How many of you have seen the new Hershey Kisses that are filled with different flavors? There is Cherry Cordial, Caramel, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Creme, Coconut Creme, Creme de Mint, Vanillia, Cheesecake... then you got the solid chocolate ones and the 'Hugs'. But what are your faves, and what favorites do you think cast members from the Dukes would like? I would have to say my favorite is a tie between Creme de Mint and Coconut Creme.

Manure ... An Intersecting fact Manure: In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be transported by ship and it was also before commerical fertilizer's inventions, so large shipments of manure were common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weight a lot less than when wet, but once water(at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by product is methane gas, As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOOM! Several ships were destroyed in this manner before…

You know the Round Robin "The Drive-Thru Barber Shop/Oil Change and Lube/Quiky Mart/Bar and Grill" well I have a seperate story going on paper written just by me privately now. You see everytime I send Doug a letter he gets another chapter of the story well there not very long but he doesn't have alot of time to read them either so it works out as well. But I was thinking or proposing a idea who ever can come up with best one to two page story I will print up and mail to my brother in Missouri he also like when I send pictures as well. Well So Far there is Chapter One: Meet the Crew. Chapter Two: The employee meeting, and Chapter Three: The St. Patricks Day Party. Chapter…

This a fun little game I played when I hung out at another website. It's basically played like the book "if you give a mouse a muffin" reads. For example, I might start with If you give Bo a calculator....... Then the next person would finish it up with something weird, humorous, etc and then start a new bit. You can use any character in the series. Ready? Here goes........ IF you give Roscoe a $100...........

So we've been sitting in the house for two days straight. On Wednesday my husband worked and I drove around grabbing supplies like canned goods, water, dog food, and extra gas. ON thursday it hit and we've been stuck inside since. Have you people any idea just how bored I am. I've already been outside just to look around and see what's been going on. The swamp back behind grandma mc kendree is almost up to her door. I"m thinking I'm going to be taking lots of pictures, especially since the folks up the street lost a pecan tree. Sad too, that tree always put out alot of nuts.

John..John..John! I want to meet John! Oh how I wish I could meet John! He's not just my favorite Duke, but my favorite actor and all time favorite celebrity. John..John..John, I want to meet John..I've been to Dukesfest, I got his autograph there, but that is not what I mean. An autograph, when you really think about it, is just a line or two and a name scribled across something. Standing in an autograph line for an hour or two hours or longer, waiting for a few seconds while an autograph is scribled out, then being rushed out the door, that is not actually meeting someone, not to me it isn't...John..John..John..Oh how I long to meet John! I'd like to have an hour with h…

Ok, I usually post something funny, thoughtful, or quirky for Earth Day. I know I was behind this year. Sorry I fell asleep at my desk. Blame it all on Enos for making me read those Japanese comic books he found! Anyhow, yes... Earth Day! I hope everyone had a happy Earth Day! Hope you all recycled, but remember there is more that people can do besides just recycling. Visit and donate to your local parks are one good deed. If you live in an area that has ditches, gather up a community group to clean the trash from the ditches. You can buy products that have less packaging. When buying cleaning products, look for environmentally safe labels. Give to Goodwill instead of th…

there is a couple of guys that like but in different ways? There is Brian he is having a birthday on Friday, and he is only going on 32. And he is real gabby and likes to joke around and I practically know his whole family as well. And there is Phil, I have been friends with since about 1998, you seen I met him on a dateline and we both like to go shopping and go to the beach and he's fifteen years old and he has 1994 Buick LeSabre in Gold and Brian doesn't have a car. Well Phil is single and doesn't have any kids and Brian has a 12 year old daughter and 7 year old son and I like both of them but for different reasons. You see when I had first met Phil I was talking to hi…

(I wanted to share this with ya'll. I did not write it, noted the author respectfully below. ~Chet Duke) By: EILEEN MOROCK 'Taken from the "Moonlighter" Feb. 2008 edition.' "When Dreams Die" Some of us, the dreamers... Were born to dance upon the wind.... Dreams are a funny things, full of power and magic. They can propel you to towering heights, and drive you to persist thru adversity and exhaustion. They can motivate you to blast thru obstacles, catapult hurdles and ignore impossiblities. A razor beam focus on a dream is a numbing drug, allowing you to bear the worst circumstances. Ordinary people do extraordinary things when carried on the wings of …
