Is anyone going to the birthday bash/celebration at Cooters’ in Luray next weekend? Looks like a good time with a lot of the cast there.

I get e-mails from Cooter's and got a notice today that Pigeon Forge is closing. Nashville and Luray will remain open. Maybe Hoss can post a link.

I see Smokey and the Bandit tribute artist characters at The Dukes of Hazzard event Bo's Extravaganza, and of course The Dukes of Hazzard tribute artist characters too. Would it be ok if I ever attend Bo's Extravaganza in my Alan Hale Gilligan's Island Skipper outfit?

These photos were taken as we were pulling into the event on Saturday around 11 am local time. It had been raining for much of the previous afternoon, night, and earlier that morning. It was a muddy first day.

I just got home from an amazing experience near Youngstown Ohio. It was a Dukes of Hazzard stunt show that was absolutely unbelievable. Words can't describe how amazing it was but I'll try anyways when I write up a lengthy review of it tomorrow. Once again, thanks to Daney Duke for posting the information regarding this show on the northern DukesFest thread. Without her, I never would have known about it.

Maybe someone can post some information about the Hazzard Homecoming. I believe it starts in Georgia in a few days.

As y'all know from my post that introduced me in the Introduce Yourself thread... I have been a long time Duke fan since age 9 1996 TNN. Well, in 2012 on 8/12/12 my big time dream of meeting the cast and getting their autographs finally happened. It was an awesome experience! The cast even stayed at the same hotel that me and my mom stayed at! I got to have breakfast with Enos at his room. He carried with him one of those portable CD/Tape deck players, and played the long 2:06 Waylon Jennings version of the theme song on it on the walk to his room. Ben Jones is having a shin dig in Nashville with a few of the cast there to sign autographs, and there's another event in Covington the same weekend. Hello, i'm Rico from Berlin, the Capital of Germany. I like the Dukes since i was a little Boy. We saw the show first in 1986 in german TV. It was great. In Germany i have not seen a real General Lee till now, but next Suturday, 2015/08/02 i drive to Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Well y'all you heard right...Tom Wopat is finally coming to my state and I will finally be able to meet him!!!! After going to a few Dukefests and other smaller Duke related events, he is the one living actor on the show that I have yet to meet or get an autograph (well I don't have Coy's autograph or met him...). And it is even looking like I will be able to go!!! So if anyone is interested, in the area, or what not...Tom Wopat is coming to Monticello, Iowa on February 21 and 22!!!!! Hey everyone! Lawrenceburg, IN is having a Dukes of Hazzard Benefit Event "Dearborn County Turns Hazzard County" in August. It is going to be an exciting day for Dukes' fans. We will be having a Daisy Duke Look-a-Like Contest, a Flash (the dog) Look-a-Like contest, an Uncle Jesse's chili cooking contest, a car show and swap meet (where Sheriff Little, for one, will be driven into the event in his police car) where we will have many Dukes vehicles coming in from owners all over the area.
