hope you will get to. I love pictures of where the first 5 episodes were filmed. Hoss will help you as soon as he sees this. It's good to hear from you.
I didn't blow my horn because I didn't want him to think I was doing it in protest. I wanted to catch him and give him a thumbs up but i spent all of the race in his dust.....did I mention we stayed below the speed limit? LOL
You might be surprised how many Confederate flags you see up here Hobie.....mostly in yards and front license plates. Not all of us Yankees have lost their sanity. Ray Kohn and his Northeast Ohio Dukes are from my neck of the woods.
We just got back from our daughter's in Virginia. On the Pennsylvania Turnpike on the way home I was being passed by an orange car and looked over and saw a big 01 on the door. And then I noticed it was a newer Charger with a Confederate flag on the top. You guess it. I decided to go after it.....keeping under the speed limit of course......I lost.....but still, not everybody can say they raced a General Lee. It turned on Interstate 99 and headed north toward Penn State. I think it had New York plates. I wonder if it was heading home after going to Cooter's.
