Simon MacCorkindale, known better by Dukes fans as the conman that assumed the identity of cousin Gaylord Duke, as passed away. Unforutnately they refer to the "Duke brothers" as opposed to the Duke cousins.

just got the email from cooters place dukes will be back on tv starting sept. 10 there will be a dukes launch special marathon then sept 13 dukes will be on air mon-fri at 7pm I think this is great news now hopefully cmt will sponsor another Dukesfest yeeeeehaaaaa

Tom Wopat was just on the tv show Blue Bloods. The episode was titled "Women with Guns". Tom played a producer for a high-profile reporter.

Well We won!!! Warner Brothers is now saying the Confederate flag is going to STAY on the General Lee and saying the original story was"inaccurate" about banning the flag from future model kits or Die cast. Sounds to me they are just covering their arse from a potential big boycott and loss of possible revenue judging from the outcry on the net IMO.

While testing out the Dukes DVD link that takes ya over to Amazon.com - I noticed that there's a whole lot of 80's tv for sale in addition to the DOH DVD. Man, nostalgia has hit mass distribution! Considering all the reality tv on the air today, I'm predicting strong sales. Heh heh. And it's no accident that the Knight Rider DVD is shown available underneath the Dukes DVD on the Amazon page. This is a video I put together as a Tribute to the greatest show ever, "The Dukes of Hazzard". There was an article in the Erie (Pennsylvania) Times-News today. Apparently the writer (name not printed) of the article is familiar with the Dukes theme song because here is the first paragraph: "A Grinch has stolen a little bit more of John Schneider's Christmas than the law will allow: a couple of puppies." The story went on to explain that John's SUV was stolen in L.A. with two puppies in it that were intended for John's childern as Christmas presents. The SUV has been recovered but not the puppies. John Schneider is in USA Today (Feb 5, Life section) The story features how much work his new manager is finding for him. His manager's name is Steven Jensen. Hmmm, is there a connection here? Roger suggested that those of you who weren't able to attend the concerts in Niagara Falls by Tom and john might like to know a bit about them. I am not a review writer, but I'll try to give you an idea. First of all though I have to say I originally was only going to the Saturday Show. Then John's mom, wonderful lady that she is, heard I didn't have a ticket for Friday and lo and behold I find my self in the third row both nights, close enough to see Tom's beautiful eyes and john's gorgeous smile...but I digress... The famous Hazzard County Stunt Show, presented by the Northeast Ohio Dukes, will be at the Lake County Fair on August 20th! There are NO cast appearances involved, this is a car stunt show only. But it's a great show, featuring the General Lee and police cars in live, dirt-flying, chase-and-crash action. Hey all, Just thought I'd pass word that Karis had an apppendix attack on Saturday Night and had to have emergency surgery. She and Elly had planned on going with John this past weekend to NJ, but that is why they didn't make it. I'm sure it's all been extremely stressful for them...and for John being away from Karis like that. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers...

Tonight at 8, they are showing "Inside Fame: The Dukes of Hazzard" followed by a DOH marathon. It's all gonna happen 2 more times, too! What a wonderful wkend!

Just found out Bo Duke is going to be on "Dancing With the Stars"! My wife loves the show. I'll watch it occasionally just to hang out with her but never really paid too much attention. Now I have a reason to watch. I bet they'll be doing a lot of jumps.

I recommend folks rent the new video game before purchasing. It has excellent graphics!!! Original cast voices is a plus. Some of the adventures are not too bad... it seems to be more for an adult audience than kids. At least one level of free roam and multi player, open for folks who don’t want to do the missions would have been nice. There is a "Dixie" horn control button and one for yeehaa. The instruction booklet was disappointing, for the fact that it doesn’t give a listing of the one player mode missions. Both playstation 1 DOH games had an “episode†guide.
