Meant to post this earlier when I finished it.  Had to combine two kits to make it.  Plenty of scratchbuilding in this one, including seat detailing, CB radio and antenna, rear view mirror, sun visors and of course the steer horns.

What material are you using to fill those holes that were in it etc ?

Which holes specifically?  I might use several things....gap-filling superglue cured and then filed/sanded/polished, or Tamiya white putty, or sometimes even styrene sheet or strip, welded with cement then sanded to shape.

I saw there was a big hole in the hood cowl area in the starting point pics

 

Oh, yes, below the windscreen....those white plugs are sheet styrene.  I cut pieces that would fit the hole, then welded it in with clear liquid cement.  Then, sanding to shape, and the final blemishes are touched up with superglue sanded to shape, or Tamiya white putty also sanded to fill.  Then once primed and painted, you can't tell there was ever a problem, if I did it right.

Scroll down further and you'll see a similar repair to the rear left taillight fin, as well as making a replacement for the top of the windscreen frame.

That's alot of work, but looks awesome !
How long do you estimate that Boss's Caddy took you to complete ? Just curious. 

Thank you!  Not sure how long exactly, but several long months for sure.  Wish I'd been starting with one good-conditioned kit instead of a junker with some spare parts added, I wouldn't have had half as many setbacks.

I can definitely say the one that took longest of the 6 so far is my General Lee; that one took several years.  You can find both a build thread and a completion thread here in this same forum, a few spaces down.

I have one question, my husband makes cars scale models 1.18.

He makes the cars commissioned, he makes now a Boss Hogg car but has difficulties of finding the bullhorn ornament.

I hope that you can help me by saying where I can find one for my husband.

Welcome to the HazzardNet. I can't help you but keeping checking in and I bet someone will have an answer. Has he made other cars from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show? 

My best thought would be E Bay....but some are made for real cars...some are made for models.....I imagine if you keep looking on E Bay , you'll probably find what you're after!  ( Welcome to Hazzard!)
