This one's been on the back burner for a while. It's Miz Tisdale's Checker cab from 'The Hack of Hazzard'. IMCDb lists it as a 1971 model. I've helped Bo and Luke out by removing the rust/primer and replacing the emblem on the hood - to be honest I had enough of rust and primer on Swamp Molly's pickup . The only other disclaimer is the poster on the trunk. Despite watching the episode over and over I couldn't make out the small text. I'm sure the top line is correct, and I'm fairly sure the line under 'Funeral Home' isn't 'Hazzard', but I just couldn't read it. If anyone knows the correct text I'll alter it (it may have been in another episode on a billboard destroyed by …

This was portrait I drew of Boss Hogg from the episode "Duke vs. Duke." Boss was explaining to Rosco that his secret weapon against the Duke boys was a "seeecret." The expression on Boss' face after he made that statement is priceless, even though it was for only a fraction of a second. I must say...he was my favorite character on the Dukes.

Well I was just editting some DoH pics and a question poped into my head,"What way to other people like to edit pictures?" I like to use picnik. I also like to use some of the apps on muzy.com. Mainly the photo brush which is where they turn a photo black and white and then you can turn any part of the picture you want into color. Thats what I'm doing right now and I have some fun seeing what DoH picks I can work with. So, what do you guys use to edit pictures?

G'day everyone, I have been very quiet and haven't posted alot really but have started a cool Dukes of Hazzard project - custom pinball. What can I say other than this will be a massive project that is going beyond my current skill set (hoping to learn enough to finish this dream project). It will involve CAD designing, timber work, steel work, artwork and god help me programming. It will be a full size pinball with a cabinet designed off the well known and typical Bally / WMS 90's cabinets with some unique mechanisms inside. It will have a Cooter's garage, Jessie's Barn, Boss Hogg's Office and the bar of The Boards Nest as well as 2 ramps and one just has to be a j…

Hi guys, I am wanting to draw up in illustrator the artwork for the Hazzard County Police Department police badge for a project that I am working on that I will release when it looks a little more serious than just some sketches. Can anyone point me in the direction of a nice clean, large, sharp image of the logo that is on the police doors please. Once done I will make it available here for others to use. Thanks in advance.

After I found the graphic the other day with the dimensions I created the cad graphic yesterday and thought it would be cool to design a themed General Lee "01" Dress / Driver ring just for fun. As a past time I enjoy 3d designing and mainly do pinball parts to help friends out as parts are no discontinued for many of the pins that are 20 or more years older. This ring is approx 7mm wide in the band and 1.5mm thick so not too chunky and uncomfortable with a slight taper to the outer edges for a more comfy fit. On the top is my interpretation of a V8 motor cylinder which is 16mm round with a slight domed top with 01 recessed in. I did an artistic interpretation of what you…

I'll say that I've been working on a piece for HazzardNet. It's been started since the end of December. I'm slowly finishing it. Here's it without color and the stars.

I'm adding a junkard outback of my Hazzard Garage model and I'm hoping ya'll can help me with some suggestions on what cars to add to the model. Many times in the series, Cooter mentions having something 'out back' (like the extra Chargers that time they made decoy General Lees). Who can remember other examples? Mark

I did a favor for a good friend of mine recently, and he drew this for me to say thank you. I thought I'd share. The image of me is very accurate; dark work shirt, blue baseball cap and glasses... and when I'm driving the General I'm always smiling! Thanks Austin! I love it, I love it!

Thanks to everyone for your comments. I've had a few questions about how my pictures are done, most recently from dukefan1, so I thought I'd try a brief explanation. I'm not saying this is the right way, just my way. Most of the computer images we deal with everyday are some kind of bitmap ie. a rectangular block made up of a grid of different colored dots or 'pixels'. This includes everything from drawings done in MS Paint to digital photos. They're very convenient for most purposes, but do have limitations. Vector graphics are stored as an outline shape and a fill color which makes them ideal for this sort of artwork. In the example below, the top circle is a bitmap tha…

Hello all, first time member here so let me introduce myself. My name is Roy and I live in Holland (Europe). I’ve been active on some other Dukes boards under the username “CNH 320â€. Big time Dukes fan and moreover TV and Movie car enthusiast. Being a Dukes fan, of course my dream is to one day own a full scale General Lee. Till that time I collect diecast TV and Movie cars. Having a couple of 1/18 diecast models, I thought I would be nice to have a 1/18 Boars Nest backdrop. Therefor I was wonder if there’s anyone who made a 1/18 (vector) art of the Boars Nest. I’ve seen some pretty nice artwork from HossC in de “Buildings of Hazzard County†topic. Maybe a n…

I'm putting this here because it is considered fan art. But this is something I've thought was needed. If you use Google Chrome, you might have searched for a Dukes of Hazzard theme and found out there was none. Well no worry, I have created one. It might not be the best but I think its useable. This is the link to it. I hope ya'll like it.

Hello! I figured since I might be drawing fanart more often that it would be a better idea to have one thread/topic than to post it all on it's own every time, and I have a really good piece to start it with. It's a drawing I did of Bo with a horse. The song "My Rifle, My Pony and Me" kept coming up on Spotify and I got really inspired for some reason, so I drew the song. (except the rifle, I didn't want to render that much metal AND wood) My friend is a horse girl and she said that Bo would have a Chestnut Quarter Horse Mare named Miss Joanne. It's my biggest project ever, with the multiple subjects and more body than just the head. I had a lot of fun with it, addin…

Hey y'all I haven't been feeling great today and had to go home from school early. I was ready to fall asleep until my head hit the pillow,at which point I was wide awake. After about half an hour of useless tossing and turning I gave up on sleep and began to doodle. Gradually the doodle grew until this appeared It's what I think of when someone mentions Dukes to me. I would have included the cast in the picture but I'm rubbish at drawing faces. Then I drew this Sorry for the blurriness but that's the best shots I could get

Hoss's General Lee artwork (which I think looks really good) reminded me of something I did on an old fanfic folder years ago (like 14 years ago...). Keep in mind y'all, I can't draw. What I ended up doing was tracing the two cars you see in the picture. What I can't remember tho' is what image I traced them from. The folder had started with the just the Confederate flag and the 01 box on it. Then I drew the crossed racing flags. Then I realized the rebel flag looked out of place so I started drawing the General around it. Then I had all that room on the back of the folder and thought, "I need Rosco's patrol car!" And thus, some cheesy fan art was born. Sure spruced u…

It first started out as a plain old yellow notebook. Once I started to become obsessed with Dukes of Hazzard, I decided to draw an 01 on it. It then turned out to have all this stuff on it. It is now a piece of work with signatures of my friends and I'm going to keep it forever. I love what a little idea can do.
