Finally finished this one. Started with kitbashing the MPC Dodge Monaco Police Car with the AMT 1971 Dodge Charger since the MPC chassis, suspension and engine are almost worthless, my opinion. Added to that: -rebuild grille with fine mesh -resin cast headlights and bumpers, the latter heavily improved/modified -resin cast wheel hubs and caps -scratchbuilt CB antenna and side marker lights -completely rebuilt/redesigned lightbar. Im new to this, this General Lee hot wheels Mustang GTD is the very first one I did.

Now I've always been partail to this one branch of the services for awhile now. I've done my research and Im thinking about joining the marines after I get out of highschool. Now I was wondering if we got any vets on here from the marines or any branch of the service really. Id like to get some info on the marines in particular though!

I was thinking that I could start this game with A= Avery. And everyname after that had to have come from a character from the show or a show's name. So I start "The Great Hazzard Name Game" with the letter A and my name I pick is Avery.

What do I do? I paint. I paint pictures of photos I"ve taken or whatever comes to mind. And, just to keep things intersting, I teach drawing and painting at a local high school. I've got more, I'll post 'em later.

This is another one of my models completed the year before. Tough to find Ford pickups of the proper timeframe, and I found an old one on Ebay. In fact, it still had it's original purchase receipt in the box, dated 18 January 1975, almost four years to the day before the series started! Well was on Youtube.com for one of my favorite authors and his main character and came up with the idea of a favorite books or author thread here for anyone else who likes to read. My favorite authors are: Lee Child Michael Connelly John Lescroart Steve Martini I am hooked on these four author's books...once a new book comes out, I have to get it in my collection and to read it. Each book hard to put down and once it is over, leaves me looking forward to the next book of that author to come out. Who's your favorite author? Or what book is your favorite book?

Is anybody here into astronomy? I've been an amateur astronomer for 15 years. There's going to be a pretty good meteor show tonight. If you live in a city you will only be able to see the really bright ones because bright artificial lights drown them out. Of course if it's cloudy you're out of luck no matter where you live. Hopefully somebody besides me will get to check out the show.

Hi. One of my hobbies is collecting and racing slot cars. My collect would not be complete of course with out a General Lee slot car. Back in the early 80's Ideal toys made a Duke of Hazzard set with a General Lee and Roscoe's police car. Even though this was not a great quality set if filled the need. Now Auto World has made a new General Lee and much better quality. They have also created a better Roscoe's police car. This summer they plan to launch more Dukes of Hazzard cars. Going to be building my 2nd 1/25 General Lee. My first build I did not add a C.B or the Antenna. Could anyone possibly help me with a "build sheet" for scratch building the Cobra C.B and the RadioShack Antenna. I'd sure appreciate it.

My latest completion! Base kit was the vintage Monogram Mork & Mindy jeep, although the roll bar needed rebuilding (should go to the floor, instead of just sitting on top of the wheel wells). Scratchbuilt items include the CB antenna and mount, center console, sun visors, side lights, and headlights (made from polished acrylic diamante gems). Really happy with the carpet, stains and all!

I've loved astronomy my whole life. If anybody here as ever been under a truly dark sky and witnessed the Milky Way Galaxy in all its glory, you might have an idea why somebody can get hooked on the hobby. Here's some pics of 3 little ducklings I hatched in September. The little duck with the funky hairdo is Sgt Quackers, the other little black one is Beatle, and the little silver one is Lucky. My babies are getting bigger everyday and now, almost 4 months later, they're almost the same size as their parents. Lucky is a girl, Sgt. and Beatle are boys. All three have the same daddy, but Lucky has a different mom than the boys. Sgt Quackers was born 9-9-12. Beatle and Lucky were born 9-10-12.

So we had a BarnBuster play set...but no barn. Some foam board, glue, craft sticks, cardboard, scotch tape, and some crayons and .....TA-DAH !
