Tomorrow, an old interview of Waylon Jennings is going to be on NPR (National Public Radio). I think the show is going to lead with Willie Nelson though. It would be awesome if the interview took place while Dukes was being filmed. Maybe he mentioned it. If you miss it, I bet you can probably catch it on NPRs website. Just to clarify...the interview will aired September 1 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. NPR is doing a series of old interviews from country music stars this week.

I dont know if anybody else has heard, but I just read at cmt.com that "Good Ol' Boys" has been certified as the first platinum country music ringtone for sales over 1 million! I just think thats so cool!

In Hazzard, the more things change, the more they stay the same. This is also true at Cooter's Place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. About a year ago, Cooter's in Gatlinburg relocated to nearby Pigeon Forge due to unforseen circumstances. The new location does not have the 'familily fun center' gocarts and indoor mini golf. On April 22nd 2006, Bernadette and Paul, from Toowoomba in Queensland Australia, made the two hour trip to Brisbane, with their brand new General Lee Buggy, to meet John Schneidder. We arrived at about 9:30 am , met Daniel, the organizer and parked The General. Paul blew the Dixie Horn (yes, it has one!) infront of the waiting crowds and they all cheered, which got Paul going! I'm sure John heard it too, he would've been there by then and EVERYWHERE you went, you could hear it! For any and all of you 'Dukes' fans in or near the North Georgia area, please make it a point to come to the first ever "Hazzard in the Hills" event being held in Helen, Georgia on 08/16/08. We lost another great figure in Hollywood and country music, Buck Owen passed away at age 76. He was on Hee Haw with Roy Clark. He wrote many famous tunes such as 'Act Naturally'. Many pop singers also sang his music. Buck you will be missed.

i emailed the web site tvshowsondvd.com to find out when the dukes of hazzard is coming to dvd. the rssponse is that it will come out early 2004 and its the first season on dvd and the results of the sales will determine the release of more seasons of the show.

The Hagerstown, MD Speedway is having a "Dukes of Hazzard" night on Saturday, June 9, with Ben Jones as a special guest from 4 to 7 p.m. A General Lee will also be there. Admission is just five bucks and gets you a full night of dirt-track racing events. For more info, see the website here.
