Hobie Hartkins and one other reacted to Skipper Duke for a topic
Cousin Hobie I have. Maybe it's that white car Luke was driving in Reunion(1997) when they were in town looking for Daisy's kidnappers.2 points -

Good evening all, Thank you for accepting me on the site. I remember Dukes when I was younger and the girls having a crush on John Schneider, LOL. Good times and great memories come to mind. I love reading posts and listening to ideas about the show- most of all, I enjoy the enthusiasm. I pretty much have a simple life. I love listening to old music- like music before I was born- The Beatles, 1960s girl groups and just anything upbeat and happy Thanks again all!1 point -

I'm back on the first season and the first episode is " One Armed Bandits" and it turns out that Luke loaned his car to Cooter and he never gets it back! OK..... 1. What kind of car was it? 2. Why did Cooter need it? 3. Why didn't Luke ever get it back? Nobody seems to have thought about this!1 point -

Cousin Roger Duke I recommend her to sign up here. She's one of my friends over on Fakebook. Yes y'all no typo. You read that right. Fakebook is my new name fer that place as we have to mind what we say and do over there. Like Cousin Hobie Hartkins said "Facebook bites a## it's run a communist and is only free speech if it's something they agree with, which last time I checked there's nothing free about that!"1 point -

Looks like the door numbers are moving forward next season https://www.jayski.com/2021/08/02/nascar-possibly-moving-car-numbers-forward/ Rumor is RickWareRacing might scale back to a stronger two car team for 2022, if that's the case he could stand to make some money selling or leasing one or two of his charters. I know the team is going to lose the RPM charter they're currently leasing. Racing is back at Watkins Glen is this weekend, since the Olympics are still going on you'll have to check your local listings to see which channel the races are on. On a side note Indycar is racing on the streets of Nashville Tennessee this weekend. Hopefully it's a good race.1 point

Friday Night In Hazzard
Skipper Duke reacted to Hobie Hartkins for a topic
Well guys....looks like it's Friday night.....and I DO have to work tomorrow but it won't be THAT bad, I hope. But tonight, it's Friday night and just like in '79-'85....it's Friday....the official DOH Day of the week. In here, every day is sunny, ( ever notice how it hardly ever rained in Hazzard but they were able to farm? LOL!) and is a Friday or Friday night......and everybody knows everybody else and even " Enemies" ( notice the quotes) don't really HATE on each other! This and many other reasons, ( there are problems but they all get solved and there's a happy ending!), are why I love Hazzard and will live here until I am buried in Boss's cemetary ( Hoss.....what was the name? ...can't remember..... Hogg's Heavenly Acres?? ......it's on the opposite side of the county from my car lot and I never get over there! I live in the building I work at. It saves me from drinking and driving. I save that for The Moonshine 400, which is coming up later this summer! You guys be getting ready for it or if you want to qualify, to race yourself, you better let me know!1 point -

Count me in Hobie. You always do the Buttermilk 5.00 every year around my barn and the least I can do to return the favor and race in the Moonshine 400.....although it isn't quite as fun as when that Popcorn Sutton feller used to be in it.1 point -

You'd be best off using an image hosting site and then linking your images. This means that you upload your pictures to another site, and that site provides you with a simple line of code to paste into your post on HNet. I pay for image hosting, and while the site I use does have free accounts with a limit of 250 images (a low number compared to rivals), and they've been more reliable of late, I can't recommend them. I only stay because the thought of moving around 12,000 images is too much for me! I hope I haven't made the process sound too difficult. Each site will do things slightly differently, but once you're setup, they make things pretty easy.1 point -

I scored a bit of gold at a garage sale over the weekend, a Nascar collectible car signed by the King, Richard Petty. It was in a box with other 1:18 and 1:24 scale muscle cars. It didn't have a price on it so I made an offer of $10 for that car and the lady said ok. When I got home I took the car out of the box and seen Petty's signature and my mouth fell on the floor. My wife did a Google search which brought up a current ebay listing for the same car but unsigned going for $140.0 points
