John has announced that his movie "Collier & Co. - Hot Pursuit!" is going to be screened in Nashville, TN, on May 30 and May 31....right before the beginning of DukesFest! The screenings are at 7:00pm and John will arrive at the theater around 6:00 pm for a meet and greet with his fans. A special edition DVD will be available at the screenings and at DukesFest. If you buy a DVD and attend DukesFest, you will be able to be in a crowd scene in the sequel, "Collier & Co. 2 - High Octane!" I am a subscriber to Country Weekly (A Country music magazine - this one has Kenny Chesney on the cover) and had gotten my latest magazine in the mail yesterday afternoon. I was surprised while looking through it to find an article in it about Dukefest. It was a small article mainly stating the event, when, where, and how to get tickets. What had gotten my attention was the small picture of Ben in The General. As I said, it was small and had probably had only taken an inch or so of the page, but was excited to see the announcement in the magazine. It was good to see a picture of Ben in it as well.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell me how things work at dukefest in the nature of autographs. Now do they have a list of who is going to be where and what times? Any tips on getting autographs? If we are able to make the trip this year it would be our first and it is for my 5 year old son who is a huge dukes of hazzard fan and really wants to go but I was wondering if I could get some tips or help on what to do because he really would like to meet bo and luke. Thanks for any help it is greatly appreciatted.

This is not official DukesFest information - but since it's being held at this venue, I took it upon myself to snoop for some info. Looks like the Motorplex is smack-dab in town. The reason I ask is because I got to sing with her on one of the songs, and I was out there watching her for most of her performance. Hey ya'll ! Just got back from Nashville today, and thought I'd start a topic for DukesFest feedback. What did you enjoy the most? What didn't work out? It's hard for me to be objective, as I was one of a score of volunteers helping out over the weekend. I saw some dreams come true for a lot of happy people. I also met a number of folks who were disappointed, because they traveled a great distance to see John / Tom and didn't get a chance to get anywhere near them. (When 75,000 people are looking for autographs from six cast members, you know the numbers ain't gonna dice out. ) On the plus side, this was the best DukesFest of the entire run. Hey, did anybody get the Saturday Night stage show at DukesFest on video? In particular, we're looking for any video clips of Jacob, the lil' guy who was dressed up as Boss Hogg and who was on the stage with Cooter that night. Jacob was our Fan of The Month for June, as ya may recall. His folks contacted us to see if we had any video of him. Anyone got any good pictures of Tom? I have some but haven't gotten them on the computer yet. What I'm really interested in are some when he came on stage Sunday and flashed us with the great view of his chest! I have a favor to ask anyone who is going to Dukesfest. If possible can someone find out and post what is Dever Pyles correct birthday. Is it May 11th or is it Dec 25. This question is really bugging me, and I figured that maybe the answer can be gotten at Dukefest if anyone is able to talk with Ben, Cathy, James, John, Sonny, Tom or anyone else who is there and worked on the show. Thanks. Unfortunatly I am unable to make it.

If anyone has any pictures from the 2006 DukesFest that shows any of the orange wreckers / tow trucks (painted like the General Lee), please e-mail them to me at generaltowing@comcast.net I own the wreckers, and there was a malfunction with our digital camera, and we lost all of our pictures. We especially want pictures from Sunday, when we towed the cars off of the track after the stunt show. Thanks, Tina
